    Comfortable
I rethought how I was working using a chainsaw and decided to significantly improve the safety aspects of my work. These chaps were perfect to help protect me from the most common chain saw accidents. I am six feet tall and moderate build, and the 36" chaps fit perfectly. They are comfortable, easily adjusted, and have some great features like reinforced black knees when you have to kneel in the ground. Even when practicing the best safety techniques, I feel secure and confident knowing the ... read more Stihl Pro Mark Apron Chaps are there. Thanks Stihl for the great scrutiny and research put into this product.

    saved the day
My wife bought me a pair of these when she bought my 661cm. Was clearing a steep hillside with my 034 av super. Lost balance and the saw smacked my leg. It stopped the saw instantly. These chaps saved my leg. I laughed when she bought these as I had never wore a set before. Guess who is laughing now. Will most definitely be buying another set. These things are not near as annoying to wear as I thought they would be. They make my legs sweat just a little more in warm hot weather but definitely ... read more something you can put up with more then a trip to er or even worst the morgue.

    Saved a life
Had some people cutting thorny locust on a steep bank along my half mile driveway. Gave a Sawyer my Stihl chaps to wear as he didn't bring his. I was on a 4 wheeler moving between crews working top and bottom sections. When I came back down he apologized for ruining my chaps. I told him they did their job and that he probably would have bled out if he wasn't wearing quality PPE. The pro mark chaps stopped a ms261 running at full throttle and never penetrated the chaps. Nice product
Great glasses at a reasonable price point. Good quality. Stay on my head well when moving around. Clear vision through the lenses. Comparable to much more expensive glasses. I’m going to buy a second pair.

    Great Product
Great Product. You will need 'Y' suspenders, as they are low rise. I purchased size XL and I'm 6'4" and wear 42 x 32 pants and these are just right. I washed and dried them as described and they came out like new.

Great sound protection but wears out quickly
Great sound protection but the plastic which covers the foam next to your ears is flimsy and wears out fast. I wish they would put sturdier fabric next to the ears. Still the best passive hearing protectors. I will continue to buy them. But I would gladly pay more for a sturdier product.

    Great for Autism
Our Autistic son has been wearing Husqvarna hearing protection for years but the he read about these and ordered one pair. He won’t wear anything else now. He can’t hear a word I say. My husband says he wants some too. We are now ordering another half dozen. Great product.

    EXCELLENT Noise Protection!
Just picked up a pair of these Hearing Protectors and put them to test with my Chainsaws. It is remarkable how well these protectors block out the noise and are VERY COMFORTABLE to wear! They adjust nicely and stay where they are supposed to! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these Hearing Protectors to anyone that finds themselves around noise, they are well worth the reasonable price!

    Excellent Fit
I've been looking for a place to review these gloves (they aren't listed on Amazon). I bought them at a hardware store here in Illinois, and they are fantastic! You really should try any sort of clothes on in person before ordering online to be sure they fit you, and with any mass-produced clothes, try on several of the same product, because cuts are often off a bit, even if by 0.25mm, and one will fit ever so slightly better than another of the same make, model, and size. However, STIHL does a ... read more fantastic job at quality control from what I've observed, so if one pair fits you, the others are pretty likely to be just as good. Now, for some things that stand out about these excellent gloves: First and foremost, they fit near perfectly (my hands are large, with fingers longer than most gloves have). I was frustrated that most gloves labeled "Large" have stubby 2" fingers. These STIHL gloves are meant for a healthy, large, male hand like mine, NOT chubby hands with stub fingers. Secondly, for the level of protection these gloves provide, they amazingly retain near full dexterity! The only gloves I've used that are more dexterous are surgical gloves. The STIHL Outdoor PRO Gloves are nimble enough to pick up coins, tie shoelaces, handle tiny screws, and manipulate nearly all manner of small objects. This is a huge benefit when working in hazardous areas/terrain where it's ideal to keep your gloves on. Thirdly, though these gloves are a bit pricey compared to their lighter cousins, the impact plates (some kind of silicone or rubber) are placed in key spots where you really don't want stuff to hit your hand (like a 2x4 or scaffold rails). I do wish the padding was a bit more extensive, such as on the knuckles, thumb, and over the finger nails, but it's still very nice. Even the STIHL text on the top of the wrist has impact plates. The palm has excellent padding, thick enough to protect, but thin enough to remain dexterous. Final thoughts: The synthetic leather holds up very well, has decent grip, but isn't too grippy like some of those gecko-fingered gloves I've seen. The nylon fabric that holds the glove together is sturdy, flexible, breaths well, and does a great job at wicking sweat away. The gloves are warm enough to use in cool weather (around 35-40°F), but cool enough to use in warm weather (70-80°F). I like these gloves so much, I actually wear them everyday, even when out and about. They pass for excellent driving gloves, as well as hiking gloves. I'm not sure how they'd do for rock climbing, though, since I don't do that outdoor activity. The overall muted colors work well with many daily outfits, so these gloves I'd rate as excellent general purpose protective gloves. I will buy them again soon, just in case if they are discontinued by the time my current pair finally expires.

    Good gloves
I work for s tree service and wanted impact gloves. I ended up with a pair of thhese gloves. The fit was nice, they are light and protection was great. However the first job they tore. Not sure if it was a flaw or if they just aren't meant to be worked in this manner. I love the gloves but the quality was a bit low for the price.

    Good eye protection
I work in the landscaping field and I wear these every day. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. I always have them on. These are great because they hug your cheeks and get close to your temples to keep debris from flying under the glasses. One of the best features is the UV protection. I like having the UV blocked, but not having a tinted lens so I can't see what I'm doing. They last me about 3-4 months before I need a new set. They do get used everyday, do I guess thats not bad. The only con I ... read more can say is they are a little big for my small head. I guess if you have a normal size head you wont have a problem. I can't really wear them without tucking them into my Stihl baseball cap.

    excellent
I work in the tree service industry and one day I had these sunglasses drop of my head somwhere on the job and later found that they had been run over by the chip truck and the were in 3 pieces.. However I was able to put them back together without and glue or adhesive just snapped them back into place and still wear them to this day!
