    Time saver
Works well as long as the soil is neither wet or too dry. When damp, the tool clogs and has to have the soil removed from the housing every six inches or so. If the soil has a lot of clay and is very dry the blade fails to cut to the full depth. If soil conditions are just right it works great and beats using a shovel as I have done in the past.

    This is a great tool
I have most of the tools to fit the KombiSystem and by far this on is the most rewarding. The job it does is hard to believe and with ease. I should have bought this sooner but thought it was expensive for an edger. I'm hear to tell, you won't be disappointed. I would recommend it to everyone.

    Very easy to use
I have recently bought this unit for my landscaping. I normally have to rent a bed edger, and my local dealer told me about this great little tool. What took me about 4 hours to do, took me only about 30-45 minutes. Very easy to use, doesn't throw the dirt like the rented bed edger. The only drawback was that it really didn't dress the side of the edge with grass over hanging. After I cut the edges, I just took my other edger with the metal blade and dressed the edges. Than followed with my ... read more blower to diffuse the grass and extra dirt on the edges. This edge redefiner will save me lots of time with my customers. This is a must needed tool if you do a lot of edging. I use this head with my FS250.

No more ladders, less risk of falling
With this shaft extension, I don't have to climb on my tall 8 foot ladder anymore and risk injury from falling. I can keep balance and mobility with both my feet on the ground while reaching the higher hard-to-get-to spots. I use this with the HL-KM 135 adjustable hedge trimmer along with the KM 90 R powerhead and it works great! I must admit, it can get a little heavy after awhile, but that is what rest breaks are for. I compared the more expensive carbon fiber shaft extension to this one, ... read more there is not that much difference in the weight when you operating it with HL-KM 135 (they both get pretty heavy after holding it awhile). At least not enough to justify spending twice the amount on the lighter version.

Works great all around trimming bushes, brush, and even trees
It really is a great all around product. It will easily cut through pencil thick branches or brush like it is nothing. You can pretty easily cut 3/8" think material. I have even used it to cut through larger than 1/2" thick pieces. The larger pieces just take a few seconds. It works great for cutting everything from grass to brush and even small trees. It doesn't throw debris even an inch which is nice if you are working around other people or mulch beds. The edges are very sharp. Even after ... read more several hours of use trimming trees cutting grass looks like you used scissors. It did an amazing job on my neighbors out of control multifloral rose bushes that are 7' tall and 60 feet long. The angle adjustments are quick and easy to use. Changing positions can be done without clipping the harness in 2 seconds. It is possibly to adjust the angle further towards 90 degrees than there are positions for. The first time I did this accidentally when I started trimming again there was a slight gear whining sound. I stopped to check what was causing it and found that I had adjusted it past the first position. No damage was done though. I highly recommended it. The only reason I would see to get the adjustable hedge trimmer attachment over this is if you had lots of evergreen hedges to cut and wanted the cutting edge to reach across the entire hedge in once pass. For anything else I think you'll be happier with the power scythe over the hedge trimmer.

    Gets the job done.
We have a half acre with radom vegitation from neighbors. The briars were over my head, so using loppers means wearing the pickery stalks that I cut. The power scythe cut those stalks and none of them could reach me when they fell. The 3foot tall grass that would get wound up on a weed eater was sheared off like a barber did the job. Fruit tree suckers and leveling the tree umbrella was a snap. The unit works upside down until you rub the kill switch against your hip. The only two problems I ran ... read more into the scythe will cut a wire fence and it will pick up a small rock. When it does, the reminder is a dinged blade. Even so the tool continued to operate as though it was just another weed or twig. When I was done, after 4 tanks of gas, I was not all green as the weed eater would leave me. Also i could hardly get through one tank of gas on the weed eater because of the vibration. One more time Stihl proves they have the right stuff. It is a might heavy so I bought the shoulder harness, it is not to heavy now.

    Give your rake away
I had looked at these for years. I decided totals the plunge and buy one this spring. I clean up around 750 feet of driveway between 3 properties. Snow plowing puts lots of gravel and stone in these drives. It used to mean 6-7 hours of raking each spring. The power paddle let me push the material right into my loader bucket. It only took me around 3 hours and it did a much better job than raking, without hurting the grass a bit. I bought my unit with a KM 130 engine. It is a heavy piece of ... read more equipment, but it does a heavy duty job.

