    Impressive Blower
My wife claims I have to have two of every thing, now I have three Stihl blowers backpack, hand held now battery. I was a little leary about buying this battery operated blower, most that I have tried in the big box stores have been very low on power with very little battery life. But again Stihl with its quality and reputation has come out with a battery operated blower that does everything I require. The battery life is exceptional and the power I’m extremely impressed, I have a tree ... read more that is constantly dropping leafs in the driveway front of the garage and the side of the house. After the battery charge for 24 hours I blew the driveway both sides of house and anything that I could do to test the power and the battery life. The power was exceptional and after I completed the task I pulled the battery out of the blower stuck it in the charger and it only required one green bar to charge the battery back fully. After I purchased it on my way home I was having a little buyers remorse but I was really sick and tired of every time I needed to use the blower I had to go find a gas can and fill one of the blowers up. I think this is going to really work out well.

It’s a residential model for the average home owner! Will do what it’s intended to do..
My purchased focused on the fact I have a battery chainsaw. Uses the same battery plus I bought a extra battery for the chainsaw at the same I purchased saw. So I have lots of batteries to use both and two chargers. The blower clears all my grass clippings after the mower covers driveway and walk ways. I have trees that hang over my decks that are messy!! So this blower beats sweeping as it gets pieces out that has been trapped into the cracks in the deck boards! I use to clean my garage ... read more floor! Better then a broom... so yeah it’s a handy little tool! PS.. I will use to clean the snow off my car in the morning when the time comes!

    Couldn't be happier!
I purchased a Stihl BGA56 battery powered blower just on the reviews that I read from others that bought this blower, and I'm so glad I did! I was a little leery at first buying a battery charged blower, but it is so quite, I don't need to deal with gas/oil, its light in weight and has all the velocity and blowing force I needed specifically to blow off my driveway, front porch, garage and deck every night. It takes me about 10-15 minutes each night to finish the job and theres still 2-3 green ... read more bars left on the charger battery. This Stihl BGA56 blower ROCKS!!.. literally blows rocks, twigs, leaves and acorns with ease. Love it!

    Good tool
I am looking forward to using this for a full season, and might update this review. The blower is light weight and has good power. I already had the battery chain saw which I love so I figure I'd continue with Stihl products so I can share batteries and charger. The BGA blower is over priced, and requires the user buy a battery box with power cord that is almost a third of the price of the blower. These are accessories that should come with the blower. The only reason I didn't recommend this ... read more tool is that it isn't worth the total cost.

Just as powerful as gas blowers
First off, this blower is just as powerful as gas blowers I've used. I picked it over gas blowers because I didn't want to mess with having premix fuel around and also it is lighter weight and doesn't vibrate like gas blowers. I like that this blower's battery is held in a belt holster instead of in the blower itself. This keeps the unit light weight wear it counts. I ended up using the shoulder strap that came with my string trimmer on the battery holster instead of a belt since I am usually ... read more wearing athletic shorts. I like that the same battery works for this blower and my string trimmer. I've had this blower and string trimmer for 2 years now and am now looking at getting a chainsaw and hedge trimmer that use the same batteries.

    Powerful & convenient. Pricey.
This blower is plenty powerful for homeowner needs. The convenience of the battery power system makes it very easy to use. Setup and commence work quickly! cords to manage. I have an extended driveway (300+ feet) that needs grass, tree limbs, and dropped acorns pushed away on a routine basis. The mobility of the battery pack is ideal for this. The cost of the battery, the battery bag and the blower is pricey.

    Solid with great power
This is a great cordless blower. A battery lasts about 25 minutes going full power. Blows leaves, twigs and crud with ease, like a good gas blower. Tool is very well balanced, so easy to handle when in use. Also nice lighter weight and decent noise level, well below that of a gas blower. I was not wild about the cost, but once I started using the tool the price became much less of an issue given the performance of the blower. It is worth the expense. Plus no more having to deal with gas and oil. ... read more The fast charger works great too. Will be buying more of the tools in the future.

    Great electric blower
We had bought this as blower to use where I work and I can not be more happy. The quality is there for a long days work and there is no fuel smell or mixing oil and gas or the loud engine, and that is key for a happy customer. The price is a little steep for it though, I almost matched the price of the blower with the battery and charger. And if used with care (not full or nothing) I was able to around 45min out of the AP 180 and still get the job done well. Last but not least, the blower can ... read more not be flicked around in your hand as well as the gas ones can, maybe due to the twin axial fans.

    BGA Blower
I purchased this to replace my gas powered blower which isn't used much in the winter season and I have the usual problems getting it started for the first time in spring. This time the pull rope broke. Other times it's the hoses or carburetor. My new BGA85 works like a champ. Just pick it up and get to work. I don't use ear plugs but you can if you feel the need. It is as heavy as the gas blower but well balance with the battery installed. Not a problem for me with bad wrists.
