    Great little blower.
I like that it is lightweight and starts on the first pull. I wish it had a little more blowing power like the Husqvarna I used. I use it all the time now because of its low maintanence and ease of starting and use: Cleaning pine neadles off the driveway. +5 Blowing gravel into potholes. +1 Starting bonfires. +5 Cleaning out the garage. +5 Blowing out the car after dusty drives. +5 Cleaning up leaves and grass clippings. +4 Blowing mud out of trench +2 Overall I am very happy ... read more with it, is small light and easy to use.

    Beats a rake...
I have a 2-acre yard half covered in trees. We didn't rake all of it last fall as it was just a battle we could not win. I decided to pick up the BR600 and I'm very glad I did. It was blowing soaking wet leaves, sticks, branches and small rocks and a snake like they were nothing. The spots where I had leaves on top of mulch I could cut the throttle back most of the way and leave most of the mulch undisturbed. It's a lot quieter than I thought it would be. Also worked great on a bee that kept ... read more buzzing me...not sure where he ended up... Between this BR600, my FS70R and MS261 C-M I can keep the place looking nice! Anyway, highly recommend this leaf blower if you need something that can move leaves with not much effort!

    Overall Excellent Blower
I have owned several blowers over the past 20 years and many of them Stihls. I own a small Lawn Care Business and I have used Stihls almost exclusively for blowers. I have had my last BR 600 for at least 6-7 years and it has been a work horse. I did have to replace the carburetor about 3 years ago and I think I need to replace it again but with the amount of work it has done this is acceptable maintenance. I just purchased a new BR 600 and I am sure I will get great service for years.

    Great power and very dependable
Best money I've ever spent on a blower period.I will probably never have to buy another blower.

    Impressive product
Upgraded to the 500 and was amazed with the power, ease of use, quick start, and weight. What used to take me an hour now only takes 20 minutes.

This product blows stronger than any other brand.
Had a choice between this BR 600 model, or the newer released model. I am totally satisfied with the operation and strength of this BR 600 model, the ease and weight, and the efficiency of air flow. The newer high end blower utilizes the CFMs better, I understand, but can't imagine an improvement over the BR 600!

    Excellent power, easy to start
I mostly use to blow sidewalks off and it does a great job. Electric start is very convenient. My wife loves not having to take off to restart. Feels just as powerful as br600!

    Padding problems
As others viewers have stated that the power and electric start are remarkable. I've only had this machine for a WEEK and the performance is fantastic *EXCEPT* the harness padding. No matter how well the machine performs, if I can't comfortably shoulder it then it's no good to me for long jobs. Sad to say, but I might be taking this back all because of a strap issue. Too bad Stihl might lose customers purchasing this because of bad padding. If it only had the BR 700 harness, I'd keep it!

Awesome blower with a lot of power
This blower is great. Price wasn't too appealing at first but after using it I'd recommend it to anyone. Starts everytime and don't even have to use choke most of the time. Blows like you wouldn't believe. Cleans leaves and debris off of any surface I've tried. Really powerful even with wet leaves. Give this one an A+

    There's a reason....
There's a reason why Stihl products cost little more. It's because you get what you pay for. This blower falls into that category. From looks and design to performance, I'm glad a paid a few dollars more for a Stihl. The blower is powerful enough for the average homeowner and has a low db rating so it's not that loud. From the minute I brought this home, I had a blast (no pun intended) cleaning up all of the leaves....from heavy and wet Maple leaves to lighter and smaller Japanese maple this ... read more blower makes easy work of cleaning up.

    Just What I Needed
My BR 55 is an awesome blower. But I needed just a little more power and the BR 350 is just what I needed. The fact that I can hold down the trigger and it never loses power is what I like. This is my first back pack blower and so far I’m very satisfied.

    Hurricane in a can
I will have to say this thing BLOWS and in a good way. It starts easy, but it's only 2 weeks old, the blowing power vs the weight ratio of the unit is VERY impressive, and the weight is normal for a 65 cc engine on your back Pull the trigger and your shoulder is pushed back with the velocity of a NASCAR racer coming out of the nozzle at almost 200mph. I had the BR450, but took it back for the BR 700 because of the less weight and more power. Buy Sthil and shed a tear at the counter over ... read more yer wallet, but rest assure it's a BEAST. Holy power!
I'm literally and figuratively blown away! As a residential schmuck, my existing backpack blower was purchased at a big box store. I'm not going to start ripping into this other brand because everyone knows they Bild Toys and not tools, but at the time I must have been distracted by the flashy packaging and "4 cycle" labeling to the point of overwhelming my common senses. This absolute moment of total glee came over me as I hit the throttle on the BR700. Holy mother of motherly things! My ... read more old blower might as well have been a hair dryer by comparison! Soon I was blasting leaves down to the dirt around the perimeter that were definitely from last year. Reading specs etc online, I hoped it would be maybe 2x as effective. In reality the difference is so much more. Do yourself a favor and get a real blower from the start.

    Perfect for my yard
My son has a backpack blower that is to big for my yard. I have 5000 sq. ft. to use a blower on. My son has 1 1/2 acres. His blower is a BR 500. Brought the blower home and gave it a try. Much to my surprise this is more than enough power. Possibly more than I need. Every thing Stihl says it is and more. I am going back today and get the gutter attachment because I do not like getting up to the roof. Easy start, loads of power, and easy to use. I have always believed spend the money for ... read more quality, you get what you pay for. Great value for the money

    It's a stihl !!!!
I purchased the BG 86 this morning from the local Stihl dealer. He poured fuel into the tank and it started on the second pull. I got it home and it again started on the second pull. I used it for half an hour to move a lot of pine needles and leaves. It was comfortable to use, didn't kick to one side like my old Craftsman that was only 3 years old and stopped running. Hopefully this blower will continue to work as well as my Stihl chainsaw, grass trimmer and hedge trimmer have.

    This product is awesome
I was a little hesitant at first to purchase this leaf blower because of the price but I am very happy with the over all performance. I bought my house a few months ago and I first bought a stihl weed wacker. When it was time to buy a leaf blower I went right back to the store to purchase again. The power is great and it is so nice not to have to worry if it will start. I definitely will continue to purchase all of my tools from Stihl.
