    Overall Excellent Blower
I have owned several blowers over the past 20 years and many of them Stihls. I own a small Lawn Care Business and I have used Stihls almost exclusively for blowers. I have had my last BR 600 for at least 6-7 years and it has been a work horse. I did have to replace the carburetor about 3 years ago and I think I need to replace it again but with the amount of work it has done this is acceptable maintenance. I just purchased a new BR 600 and I am sure I will get great service for years.

    Does a great job
I upgraded to a BR 600 after using (still using) a BR 400 for 20 years. I had contemplated looking at a Husqvarna 750 and it felt like I had a Volkswagen on my back and sounded like it had no muffler. Don't be afraid of the 4 mix. Is quiet and lots of power on wet or dry leaves. All my power tools are Stihl and it's nice to go back to the dealer you purchased it from instead of a major box store or online purchase. Starts with one pull and is quieter than most other back pack blowers.

    Awesome Machine
I live on a large wooded lot with constant needs for clearing leaves and other debris. The BR 600 is so powerful and easy to use that I actually look forward to cleaning the yard. It starts easily, runs steadily, blows with authority, and can take on most challenges. I even used it to clear three inches of light snow from my sidewalk and cars. Do buy a noise canceling over the ear headset. All of that power makes some noise.

    Great performance all around
No vibration issues at all that would otherwise put one's hand to sleep. A solid feel and a smooth runner. Starts with ease. Airflow output plenty steadily sufficient to handle light powdery snow for quick removal. I expect great leaf blowing capability given the chance this coming fall. Noise level is easy to handle. No issues. All around a great addition to my cleaning gear! My first Stihl purchase and couldn't be happier.

excellent power and control of air streams
I purchased in 2014 a BG 86C-E model handheld blower. Best blower I ever owned. Easy to use, plenty of power and dependable. The three things a homeowner looks for in any type of power tools. . It funnels more air into a smaller size that moves mountain of leaves with ease. You can easily control the edges where the blower air stream is distinct unlike other blowers. Not only is this blower well worth the price but is the most efficient. It is amazing how much work it is capable of doing. Never ... read more own anything but Stihl products.

    Nice, well-balanced, easy-to-start blower/vac with minimal drawbacks.
I found, as stated in other reviews, that it must run a few moments to warm-up to full power, which is not a big deal. Power seems very adequate, well-balanced, and runs smooth. Once warmed up, the Easy2Start feature makes restarting easy and consistently effortless. The main downside for me is always having to use a tool (screwdriver tip) to unlock the blower tube when changing over to a vac or switching to the gutter attachment; this process could have been made much easier and tool-free. If ... read more you never change tubes or attachments, then no problem! I have found STIHL products to be reliable and high quality.

    The product is reliable.
The product should have the auto run feature so the throttle tab does not need to be held down all of the time.

Best blower I've ever owned! Powerful, dependable.
I've owned numerous leaf blowers over the years of different makes and models. The Stiihl is BY FAR the most powerful and dependable. Wish I had started with s Stihl years ago to avoid a lot of headaches and mechanical problems with the other brands. Highly recommend.

I would recommend this blower for the small home owner.
My experience with the BG55 has been great. It always starts; prime once, choke on twice, choke off once and it's running, just half to milk it up to full throttle. However I need a blower with a little more turbulence, acorns and leaves move well but a good twig laughs at it. Overall it's a good machine

Powerful enough for the average home user
I bought this model for my husband to "play" around with at our home. We have used it for 2+ years now, and the only issue we have had was that he had to unfoul a filter at one point. It is easy to use and powerful enough to blow leaves or 3-4 inches of snow. It is a little heavy for me as a 150 lb. woman to use easily, but my husband has no problems using it. In fact, I think he enjoys finding a reason to "play" with it.

Best blower I've ever put my hands on
It starts in one or two pulls it is better than the homelite I used the previous year. It's super fuel efficient I've filled the tank may be three time the entire summer so far it's not got the padding like on a br380 along with an elastostart cord would be nice but that is a small area of improvement it's more than enough power but is nice for wet leaves and grass.

    Just What I Needed
My BR 55 is an awesome blower. But I needed just a little more power and the BR 350 is just what I needed. The fact that I can hold down the trigger and it never loses power is what I like. This is my first back pack blower and so far I’m very satisfied.

    Easy to start and dependable!
I bought my BR450 as a replacement last fall. The BR450 is easy to start and has more than enough power for my needs. The controls are easy to use and the start cycle is well designed and efficient, usually starting on the first pull. Fall clean up was a snap and it worked well getting leaves out of our stone walls and shrubs. I have even used it to clear light snow off our cars and walk. I'm very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone looking for high quality at a reasonable price.

best power to weight ratio of any blower with cool features
i have been a stihl fan for years except blowers. i saw this the other day , demoed it and took it home. you hit a home run with this one stihl. its light and powerful. the adjustable nozzle works great for me to adapt to my needs. it can play ball with the two strongest blowers out there.. the echo pb770t and redmax ebz8500.. and is lighter. i own all three blowers mentioned above and use them all but cant keep my br450 off my back. love it stihl. p.s. stihl i also own ( orange and white ;) ... read more ) ms192 ms290 fs100rx fc110 bt45 hl100

    This is one sweet machine!
Starts fast and easily as long as you start it as instructed in your manual. It has superb power and is comfortable to operate, as long as you keep your posture correct and don't slouch your shoulders. That being said, this blower is the best I've operated in my 30 yrs. experience and I've tried a few different brands over those years. Best of all it's MADE IN AMERICA! (always keep fresh gas or store as recommended in the owners manual, I always use a fuel preservative in all my equipment before ... read more storage with great results)

    Best blower in the world!
This blower is the best ive ever had in my career! I don't know why people are giving it negative reviews. It has the same engine as the 600 and I had a 600 for about 6 years and serviced it myself (im also a small engine machanic). It needed very little servicing in its lifespan, and I expect the same to be true for new 700! No valve problems foreseeable. Best power much better then any other backpack blower ive ever owned in every aspect. Love this blower, best investment ive ever made!

    Power
This thing will blow u away. I mean leaves. Wet leaves. Moved big rocks even up to 3 inches. Major air flow. I've even used it for snow removal as it just had the power. I must mention I always carry a smaller blower in left hand to help direct leaves or snow. My only complaint is short pull string. If ur the boss like me then not a problem but if u have employees I'm guessing they will pull it out eventually. Could be at least 4 feet longer. If u have employees you know what I'm talking ... read more about as they always have to pull to end of string.

    Great blower!!
I was hesitant about the price. But this blower starts easy, is comfortable to carry, and it does a great job! I had a smaller blower that just helped a little. I have A LOT of leaves to clean up, wet ones behind buildings, sticks mixed in, big areas to move leaves. This thing does the job. I haven't lifted a rake yet this fall! I have no blisters as I usually do from raking. And I have cut my raking time by 1/3!
