    Incredible Powerful Product
10 Stars out of a possible 5! Recently purchased my first Stihl Product, the Komi KM 131R. First Job, clear out dead vegetation and reeds. Tried the weed eater, line was gone in the first pass. Attached the FS-KM Brushcutter, incredible power, literally destroyed everything in its path! This tool was so powerful it startled me, and I've been performing yard maintenance for 35 years, at times professionally. I can't give this tool a high enough recommendation. I had burned through other ... read more name brand tools prior to this, all failed. Stihl is now my forever go-to tool.

    Great Power and Versatility
My first Kombi head was Homeowner KM56R that I bought over 20 years ago with trimmer attachment. I've added other attachments but with the straight stick edger, I had to use finesse to keep rpms up. I recently purchased the KM 131 R (same Stihl professional) It runs the edger effortlessly and now I can add any attachments that need more power. I still use the KM 56 for string trimming. Good fresh ethonol free fuel or Motomix will assure trouble free service for years just like all my Stihl saws ... read more and other products.

Powerful enough for all Kombi uses
Very powerful compared to Kombi 94R I have been using. Used this one only a short time but it starts quickly and runs very well so far. The extra power makes a difference on the blade and pole saw attachments. In my experience with many STIHL products over the years, it’s worth it to upgrade to their professional line. They are hard to beat and most will outlast you if you maintain them as required. Do not use ethanol fuel!!!!!!!!! It destroys everything in time.

    Replacement for backpack blower
Bought this product because of the capability to use as pole saw and weedeater. When I was at the Stihl dealer, i asked about the backpack blowers and decided to go with the blower attachment for this product instead due to price. I live on 1.06 acres of mature trees. Got it out and blew all my leaves into a pile in the corner of my lot. This was well worth the money. Now I am going to give it some time and reply to this post letting you know when it breaks if it ever does so. Happy Customer!

Perfect model for medium to medium-heavy use
Bought the KM 111R intially. After some research, and learning the difference between the two-stroke and four mix motors, I returned the 111 and opted for the 94R. Much, much easier to trim grass with the 94 over the 111. I have pruned trees with the pruner and even with the extension, it has enough power. I am very pleased with the 94R and have no doubt that it has enough power to do anything I would need. Unless you really think you will use the extra power, I don't see any reason to lug ... read more around the extra weight. Plus, I still like the two strokes

    Get this one
I originally bought a KM-111R. Used it for about 10 minutes and brought it back. WAY to heavy for general trimming work, very awkward to trim grass with and did not like the 4 cycle engine. You can't hold the thing at a nice constant speed by feathering the throttle while trimming like a 2 stroke. Had the dealer order me a KM-94R and I'll never look back. Does a great job, plenty of power and lightweight. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time with the others, get the KM-94R. You won't regret it!

Excellent product for many lawn care tasks: edging, trimming, and hedge trimming. Professional quality for residential use is well worth the money.
Bought the Kombi system with 111 power head and it came with discount on trimmer attachment, so I upgraded to straight shaft for strongest gearbox. Also bought edger at same time. Used both for full season last year and just put on new trimmer line and edger blade for this year. Trimmer slices through very heavy grass and weeds, plenty of power to edge with ease, using one hand! Also bought adjustable hedge trimmer - works great!!

    Awesome tool!
I'm a homeowner and part time landscaper and I wish I would have bought this Kombi sooner. It's absolutely awesome. I've got the weed eater, pole prunner, edger, hedge trimmer and brush trimmer attachments. I've used them all and love them all. This motor and the attachments save so much space in my small shed and I can keep them locked up in my truck when going from job to job. I've only used Stihl Motomix or Trufuel and I've never had any problems starting it. Worth paying the extra money for ... read more the fuel. Don't hesitate to buy this Kombi, you'll be happy you did. My only regret is not buying it sooner!

    Work Horse
So far I have cleared around 1500 feet of fence line, which includes 3' deep briar and small trees along with lots of brush. On the days I use this unit I average seven hours of usage time with a couple of breaks. I have several attachments for this unit, the brush cutter head, line trimmer and leaf blower. They are all work horses, the brush cutter head has a four blade grass blade and it mows through just about anything. Briar, thick grass, small sapling trees the diameter of a small finger. I ... read more have had the unit around two months now, it starts first pull every time. Make sure to read the starting instructions in the manual, this will ensure first pull start. The line trimmer handles the thick grass without a problem, and the leaf blower is better than a standard handheld blower. This unit is idea for any situation, I am impressed with the performance so far. One thing if you anticipate long periods of use, purchase the double shoulder harness.

    Good Value
The Kombi 91 Starts easy, has plenty of power and runs really well. It seems a little heavy for its size.

    Perfect except for attachments
The power head is amazing. Even the lowest powered pro version has plenty of power for the pole saw plus two extensions, ( the extensions suck up power like crazy). My only complaints are for the attachments, more spicificly the dang plastic clip used to retain the shaft on all of there attachments, broke two of them, one on my straight shaft edger and one of my brush clearing attachment. MAKE IMPROVEMENTS STIHL. Still a Stihl man till I die ;)
