    Worth the extra money
Very comfortable and works great! I've only had this helmet for three weeks now but already I'm sure I have saved my head and face from injuries. I have 43 acres of tillable ground surrounded by woods. I purchased the HT131 pole saw to cut back some of the overhanging trees. The face shield is easy to see through and does an excellent job of keeping the sawdust out of you face as well as protecting you from the brush. The helmet itself has protected my head from minor bumps as I've been dragging ... read more the cut limbs into the woods. The higher rated ear muffs are a plus when running my chain saws or operating my 4020. Overall I'm very pleased with this gear and would buy again if needed.

Excellent fit, outstanding protection, good value
I use this helmet with several Stihl tools (blower, pole saw, several chainsaws, weed eaters and when I'm using my chippers or log splitters). This helmet stays with you; look up, down or sideways and it doesn't fall over your nose. The screen works fabulously well and deflects wood chips, rocks and other debris with great success. While walking under huge Douglas fir trees I had a "widow maker" come down and hit me squarely on the helmet. The helmet deflected a heavy dead branch (about 4" ... read more diameter and maybe 18-20' long). Although the ear muff broke off, the helmet was fabulous; the branch was deflected to the side, I was completely uninjured, and if I can get a new muff, this is still a perfectly serviceable product. Yep, I keep these helmets available for people that work with me and they are required to wear them.

Great head/hearing protection for chainsaw users.
The STIHL PRO MARK Helmet system is an OUTSTANDING piece of PPE for the serious chainsaw user. I have several PRO MARKS that I use every time I'm in the woods or in the yard. You never know what can hit you from above! This helmet is of high quality and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this to everyone that uses a chainsaw from occasional user to professional.

    Perfect for home users
I got this in a package deal with chaps and safety glasses making it even a better value. It is great to have one piece of safety equipment to cover your head, eyes, and ears. You wont even notice the screen in the face shield, it is fine enough that you see clearly right through it. The ear muffs have almost infinite adjustability and swing back out of the way when you don't need them. The only thing it does not have it a ratchet adjustment system but that is why it is so affordable. After ... read more using this one time, you will never want to be out in the woods with your saw without it.

A Great Hardhat for the Occasional User
I got this as a part of the Woodcutter Kit when I first started using a chainsaw a few years back. So far, it has provided me great protection from getting scratched up by brush! The earmuffs work good, are adjustable, and swing back out of the way when you don't need them. They also work great to keep your ears warm in the cold! The suspension system is basic, but it works fine and is comfortable. The sweat band is a really nice feature for when it's hot out. It can be removed for washing or ... read more replacement. The face shield has been nice, and it is adjustable as well. Besides flipping up, it can slide forward or back and has three locking positions. The one thing I do not like about the face shield is that it is made of plastic. So far, it has been okay for keeping the brush out of my face. But someday, it may not be able to protect me from a serious hazard. When the time comes to replace this hardhat, I will get one that has a face shield that is made of steel mesh. Overall, I have been happy with this hardhat. It is a great option for the occasional user, and it is at a great price! Buy one, it may prevent future..........headaches!

Glad it was manditory to use when cutting.
I have had the Stilh helmet ever since I began doing Disaster Relief after Katrina. It has saved me from being hit in the head many times from falling branches and limbs that I and other have been cutting. The only problem I have is the sweat band needs to be replaced and I can not find it mentioned anywhere on Stihl's website.

    Wife loves them
Great safety glasses that look and feel good. Built sturdy. Wife really likes the way they fit and hold with the nose pads. Good for shooting as well. Highly recommended over boring, standard safety glasses.

    Highly Recommend
My Favorite pair of Saftey glasses. Not only do they look cool but they are a perfect fit so when I bend over or looking down or up they don't move around. Very light so they don't hurt or bother your head and nose guards are soft and nonslip I just love them!

I work in the tree service industry and one day I had these sunglasses drop of my head somwhere on the job and later found that they had been run over by the chip truck and the were in 3 pieces.. However I was able to put them back together without and glue or adhesive just snapped them back into place and still wear them to this day!

Thin but as usual, tough as nails
I keep harnesses, protective gear, spare clothes and small tools like wedges and one of the Stihl holstered hand saws in this along with my first aid kit, flares and small items I don't want to lose at the site. I bought the largest one and I'm not sorry I did. The full length zipper makes stowing and retrieving items easy as it opens up wide. It's not insulated or padded on the inside which is great and because of that, the bag is flexible as all get out and I can jam it into places where a ... read more hard sided case wouldn't fit or would bounce around. I wouldn't put a saw in here, well perhaps the smallest top handle one but it's not meant for that. It's meant to carry my helmets, gloves, chaps, boots, safety kit, rope, two full harnesses and a roll of paper towels and hand cleaner. All in all about twenty to twenty five pounds of gear with room for anything else you can think of. When I walk into the wood lot all I need is this bag, a saw, a can of gas. No more dropping things in the mud or making two trips.

    GREAT Harness Bag
I bought this to store or carry my FS-series Brushcutter/Clearing Saw harnesses. These Duffel Bags come in SMALL, MEDIUM, & LARGE sizes. See your Stihl dealer for dimensions. I had been storing my harnesses out in the open in my shop, but they became contaminated with sawdust, dirt, & spider webs. I had one chewed on by a mouse looking for nesting material! The SMALL bag will hold the Universal ADVANCE or Forestry ADVANCE (Double Shoulder) harnesses. Those harnesses deserve protection, ... read more because they are expensive. The bag also helps protect them from long-term UV-sunlight damage.
