FS-KM Brushcutter with 4 Tooth Grass Blade
FS-KM Brushcutter with 4 Tooth Grass Blade is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Piece of equipment for short duration jobs. I have 5 acres which requires spot clearing throughout the year. The power of the cutting attachment depends on the head you use it with. There is a huge vibration when using it...even from just starting it so you will need some gloves which help relieve the vibration. The vibration makes it so you have to keep reinserting the attachment into the drive head. This is good for exactly what it was made for...a quick change piece of yard equipment that is needed for small area beautification.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations I bought this attachment with a 130R to cut Manzanita, and small new growth oak, fir, and cedar trees. It tackled everything with no problem, even cutting material over 1 1/2" in diameter. It's new so I don't know how long it will hold up, but so far, so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is the best thing that was ever made. Purchased this product when I purchased the KM 130 R Kombi System .Also purchased the HT-Km pole pruner, the FS-KM Line head trimmer, The HL-KM 135 degree Adjustable Hedge trimmer .And the PP 600 telescoping pole. I will give them all a rating of excellent. They work great. The are easy to attach and make short work on everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Attachment Originally bought KM 55 powerhead with straight shaft trimmer 20 years ago. When I needed a blade attachment last year, I returned to Reynolds in Fishers, Indiana. The salesman who helped me with original purchase still had record of my purchase and recommended this blade. Works awesome on tall weeds and brush. Can't say enough about the professionalism of independent Stihl dealers. Go to big box stores for insulation and drywall. For quality tools to last, Stihl dealer is the only way to go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great product from Sihl Great addition to my KombiSystem. I have a KM55 powerhead and it has plenty of power to do the job. Although this combo is a tad bit tiresome after use. Overall I've accomplished what I needed to do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke on first use. Dealer unable/unwilling to help I have many Stihl products and have been very satisfied using them on our small horse farm. This unit broke on first use where the attachment inserts on the combi tool. It was just a piece of plastic. I went to dealer (Ace Hardware at Crossroads in Bellevue, WA) and was informed they didn't have the part. I then suggested a return as it was new. No returns as the store is closing Aug 3 so they don't care

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally I am ahead of the brush I was so tired of my yard winning. I have two acres and its a constant battle with vines, holly, weeds, you name it. I'm in a suburb so I leave it partially go, but it quickly becomes completely overgrown and an eyesore, and I was just sick of spending one weekend after another fighting the growth and just falling behind. I bought the Kombi system (blower, trimmer, brush cutter, extension arm, pole pruner, hedge trimmer), and I absolutely love this system. I love Stihl's reliability and power, but I can't believe how useful this concept is. How often have you been working in the yard and used the wrong tool because getting set up properly and converted over would take to long so you "cheat"? Me too. With this system you can change out components in 15 seconds and they all work great. I almost bought a traditional trimmer with attachments that you have to manually switch over using tools, and am so glad I have this because, again, I don't want to spend time messing with equipment. Specifically, this 4 "tooth" blade whips through brush up to 3/4" thick no problem, to be cliché- like a hot knife through butter. It's much better than a traditional tractor mounted brush cutter because not only is it infinitely cheaper, but also more maneuverable so you can also work around stumps, logs hidden by overgrowth, troughs, and other obstacles that can cause serious damage to a tractor or hang you up. If there is a downside, I'd say that this is for limited acreage, its like a trimmer for brush. If you have a huge area to clear then you would have to go to a tractor mounted system or something more substantial. But if you stay at it with this thing, its amazing how fast you can clear an area.
