    Great little blower.
I like that it is lightweight and starts on the first pull. I wish it had a little more blowing power like the Husqvarna I used. I use it all the time now because of its low maintanence and ease of starting and use: Cleaning pine neadles off the driveway. +5 Blowing gravel into potholes. +1 Starting bonfires. +5 Cleaning out the garage. +5 Blowing out the car after dusty drives. +5 Cleaning up leaves and grass clippings. +4 Blowing mud out of trench +2 Overall I am very happy ... read more with it, is small light and easy to use.

    Very dependable and powerful.
Great blower that starts on first or second pull every time!

    Very powerful
Good ergonomics, very powerful. Starts very good. Can't stand small engines that are hard to start. If it does not start on the second pull its out of gas. I run only non ethanol fuel to reduce build up and for extended fuel life. I have a lot of trees. Oaks and hickory. This thing blows large piles of hickory nuts almost like leaves. Had it for a year now and it gets a real workout at my place. I replaced a smaller husqvarna with this thing when it got hard to start. It runs circles around any ... read more blower I have ever used

Great design for the urban leaf blower.
Excactly what was needed in a noise conscience environment. Stihl enough power to lift wet leaves of the sidewalks. If I was to use it everyday I would probably go for the BR600 but since it is only used sparingly this does the job I bought it for.

    Impressive product
Upgraded to the 500 and was amazed with the power, ease of use, quick start, and weight. What used to take me an hour now only takes 20 minutes.

Very Quite and Does the Job
I Maintain Grounds equipment on a university campus and we recently purchased three BR 500 Blowers for our department. All three are working great and it is much nicer around campus with the reduced noise levels from these blowers. We have many trees and at any one time are running 7 to 8 leaf blowers during the Fall to keep up. The BR 500 Blowers move less air than other blowers that are available but they provide enough air to do the job and as stated above produce noticeably less noise.

I would recommend this blower for the small home owner.
My experience with the BG55 has been great. It always starts; prime once, choke on twice, choke off once and it's running, just half to milk it up to full throttle. However I need a blower with a little more turbulence, acorns and leaves move well but a good twig laughs at it. Overall it's a good machine

    Treat yourself!
Ok, I normally bought power equipment by price point first. After being in the lawn business and in maintanence I guarantee this...if you want durability, dependability and efficiency you need to try Stihl! It is by far those most well designed equipment around. Give yourself a great gift!

Best blower I've ever owned! Powerful, dependable.
I've owned numerous leaf blowers over the years of different makes and models. The Stiihl is BY FAR the most powerful and dependable. Wish I had started with s Stihl years ago to avoid a lot of headaches and mechanical problems with the other brands. Highly recommend.

To date, their best professional blower
I own a BR 550, BR 600 Magnum, and now the BR 450 C-EF -- without a doubt this is Stihl's best blower to date (Oct 2015). I think the Stihl engineers have underrated the CFM, as I can attest that it is virtually equal to the 600 Magnum (and possibly greater). Also, the way that the air is delivered is better, it seems to have more "punch" when you throttle up (compared to the 600). Electric start is a fantastic feature, even on cold mornings, it fires right up. Also, the larger fuel tank is a ... read more benefit over previous models..

Bought the BR450C-EF for the electric start feature- Great Innovation by STIHL
I bought the 450 for the electric start because it always seems like someone is coming up to "talk" with you! I have three other Stihl Backpack Blowers that serve me well, BUT....I always seem to gravitate towards the 450 for the electric start convenience. The power is equal to my 600 and 700 and the starting procedure is simple! Starts every time with the electric start even after sitting for a few months. I can't begin to say enough good things about the 450....so go and get one,you won't be ... read more disappointed. You get what you pay for with STIHL!

    Fantastic blower
The electric start is fantastic. I have 2 young children and having constant interuptions while doing yard work can get quite tiresome with a traditional pull start engine. This machine has tons of power (more than I was expecting actually) and runs like a dream. I highly recommend the pre-mixed motomix as well. like most homeowners, i dont use mixed fuel quick enough before it goes bad (with the ethanol). Although a bit more expensive than mixing your self, the benefits far out way the costs.

    Pushing Leaves
Working almost 3 acres of mixed woodland. Bought this today and 5 tanks of gas later I can say I put a major dent in the leaves and pine needles. Almost bought an echo which are cheaper but Stihl has always delivered on their other products. I have a few. Wish we could burn these leaves like we did as kids.

best power to weight ratio of any blower with cool features
i have been a stihl fan for years except blowers. i saw this the other day , demoed it and took it home. you hit a home run with this one stihl. its light and powerful. the adjustable nozzle works great for me to adapt to my needs. it can play ball with the two strongest blowers out there.. the echo pb770t and redmax ebz8500.. and is lighter. i own all three blowers mentioned above and use them all but cant keep my br450 off my back. love it stihl. p.s. stihl i also own ( orange and white ;) ... read more ) ms192 ms290 fs100rx fc110 bt45 hl100

    Outstanding Blower!
I was looking for a new blower just to keep up with the leaves and pine needles in the drive and beds. I have a landscape company doing the yard but there are times the leaves and needles start dropping and could use touch up before they get back the next week. I was going for the BR 200, I liked the light weight but the power was not as strong as I had hoped for. I purchased the BR 450 and WOW ! this is truly the blower to get... they should just sell this one blower. I live on one acre and I ... read more cleaned out the flower beds by blowing only where the pine needles and leaves had been dropping and now have a yard full of leaves and needles to pickup that are about 2 feet deep and 20 feet long. Very strong blower, easy to start, well balanced, no vibration, and the adjustable nozzle and throttle are great .... what are you waiting for .. bite the bullet and buy one, you will like it for sure!

Best blower I've ever put my hands on
It starts in one or two pulls it is better than the homelite I used the previous year. It's super fuel efficient I've filled the tank may be three time the entire summer so far it's not got the padding like on a br380 along with an elastostart cord would be nice but that is a small area of improvement it's more than enough power but is nice for wet leaves and grass.

Love the weight and it's powerful!
I'd recommend the Stihl BR 350. Great machine. It might hurt a bit for the price, but you'll be glad you bought it. I live on a corner lot in a heavily oaked sub division in Florida. No snow, but lots of oak leaves to tend too. This blower gets the job done in half the time it used to take with my old hand held. Pay a little bit now and rest assured you gain that cost savings in time spent out on your lawn. Great purchase.

Won't be fooled again by mediocrity
The reliability and durability of a used Stihl chainsaw led me to consider one of their blowers after several disappointments with lesser brands. The BR350 has ample power for our 25 acre campus, and the input I received from pros in the field satisfied me that I made the best choice for the school for the long haul. Although somewhat heavier than I expected, once it's strapped on and adjusted properly, it becomes an extension of my body and responds intuitively to changing conditions. Startup ... read more and maintenance are a breeze, making my job that much easier... I intend to turn to Stihl for future equipment purchases.
