Stihl a cut above the rest
The BGA100 has tremendous power for such a lightweight handheld. I look forward to when a leaf falls in my yard so I can get this puppy out and blast it. The battery life is descent with the AP300 and I honestly just enjoy using it. The turbo feature is genius. No gas. No oil. It just works. Well done Stihl.

    Very Powerful
After working with the full line of gas powered products on our 16 acres we have downsized to 1/2 acres in a quiet gated community. I decided to give the BGA 100 a try based on the convenience of battery power. What an amazingly quiet powerful blower. With two batteries and the 500 series charger, one is never without a fully charged battery in reserve. Highly recommend this blower for homeowner use.

    Fabulous and Powerful Yard Blower
I didn't know how this would compare to the powerful gas blowers, but I got tired of the noise and the gas and the pull to start. In my opinion, this blower is more powerful than the gas line blowers! Including the gas backpack. Now the Gas backpack blowers are for pro's who don't have to worry about battery life and usually go for longer period of times than you would with the battery blowers. This BGA100 is designed for the semi pro or home owner. I haven't tested for battery life ... read more because you'd have to run a full power test along with and multi range power test, which I haven't done as I'm more interested in just using the blower. My guess is that on full power, you'd have maybe 10-15 minutes. That's with the big battery, which I bought. But here's the thing, you'd never need full power when you use this guy anyway. during normal usage, I'd guess you'd have about 30mins useage, but that's a guess. Of course with the big capacity battery. One thing though, I might have purchased the BGA85 simply due to the fact that you don't have to wear the battery belt & cord which is not as convenient. But the BGA100 has the power I want and need and I didn't know about the BGA85. And when you need the power, you need it! The Blower itself is light. It's a big thing though! Looks really intimidating when you actually see it in person!!

I am now 100% battery dependent...I'll never go back!
Talk about addicting...I started with the FSA 85 string trimmer and BGA 85 blower. I was so impressed that I next purchased the MSA 160 chain saw and finally the HSA 66 hedge trimmer. I was really craving a cordless pole trimmer, so I sent Stihl an e-mail requesting that they add it to their cordless line...and I guess they listened! I will be making another trip to my local dealer to add the HTA 85 to my Stihl cordless arsenal! Stihl tools are made for people that know that quality and ... read more longevity does not come cheap. I've always been well served by purchasing the best tools that I could afford.

    Nice Blower
I bought in to the Stihl system for the trimmer, but I love the blower as well. It has nice power and is easy to handle. Sometimes I wish there was a slightly smaller nozzle to generate more speed (even at less volume) for some jobs, but it has plenty power for most jobs. The fact that I would like to be able to use it for some places where I would use my compressor tells you that it has a lot of power. Every other cordless blower I ever owned was good for little more than leaves.

    Fully meets all my expectations
Bought it to blow leaves off the roof and clear the gutters. Does all that and more. Even used it this morning to blow the snow off the driveway and Suburban in 10 degree temperature. Using the 160 battery it lasted a full 30 minutes even at that temperature! May have to buy a second 160 battery to increase use life (driveway 150' long) but overall with the sole exception of the high price I love the machine. It is light enough that my wife will use it while she would never use a gas blower of ... read more which I have several.

    Excellent blower
Got tired of gas blower not starting at the beginning of season due to gummed up gas lines. I have a fairly large lot with a pool, long driveway and sidewalk. I can blow off everything without needing a recharge.

    Great product
Just purchased this battery Stihl blower from JEFF of San Carlos Stihl dealership . Product is outstanding. After charging battery up to full capacity blew leaves out of garage and cleaned pool area in no time. Blower is very light and no effort to start like many of gas models are. Cleaned up my house outside area in no time and no gas to mix or pull starters. This blower has really made a believer of me. Great product Stihl, u really hit a home run on this one!
