Rated 4 out of 5 by from Right now its average The price point was ok. I do think the attachments should be less after the first purchase. I do like the versatility and being able get full use. Not sure about dependability yet still new . The blade that came with it is not good at all so I bought the multi tooth blade which works much better. I have other STHIL products and it is a good compliment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great to have, not easy to install nor maintain. Stihl km kombi system has the power but the weak link is the spot where the engine attaches to the attachment. The plastic moves and breaks. I had the exho pas system, and that one lined in place, a spring loaded push button keeps it in line / straight. With stihl, it merely slides in, and the thick metal is trying to clamp on the plastic slider on the aluminum tube that does not stay steady when in use, if you can slide it in properly without putting the number of the head on the ground. I dont find that to be easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from totally awesome - too much fun. have a KM 91 R with 3 point cutter tool... destroys black/salmon berry, and 1/4" dia easy up to 1/2" harder wood with muscle. I think if I had one of the more circular saw type blades I could cut the 1/2" and up saplings ++super easy++.IMHO... you want a good shoulder harness. The bruchcutter can work hard.wear safety glasses, it spits, which means it works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to my KombiSystem set of Tools Great deal to purchase as a whole new attachment, it comes with the 4 tooth grass blade, grass guard and a cover to protect the blade. I now have the FS-KM Line Head Trimmer, FS-KM Brushcutter with circular saw Scratcher Tooth Blade and this FS-KM Brushcutter with 4 Tooth Grass Blade. With a quick change I can now use the right tool to cut grass/weeds/sm bushes that grow near the canal behind my house. The only reason I rated it a 4 was that I needed to sharpen the blade after my first use as it was pushing some of the grass and not cutting it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting blackberries and Scotch Broom When I purchased this attachment I also bought the wicked brush cutter blade, then started in on inch thick Scotch Broom trunks as well as monster blackberry stalks. It not only buzzed thru them it also easily cut the remnants into manageable chunks. This is well served for the exact purpose I bought it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small brush and saplings beware I was always a skeptic when it came to combination tools - I felt like you were giving up performance for the convenience of cost and space savings. Well STIHL made a believer out of me and proved you can have the best of both worlds. I have the KM 94 R powerhead and 5 attachments, including the FS-KM Brushcutter I am reviewing here.I have not experienced any vibration issues mentioned by other reviewers and believe it would simply be a blade installation issue - when you consider the blade weight combined with the high RPMs, balance is critical. Fortunately STIHL makes it easy to disassemble and align it again. I would recommend having your local dealer do it with you to ensure proper balance.I've been using this brushcutter for about 4 months now to help maintain 12 acres, specifically the areas where a mower or brush hog can't access. I haven't used the shoulder strap that comes with it, but instead went with the STIHL forestry vest to help distribute the weight across both shoulders. With the vest, I can go hours without fatigue and swap between the string trimmer as I go. Make sure you are wearing eye protection for any of the cutter and trimmer attachments as it can throw stuff back at you, depending on what you are cutting. Like any trimmer out there, the guard doesn't doesn't catch it all.It takes a few seconds to get to max RPMs with the cutter, but once you're moving, it does a fantastic job with vines, tree saplings, thorn bushes, etc. I use the string trimmer for smaller grasses and weeds as it is more effective and efficient, however the heavier mess is for the brushcutter and it does the job well! It's another solid purchase for me and I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great So far this works great. I also bought the trimmer head for cutting grass with this same unit and it works pretty good. It throws a lot of grass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bought a whole set of tools and absolutely love how much I can interchange. Rather than having a multitude of different engines I only have a need for one! The quality was amazing and the salesperson at Rural King in Highland was AMAZING!Can't wait to purchase some more STIHL equpment
