    Just like a ninja turtle
This blower far surpasses ,echo, red max 8500. Use it once and you'll understand what i mean. It's ergonomically designed and fits your back like a turtle shell. Red max 8500 feels like you are carrying a 26 lb box on your back 'where as the stihl br600 is a pleasure to have on with minimal fatigue and effort even after 4-5 hours of continuous leaf blowing. Very powerful
Good ergonomics, very powerful. Starts very good. Can't stand small engines that are hard to start. If it does not start on the second pull its out of gas. I run only non ethanol fuel to reduce build up and for extended fuel life. I have a lot of trees. Oaks and hickory. This thing blows large piles of hickory nuts almost like leaves. Had it for a year now and it gets a real workout at my place. I replaced a smaller husqvarna with this thing when it got hard to start. It runs circles around any ... read more blower I have ever used

    BR 600 is Awesome
Even though the price of this blower may initially scare the average consumer away, this is an awesome unit. I've owned this unit now for over a year and when I use it weekly, my neighbors all stand there watching in awe. It simply blows like crazy and makes moving leaves, grass clippings, bark, dirt and debris an easy job in very little time. I've even used it to move light snow in the winter. It simply will remove spots from a leopard! Great unit and I certainly would buy again...

    Pushing Leaves
Working almost 3 acres of mixed woodland. Bought this today and 5 tanks of gas later I can say I put a major dent in the leaves and pine needles. Almost bought an echo which are cheaper but Stihl has always delivered on their other products. I have a few. Wish we could burn these leaves like we did as kids.

    Awesome buy !
Bought this in Spring time wish I would have done this a while ago. It cleans up sidewalks and driveway fast. Be interesting to see what it does once Fall time comes around.

Gets the job done in a hurry
This blower always takes just two pulls to start, is very powerful, and very comfortable to work with. Very happy with the performance, and after buying (and cussing at) three home improvement store cheap blowers, I should have just spent the extra money getting a Stihl in the first place!

Good, but a few issues early on.
I have only had this machine about 4 - 6 weeks and have given it only light use so far. But it has been easy to start and operate. Air flow and velocity seem good and it really has not been as noisy as the electric blower I had before. I really like not having a cord to get out, drag around, and put up. I did have a problem while on my 3rd tank of fuel and took it for service. They replaced the carburetor within 2 days and it now seems OK.

Just one of many Stihl products I own. It is the ONLY brand I buy!
The blower is one of many Stihl products I own and operate. As an owner of rental properties, all my power tools get used, and I mean USED. The first was a MS-36 chainsaw purchased 25 years ago. It is still going strong. With reasonable maintenance and proper fuel mixture, I have never had a machine breakdown or failure to operate. WHY would I buy any other brand? When you are on the job your time is money!

    Great handheld power.
When my old blower broke I bought a BG 56CE. It did not have the power I needed, my local Stihl dealer let me trade up to BG 86 CE. It has great power to blow wet cedar tree stuff off my roof and out of my gutters. It is relatively quiet compared to my last blower. The engine runs so smooth, I don't get the pins and needles feelings in my hands after extended use, which is my favorite aspect of the BG 86. I also like the four year warranty (with purchase of Stihl gas:oil mix).

    excellent for the average home
You can't beat the power of a gas engine! I had a battery blower prior to this and it was just ok. This Stihl 56 is great. Light enough to carry and more power. The very best thing is the eave trough cleaning attachment. In a few minutes I can walk around my home and clear every gutter and downspout without a ladder. Time saving and significantly safer.

    Treat yourself!
Ok, I normally bought power equipment by price point first. After being in the lawn business and in maintanence I guarantee this...if you want durability, dependability and efficiency you need to try Stihl! It is by far those most well designed equipment around. Give yourself a great gift!

I would recommend this blower for the small home owner.
My experience with the BG55 has been great. It always starts; prime once, choke on twice, choke off once and it's running, just half to milk it up to full throttle. However I need a blower with a little more turbulence, acorns and leaves move well but a good twig laughs at it. Overall it's a good machine

The BR430 is the power I need
I have a BG86 hand blower which has worked well, yet did not have the power to blow piles of leaves. The BR430 is new and has all the power I need. The BG86 starts easily. The BR 430 is trickier in that once the engine is started, you have to reach over and nudge the throttle lever. If not quick enough, the engine quits and has to be restarted with a few pulls. While relatively new in usage, the BR430 was a good choice.

    Great Blower
I just purchased this blower yesterday, 11 April 2016 and have already used it to "sweep" my 1/4 mile driveway and around the house. It is a fantastic blower with plenty of power for what I intend to use it for in and around my 10 acres. It replaced a not so old hand held from another manufacturer that was very unreliable. The back padding is comfortable and the shoulder straps are wide and fit me nicely. I am 6'2" and 240 lbs for comparison. The blower feels light and easy to wear/use for ... read more extended periods of time. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this machine to anyone looking to upgrade to a backpack style blower.

    Great Blower
This is a great blower for residential use if you have large areas to blow. Even wet leafs or pine needle are no problem. Easy to start and run for long periods without needing to refueled. I would suggest getting the optional chest strap to ensure the straps don't slide to your shoulders.

    well worth the money
I bought this blower about 2 weeks ago, I am so glad that I did. I was using another brand for the last 3 years, I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I only have 1/2 acre but I have 100 year old oak trees surrounding my house so the leaves are ridiculous. I have burnt 4 tanks of gas out of this thing and I love it. I bought the 600 to start with and it worked great as well, I just figured for the extra 50$ and the extra cfm that I needed it would be worth it and it was.

    Well worth the extra bucks
I have the br380 blower now for over 10 years. Nothing wrong with it just wanted to blow wet leaves and it lacked it ! So went into our local still dealer in Loganville and they told me about the br700 I bought it and as soon as I pulled the trigger I about fell over ! The power was in real ! I was afraid to blow the grass cause it might just go with the leaves ! Lol. What power it has. A must to have. Thanks Stihl Great product! Bob

    powerful is an understatement
i have owned a stihl br 340 for many years and it has performed flawlessly. i decided to upgrade to the br 700, this thing is a beast. i believe it would blow the vinyl siding off of the house, if you were so inclined to do so. surprisingly quiet for a machine of it's power range.it makes quick work of all the debris associated with having many pine trees on your property, and yes it is powerful enough to blow the gravel out of your driveway, if you are not careful where you point this unit. i ... read more hope to utilize this machine for as many years as i have the previous model.
