Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product...quality Purchased my stihl 2 years ago best trimmer I’ve owned. After sitting all winter long it fired right up after 3rd pull. Strong, light with plenty of power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best string trimmer out there This is my 3rd Stihl string trimmer and I could not be happier. I bought the FS56RC model so it does not have the easy start feature, but it does not need it. It fires right up on the first or 2nd pull every time, even after sitting for a month or so. I am running Stihl synthetic oil and mixing it myself to our local pump gas. I recently put my new Stihl to the test: I had to clear a 1 acre lot completely grown over with tall weeds with thick stems which were more the consistency of wood, not green weeds. I thought that I would have to put a blade on the trimmer to clear this mess but decided to have a go with just the stock string head. This machine ate right through the nastiest lot of tough weeds I've ever seen with ease. Way more than enough power and it took a surprisingly low amount of trim line in the process. I cannot say enough positive about the great power of the motor, ease of start-up and overall build quality, and the quality of our local Stihl dealer, Walla Walla Saw and Knife. I fully expect that this trimmer will be the last I will ever need. My first two are still running strong with no breakdowns in over 10 years. Of course, I've re-strung the heads many times and that is not a tough chore once you read the manual and just wade in. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great trimmer I bought this trimmer last April before the season started because i could not get my older 4 stroke started and decided to buy a new trimmer rather than monkey around with the old one. This trimmer is fairly light weight and feels good in the hands. It has great power , I used it in an overgrown ditch of a customers lawn i do and it performed great. The only complaint i have is that the head is sometimes a pain to spool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grass Shredder This was my first weed eater purchase and it is nothing shy of perfect for around the house. I've used bigger commercial STIHL weed eaters in my previous landscaping job but I wanted one a little lighter. It's really easy to start and can take on jobs bigger than just normal lawn grass. I've cut through some thick weeds around my fence line with it with no problem. Love how easy it is to re-string too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT product Blows away EVERYTHING else worth the few extra bucks easy. I've been through 3 gas and 1 electric trimmer over the last 3-4 years none held up. This one is far superior in every way. Could have saved a tin had I just gotten this one first.
