    Real Time saver
I am a homeowner with over 2,000 ft of bed edges. Over time erosion and frequent rain can flatten or fill in the edges of flower beds allowing grass to migrate into the mulch. The Bed Redefiner allows for frequent dressing of the edge without using a shovel or the need to remove dirt or excess mulch. It is simple to use and saves time by cutting a nice edge and pulverizing the excess dirt. When redressing a edge that has been mulched, this tool creates a nice groove and allows the mulch to fall ... read more back to the edge without the need for excessive raking. I suggest running an edger to create a defined cut through the grass and then run the redefined following this newly cut line. I get perfect results using this method.

    Surprisingly great
Works better than expected. Cuts nice clean edge around bed. Powered just fine with my 90. Just make sure yard is dry.

Awesome product - works very well
The bed redefiner works awesome! I use this on my KM130R and it does a vey good job. Surprisingly it chews thru almost everything including rocks. Obviously you want to avoid rocks if you can but this unit has no trouble plucking them out of the bed edge. One drawback is the fact that although the redefiner digs a nice bed edge, it rips or folds the grass on the bed edge into the area where it is edging. As a result, after I do all my beds, I go out with the string trimmer and run it on its side ... read more to cut the folded/ripped grass that's overlapping the edge. This helps to get the crisp, manicured look we desire. I wouldn't want to run this unit without the KM130R power head as it is power hungry. You could probably get away using this on the KM110R but definitely not the KM90R.

excellent product that saves you money in the long run
I have about 20 trees that need trimming every year. getting it done professionally would be cost prohibitive. And 20 trees is too much work for a consumer grade pole system. With this attachment, I can reach as high as I need to go. any higher and I should call someone with a bucket truck or a tree climber.

No more ladders, less risk of falling
With this shaft extension, I don't have to climb on my tall 8 foot ladder anymore and risk injury from falling. I can keep balance and mobility with both my feet on the ground while reaching the higher hard-to-get-to spots. I use this with the HL-KM 135 adjustable hedge trimmer along with the KM 90 R powerhead and it works great! I must admit, it can get a little heavy after awhile, but that is what rest breaks are for. I compared the more expensive carbon fiber shaft extension to this one, ... read more there is not that much difference in the weight when you operating it with HL-KM 135 (they both get pretty heavy after holding it awhile). At least not enough to justify spending twice the amount on the lighter version.

    Must have with saw attachment
I purchased a km 130 last year with trimmer head blower and pole saw attachment I have been very pleased with all of it thanks stihl for excellent quality and power. Recently I was needing to cut some limbs that were a little out of my reach so I ran to the local hardware store and looked at extensions they have two options this extension and a light weight version at nearly double the price. I went weigh the less expense because to me the couple pounds less weight wasn't with the money. This ... read more extension and the saw are two feet shorter than stills extendable pole saw but is much cheaper and can be taken off and the kombi unit used for many other projects if anyone needs to know the adjustable saw is 13ft overall length and the km 130 with extension and saw is 11ft but for the versatility and mint savings I think I can dig out my step stool if I need two more feet

Great for keeping steep hillsides trimmed
Using to steep hillside trimmed. Have not found and easier way and I have been looking. A workhorse. Could be lighter, but I will trade the extra strength and durability for weight. I like equipment that works when I pull the cord and this does. Based on my positive experience that I have had with other Stihl Equipment I expect this to keep my hillsides clear for years.

This adjustable hedger is well constructed
I have a large yard with a lot of landscaping, and trtimming all of our bushes and shrubs is a 2 day job. But after using the HL-KM135 adjustable, I was able to finish the job in one day witthout the use of a ladder for all of our holly tress. Our place looks great and the adjustment to the hedger was painless. This is a real quality product and it was nice to see Stihl had done there homework on this product. I would give this product an A+. Thanks Stihl for a nice tool.

    This is an excellent trimmer.
I originally bought this trimmer to trim the grass around the pond since it has a 3 foot steep bank. It worked great for this task but I have found I am constantly using it to trim the hedges and trees. It is easy to use and easy to handle. I have a 9 foot hedge around the yard and I can keep it manicured with this trimmer. Very pleased with the unit.