Excellent for thick turf; does not damage the lawn
I purchased this PowerSweep for one primary purpose, to clear nuts and gumballs out of my lawn. I have three very large oak trees and a large gumball tree on a half-acre yard and every year I am left with thousands of acorns and gumballs in my grass, mixed with the pine needles from my neighbors. Raking was tiresome and backbreaking and usually did more dethatching of my St. Augustine lawn and left it thin. I paired the PowerSweep with a KM 131 R for the possibility of future expansion and have ... read more not been disappointed. The paddles move through the grass and pick up even the smallest of debris leaving my lawn clean and intact. This works best if you get to the acorns before they sprout, but after a second pass, the PowerSweep picks up a majority of the sprouted ones too. Using this tool is a bit of a workout, but as long as you let the tool do the work and don't try to fight it, it is no more tiresome than raking for three time as long. While this was a large investment for a single original purpose, I have since picked up the aerator blades and cultivator blades and put them to good use without having to purchase a new attachment.

Works suprisingly well without damaging grass but expensive
I know it is hard to get past the sticker shock. It took me a few months and I almost put it back. I am glad I bought it though. It does work great. It is really pretty amazing the amount of debris it will remove from grass with little to no damage to the grass. Where this really shines is removing sand, cinders, and rocks from your grass which is especially a problem in the north after a long winter. For this task there is truly no better product. A leaf rake does a mediocre job and gets ... read more tiring. A leaf blower does a little better job but after a long winter sometimes the stone, sand, and cinders have started to become part of the ground. This product also works very well on pine cones, pine needles, wood chips, mulch, and leaves on grass. It also works well on concrete and asphalt to remove mud, rocks, and sand. It is heavy but it isn't to tiring using. Where you really notice the weight is carrying it between areas you want to use it but it is manageable. I think using a rake is more exhausting. The rubber paddles have held up better than expected. After 4 hours of use on concrete and asphalt there is very little noticeable wear.

    Super Durable and Great Price
Got this attachment plus the trimmer head when I purchased the Kombi System. I was used to using an Echo edger with a curved shaft. After my Echo gave me a lot of trouble and eventually died, I purchased this system. I can interchangeably pop one tool on and then the other on. This tool is sturdy and never bogs down. I would HIGHLY recommend it to others!!

    straightline fast edger
I had years of growth over the edge of my sidewalks...this straight shaft edger made this job so simple..fast...and easy as well! This is a must have if you have side walks and grass on one side of them...you won't regret this and purchase the km-130r head...its so powerful and won't bog down!

    Excellent
Use this on the property I manage for the artificial golf green. Referred to as a power broom, it does what it says. Great for in-fill, daily cleaning, and removing moss/fungus from the turf. Green is spotless after one pass. I couldn't believe how well it worked. Has quick release pins for changing/cleaning bristles, very nice feature. I run it on a 130r, has enough power to make me catch my balance when I'm not holding it right. Can't get it to bog down no matter how hard I try. It is heavy ... read more and a little awkward at first.

Power Brush with so many uses
I got this brush with a 110 power head for synthetic turf installations. It is the absolute best available for that purpose but have since found so many other uses! First and foremost, to use on synthetic turf or to power rake or de-thatch living grass, you must remove the guard (I'm not sure why it is needed in any application, lawyers probably just wanted one) and connect it to the power head "upside down." This spins the brush in reverse so it now floats on the surface causing perfect ... read more distribution of infill for turf and causes no harm to living grass while removing everything, thatch, sticks, mulch, anything not rooted. Note that you are now "pulling" the brush. Again its floating so practically weightless in operation. Also we've learned to feather the throttle to "walk it" forward along the surface so the shoulder strap is unnecessary (and now lost) for either of these applications. As for "normal" or right side up applications, it is a bit heavy and has a learning curve in this "push" mode but works better than a pressure washer to clean the dust from my rock piles from any hard surface. I also use it for snow removal. For any dry snow storm up to six inches or wet snow under three inches, it is faster for sidewalks than three guys with shovels. And unlike ATVs goes anywhere. It is not that effective with deep or wet snow however.
