    Incredible Powerful Product
10 Stars out of a possible 5! Recently purchased my first Stihl Product, the Komi KM 131R. First Job, clear out dead vegetation and reeds. Tried the weed eater, line was gone in the first pass. Attached the FS-KM Brushcutter, incredible power, literally destroyed everything in its path! This tool was so powerful it startled me, and I've been performing yard maintenance for 35 years, at times professionally. I can't give this tool a high enough recommendation. I had burned through other ... read more name brand tools prior to this, all failed. Stihl is now my forever go-to tool.

    Don't play around any more.
I had the "P......" machine for several years. Had to work on it almost every time i needed it. Not any more. The KM 131 R has all the power necessary and more. With all the attachments I have, the machine will be used year round. The blower has enough power to remove gravel, snow and whatever is in its path. I decided after my friend let me use his machine, it was the one and only I was going to have. By using it all year, i dont have to worry about wintedizing any more. Starts fist pull every ... read more time. This is a good example of "you get what you pay for". You wont be disappointed.

    Great Power and Versatility
My first Kombi head was Homeowner KM56R that I bought over 20 years ago with trimmer attachment. I've added other attachments but with the straight stick edger, I had to use finesse to keep rpms up. I recently purchased the KM 131 R (same Stihl professional) It runs the edger effortlessly and now I can add any attachments that need more power. I still use the KM 56 for string trimming. Good fresh ethonol free fuel or Motomix will assure trouble free service for years just like all my Stihl saws ... read more and other products.

    Work Horse
So far I have cleared around 1500 feet of fence line, which includes 3' deep briar and small trees along with lots of brush. On the days I use this unit I average seven hours of usage time with a couple of breaks. I have several attachments for this unit, the brush cutter head, line trimmer and leaf blower. They are all work horses, the brush cutter head has a four blade grass blade and it mows through just about anything. Briar, thick grass, small sapling trees the diameter of a small finger. I ... read more have had the unit around two months now, it starts first pull every time. Make sure to read the starting instructions in the manual, this will ensure first pull start. The line trimmer handles the thick grass without a problem, and the leaf blower is better than a standard handheld blower. This unit is idea for any situation, I am impressed with the performance so far. One thing if you anticipate long periods of use, purchase the double shoulder harness.

    Great power head
This 91 power head is work horse. No matter what attachment I’ve run it powers through, trimmer, edger, tiller, pole saw. 1 small slight problem, it needed a slight adjustment to stay running. The factory setting on the carb was quite lean for emission reasons I’m sure. It would start, but like to die unless you feathered the throttle a bit till it was warm. I made a small 1/8 th inch turn on the L needle and haven’t had an issue since. I’ve used it almost everyday since I’ve bought it 3 weeks ago.

Starts right up every time, will idle all day long.. even upside down. Has more then enough power, never bogs down no matter how thick the brush. Easy to change attachments... would recommend to every one.

    Power and percision
Upon using this power head with the many tools that it is comatible with, I saw no issues with any lack of power. However with great power one must think it is uncontrollable but this could not be further from the truth. I was able to precisely edge, trim, and blow the yard. After edging and blowing 6 yards in the neighborhood, I used only half a tank of fuel which compared to my old system was great. I look forward to using this machine in the future and reapply the benifits it has brought.

    No throttle lock
We use the kombi system for edger, hedge trimmer, and pole saw on our lawncare. The new 111 do not have a throttle lock which is a major issue. When using the hedge trimmer on long hedges that are at eye level. You can no longer lock the throttle and place powerhead on shoulder and use 2 hands on d-ring.

    Dependable and Powerful
This Kombi system power head is very fast starting and powerful. I have paired it with the brush cutter and the straight shaft trimmer. The trimmer is very easy to use and the brush cutter works cutting thru brush up to about an inch thick with no strain on the engine.

    Typical reliability
I'm an avid Stihl user, because they have earned my respect with quality products. This is my first KM94 R. My go-to trimmer has been the FS110 and FS111R in the past and I got this for some lighter duty jobs and for the 135 articulating hedge trimmer. Besides the hedge trimmer, I've used string trimmer and brush blade on this power head. While it doesn't have quite the power that im use to, I found no bogging down and no issues with any of the attachments on any of the projects that I used it ... read more on. Ive cut hundreds of feet of hedges, moderate to thick brush in rural dense rows, and normal trimming with no problem. Biggest plus with this is the slightly lighter weight. I would buy again.

    Should have bought sooner
I've only had the unit about a month now but I regret not buying it when they first came out. It has more than enough power for trimming and doesn't bog in the big stuff. I've used FS-90s professionally and this feels like it has just as much power but in a light weight two stroke. It handles the blower attachment and pole saw very good too. The 94 needs about 2-3 minutes to get warmed up and get to full power but once it does, it's an absolute beast. It seems to be extremely fuel efficient ... read more too. Time will tell how it holds up but my experience with Stihl products has been nothing but excellent.

Perfect model for medium to medium-heavy use
Bought the KM 111R intially. After some research, and learning the difference between the two-stroke and four mix motors, I returned the 111 and opted for the 94R. Much, much easier to trim grass with the 94 over the 111. I have pruned trees with the pruner and even with the extension, it has enough power. I am very pleased with the 94R and have no doubt that it has enough power to do anything I would need. Unless you really think you will use the extra power, I don't see any reason to lug ... read more around the extra weight. Plus, I still like the two strokes
