    Top Notch Time Saver!
This product did an amazing job both with the vacuum and the blower. This saved me hours of time being able to switch quickly from blowing and vacuuming. It mulched the leaves and sticks, and aside from the occasional 1 inch piece getting stuck it ate the rest with no damage to the metal blades! Love this thing and will have the weed eater next season to match!!

    Great for ladies too!
After my divorce my nephew lent me his old Stihl blower and bagger from his landscaping business. This was the blower that was not secured and fell off the truck and hit the pavement, but it still worked like a dream. I appreciated it because it had the bagger feature and was easy to start. Long story short. He moved the blower and bagger went with him and I went out the next weekend and purchased the same model with the bagging feature. Thank you for building such a dependable, easy to start ... read more durable piece of yard equipement.

    This blower is a beast.
I finally took the plunge and purchased a quality blower. No regrets. It is powerful, lightweight and vibration free. I have used it in situations that would have left my old blower gasping for breath. It has met my expectations and then some. The only hit I would give it is it takes a little bit to warm up and get to full power. Once it does....look out.

My crew and I are impressed
I have been using the Br600 &Br550s since they came out, I recently made the switch to give this electric start blower a 'what the heck' shot on the trailer and we are very enthusiastic about it. We can't tell the slight decrease in CFM but it's in between the power of a BR550 and BR600. Overall, the differences are minimal and I think the electric start may prove to be worth it. It is slightly heavier (3 lbs.) but the gas tank is bigger. Give it a shot in the field or at your home, I think it ... read more will stand up to the abuse like any other Stihl product.

    Time saver
This blower has tripled my productivity. After using this blower commercially I am amazed at the amount of time it has saved me. Features I like: Electric start Moveable throttle to your arm length The self contained blower tube is fantastic. Power is very sufficient. Cons: shoulder straps are bad for such a high dollar blower. It seems like they were an after thought. It gets uncomfortable during long periods of usage. The blower is thirsty, has a big tank for fuel but it can go through ... read more it rather quickly.

AWESOME BLOWER FOR PRO'S OR HOMEOWNER!
First, this is the best blower I have ever used.I have had echo, shindy, redmax etc. I also have the stihl br600 magnum, great blower also.the br450 cef has lower numbers on m.p.h and cfm, but you cannot tell a difference blowing.plus the electric start and tube make up the difference. Blows wet grass clippings, wet leaves and moves piles of dry leaves with ease. The end tube decreaser is great for moving wet material, remove that and moves piles and piles of dry leaves. Very comfortable, ... read more convenient and reliable. I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS BLOWER TO ANY PRO OR HOMEOWNER.

Very Quite and Does the Job
I Maintain Grounds equipment on a university campus and we recently purchased three BR 500 Blowers for our department. All three are working great and it is much nicer around campus with the reduced noise levels from these blowers. We have many trees and at any one time are running 7 to 8 leaf blowers during the Fall to keep up. The BR 500 Blowers move less air than other blowers that are available but they provide enough air to do the job and as stated above produce noticeably less noise.

This product blows stronger than any other brand.
Had a choice between this BR 600 model, or the newer released model. I am totally satisfied with the operation and strength of this BR 600 model, the ease and weight, and the efficiency of air flow. The newer high end blower utilizes the CFMs better, I understand, but can't imagine an improvement over the BR 600!

    Awesome Blower
I wish I had bought a Stihl blower sooner. The power and reliability have cut my blowing leaves time in half.

It is easy to get in to tight spots and on roofs
I do you like it better than the 600 it is speeding me up at least 10 to 20 minutes per yard It is easier to get up on a ladder because the hose comes in so short The extra weight doesn't seem to be a factor It is lasting 1 to 11/2 hrs. Between we fueling also good to get in to tight spots around the house and air-conditioning units

    power rush
I work a large acreage that is a dedicated wildlife refuge with the only passage thru it being my 2 mile driveway in an wild understory and large oak trees. On my weekly treks to jobs as an Architect I have to use that driveway and it's prone to be covered + clogged with limbs, leaves, acorns, on and on. Well this hoss of a machine can make it look like a suburban private drive in short order! Man what a rush to see all those leaves, acorns, old vines , branches....EVERYTHING just literally ... read more fly off the asphalt ! No more tractor pushing it........... Unbelievable Power!
I use this blower a least a couple of hours per week and have done so for the last year. It starts on the first pull and is actually very light and easy to use. The gas tank lasts for easily over an hour-and-a-half at a time before I have to refill. The power is unbelievable; I'm a big guy and I have to lean into it when I put it to full power--it works fantastically. It used to take me several hours to clear my property of leaves and now that work has been shortened to 20 minutes. It will blow ... read more heavy wet leaves and even wet sand and gravel. If you need power, this is the blower I recommend!

    GREAT MACHINE WITH ONE FLAW
As said by others this is a great blower made for work but it really needs a chest strap. the shoulder straps keep falling off. right now I have a bungee across the two straps.

    Great Blower
This is a great blower for residential use if you have large areas to blow. Even wet leafs or pine needle are no problem. Easy to start and run for long periods without needing to refueled. I would suggest getting the optional chest strap to ensure the straps don't slide to your shoulders.

    Everything it should be
I've never had a really good leaf blower before, because I haven't really needed a big one. The power and efficiency of a backpack blower compared to a handheld is amazing. I've only had this one a few weeks, but I really like it. It is a little clumsy, when you're in a tight space, but that is a small price to pay for capability.

    Should have bought years ago!
I've never owned Stihl products before, but I'm a believer now. I'm I've had a hand held model for years and it gets heavy and isn't as powerful as this. We have about 1/3 acre and it does great with all the trees and leaves we have. I can use it all day no problem unlike my hand held by a different manufacturer. Starts real easy. I love the "cruise control" feature. Set the level of blowing power and then I just walk around the yard doing my thing. Less fatigue on my hands and fingers compared ... read more to my old hand held. My only concern is that I should have bought it years ago!

Wow. Best purchase I've made in a long time
After using a hand held blower for uears to clear fall leaves, I decided to take the plunge and purchase a back pack blower and what a pleasure. I compated similar units from other manufacturers in use by my neighbors. All had their plusses amd minuses such as noise, power, comfort, price, etc. The Stihl met or exceeded in all categories. What a pleasure to operate.

best power to weight ratio of any blower with cool features
i have been a stihl fan for years except blowers. i saw this the other day , demoed it and took it home. you hit a home run with this one stihl. its light and powerful. the adjustable nozzle works great for me to adapt to my needs. it can play ball with the two strongest blowers out there.. the echo pb770t and redmax ebz8500.. and is lighter. i own all three blowers mentioned above and use them all but cant keep my br450 off my back. love it stihl. p.s. stihl i also own ( orange and white ;) ... read more ) ms192 ms290 fs100rx fc110 bt45 hl100
