To provide STIHL engines with the best possible power, we offer fuels and lubricants that are specially tailored to their requirements. STIHL develops and tests lubricants and fuels in its own laboratory.
STIHL FUELS: RELIABLE AND PRACTICAL
Petrol engines work best when they are supplied with high-quality fuels. With that in mind, STIHL has developed suitable fuels in-house. These have been extensively tested in labs and in outdoor use, and are continuously improved in collaboration with users. This is the only way to bring together all the necessary expertise to achieve the very best results for you, your tool and the environment. We refer to this principle as the STIHL Optimum System. Our range also includes fuels which contain biogenic rawmaterials. In these, a proportion of the raw materials used is derived from renewable sources.
HIGH-QUALITY LUBRICANTS REDUCE WEAR
Our engine oils, like our fuels, are precisely coordinated to our engines, supporting them to deliver high performance and longevity. STIHL chainlubricants also help with this, as they significantly reduce wear to the bar and saw chain. This range also includes environmentally friendly products (in accordance with OECD 301 B).
EASY TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
We offer suitable canisters for storing and transporting fuel, while combinationcanisters are suitable for both fuel and chain lubricant. Filling systems help with refuelling and prevent overfilling. Canisters and combination canisters from STIHL are available in various sizes.
