    saved the day
My wife bought me a pair of these when she bought my 661cm. Was clearing a steep hillside with my 034 av super. Lost balance and the saw smacked my leg. It stopped the saw instantly. These chaps saved my leg. I laughed when she bought these as I had never wore a set before. Guess who is laughing now. Will most definitely be buying another set. These things are not near as annoying to wear as I thought they would be. They make my legs sweat just a little more in warm hot weather but definitely ... read more something you can put up with more then a trip to er or even worst the morgue.

    Don’t leave Home without them!
Have been cutting wood since 13. I’m 63 and now cut for a hobby! Never would have worn these in my younger days. The chaps protect your legs from briars, limbs and a little softer to kneel if your working a bigger log. Keep you warmer in the cold and don’t notice them in the heat. Keeps my under clothing in better shape. Hope I never have to find out if they “really” work but will never cut without them now that I know all of the other benefits!

    6 year review
My Pro Mark chaps have held up fine. They use to sell them in camo, which I have, and no problems wearing or using this product. I have been fortunate as I have one cut in each leg of my chaps from my 009. Both times I would have needed a visit to an emergency room and stitches had I not been wearing them. Both times I was cutting in a heaped brush pile with mesquite mixed in with the oak and the thorns distracted me enough when one would poke thru the chaps. Most thorns did not poke thru but I ... read more learned my lesson. I use my FS85 with the HT pole pruner to cut in brush piles now. I do wear them every time I cut since I bought them, a great investment I think.

Great product at a reasonable price
Works well. Good noise reduction and comfortable to wear. A bit hot in the summer months but that is to be expected with any similar products. Adjusts for both wife and I to use. No bells and whistles but a solid product for the money providing needed protection.

    Works great!!!
A great investment if you value your hearing. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. It reduces a lot of the noise of the power tools while still being able to hear quieter sounds like conversations. i might even take these to the gun range and try then out there.

Great All Around Garden or Work Gloves
These great little gloves hold up well and protect your hands from dirt and grime when working around the yard. Thin and light, but durable. Much better than the typical gardening glove I've purchased before. These last!

    Best yardwork gloves out there!
I love these gloves for yard work. I've used them for everything from weeding and pruning to ripping out an English ivy infestation and pouring concrete. These are great because the waterproof area covers way more of the hands and fingers than other similarly styled gloves. I just order 3 more pairs from my local dealer.

    Real good shades
I cut trees for a living. Do you all understand how important that is to society? Well, here while back I was on a job up in Nebraska. It was hot and the sun was beaming down on me like nobody's business. Thank God I had my Gridirons on when that squirrel came out of it's nest and and attacked my face, I would probably be blind if it wasn't for my Stihl Gridirons..

    Great gloves, great feel.
These gloves are so comfortable and durable. I wore these today for about 4 hours working outside mowing, trimming, pruning and shredder/vacuuming with all my STIHL machines and my hands felt great during and afterwards. These gloves have lots of dexterity and freedom of movement along with a good grip in the palm & finger areas. They offer pretty decent protection as well. These gloves also pretty cool looking too, my neighbor right away paid a compliment to them while I was working in my front yard!!

    Comfortable Tough Protection
When my “go-to gloves” finally wore out, I went on the hunt for a replacement. I picked up a pair of these in XL and I LOVE THEM!!! A little breaking in and they are like an old pair of jeans! They slip right on and fit! I also bought the dynamic chainsaw gloves and can recommend these for everything rather than the specific chainsaw gloves! These are much better and seem to hold up thus far with some hard use! They are my new favorite!!

    very comfortable
I may not have a paid job to where I need to work hard and daily, but I wear mine every time I head out to do anything. I've had them for years and have put them through the test, blistering sun to soaking rain, including the washing machine. I love these gloves, nothing else will do. I've worn holes in the leather and keep wearing them as I've been searching for a replacement pair. Nothing else will do. Finally went to a Stilh shop and they are ordering them in. Especially hard to find a medium.

    CONDITIONAL Recommendation!
I tried these on, but did not make the purchase for this reason...the flexibility of the knuckles & excess padding at the fingertips would make it difficult to finely nuance the throttle trigger of my FS-460 C-EM K & FS-560 C-EM Brushcutters/Clearing Saws. I find a lot of cutting situations where I need that "fine tuning" throttle capability which these gloves would inhibit. They are pretty stiff. However, if this is not bothersome in your application...give them a try! I have had carpal ... read more tunnel surgery before, so I understand where those of you out there may have more of a need for big-time vibration reduction than I do. I can imagine they would be helpful for those with shoulder rotator-cuff issues as well.

    Dulls Vibrations
I use these with a 20yr old Homelite string trimmer, and they do reduce felt vibration. I have found that it is necessary to start the trimmer with the gloves off, because I am unable to operate the fuel bulb or the choke lever with the anti-vibe padding. (The controls on the Homelite are small and could be configured a lot better). I recommend these gloves because they do what they say; however, if I were to re-design them I would leave the anti-vibe padding off of the trigger finger.

    No more aches and pain
Not the prettiest glove out there, but gets the job done with less hand fatigue and pain. The glove material allows breathability so you don't sweat too much. The palm pads allows enough spacing to be able to grip the tool you are working on. Dexterity is enough to move a slide control, squeeze a throttle trigger, set a choke knob and of course pull the starter grip. Pressing on a fuel pump bulb can be awkward since you can't feel too much pressure on your finger tips, but takes time and ... read more experience. Overall, I'm glad I got these gloves despite looking like the tire guy. In the past, my hands ached after yard work using the Stihl 130R with the edger attachment. It has much vibrations and made my hands ache and cramp. In my opinion, these gloves work better than other anti-vibration gloves.