    Excellent
Use this n the property I manage for removing ground vines, mertle, ivy, and turning under small weeds in different beds. Best feature is the quick release tine, 1 pin and both blade come off 1 side, also has a feature to install 1 to 4 of the blades and run it like that. All blades a separate, very easy to clean/untangle. Works great on ivy, stick it in, it balls it all up on the head, pull the pins, throw the vines in the trash, repeat.

the yard boss is the boss
this tool is high quality but if your going to do a lot of tilling the two handles on the other one would be much easier to control. i have a similar mini till with 2 handles and it is much less stress on the back . but i use this too and have a couple other tillers. but i am a landscaper so i got everything. see if you could find a dealer that would let you test it.

Heavy duty tool that really tears up dirt
I was a little worried that this cultivator would not have enough power and that I might need a mantis or yard boss type system, but it handles hard packed dirt with ease. I was impressed at how it digs into the ground, hardly any bouncing around on top of the soil. The thing that really surprised me was when I hit some roots. I know this is not what the tool is designed to handle, but at full speed with my KM110R unit it ripped the roots (1" thick) right out of the ground and threw them 5 feet ... read more forward. The area I was cultivating was once home to a large bush so this happened many times. Only once did the unit bind and I had to unhook it from a thick root which on the next attempt tore it out. It is a solid unit, like everything that Stihl makes, and I am very satisfied with it.

    Perfect Limb Trimmer
Purchased to trim fence tree line. Great for trimming limbs up to four inches. I no longer climb a ladder with a chain running in hand. Now it is as easy as reaching and cutting. Safety is important and now I can safety cut all tree limbs up to 12 feet of the ground. I would high recommend this attachment for the STIHL KombiSystem.

    Awesome Attachment
This attachment works great with my KM130R power head. It slices right through any branch I put it to. Not only does it work great at pruning limbs, big or small, it also works well when they are on the ground. That way you don't need to bend over to cut them up into smaller pieces! I noticed that it leaked B&C oil. Not sure If it was the cap, from being in the hot garage attic, or both. Either way, if you empty the oil reservoir the problem goes away. Other than that, this is yet another great ... read more tool that makes my Kombimotor all the more versatile! P.S. The only thing that would make this tool better is if you could adjust the angle of the cutter head. This would make pruning even easier and probably safer as well.

    tough as steel
This saw is great. I've been using it for Palm trees in the neighborhood. Then I took it to hunting camp. Spent a 2 weekends cutting. Cutting oak, hickory, gum,red oak, white oak you name it it probably got cut. It's a great product. Just let it do the cutting. I've had it 2 years now.

Power Brush with so many uses
I got this brush with a 110 power head for synthetic turf installations. It is the absolute best available for that purpose but have since found so many other uses! First and foremost, to use on synthetic turf or to power rake or de-thatch living grass, you must remove the guard (I'm not sure why it is needed in any application, lawyers probably just wanted one) and connect it to the power head "upside down." This spins the brush in reverse so it now floats on the surface causing perfect ... read more distribution of infill for turf and causes no harm to living grass while removing everything, thatch, sticks, mulch, anything not rooted. Note that you are now "pulling" the brush. Again its floating so practically weightless in operation. Also we've learned to feather the throttle to "walk it" forward along the surface so the shoulder strap is unnecessary (and now lost) for either of these applications. As for "normal" or right side up applications, it is a bit heavy and has a learning curve in this "push" mode but works better than a pressure washer to clean the dust from my rock piles from any hard surface. I also use it for snow removal. For any dry snow storm up to six inches or wet snow under three inches, it is faster for sidewalks than three guys with shovels. And unlike ATVs goes anywhere. It is not that effective with deep or wet snow however.

    Awesome addition
I saved myself some money and purchased the bristle kit as I already had the powerbroom attachment. I love the power broom. It seems I will like this unit just as much. Great for sidewalks, polebarn, sand out of grass, and even filling holes in a gravel driveway. I did find that with the 90r powerhead the unit does bog down quite a bit. I will solve this problem with my future purchase of a 130 powerhead
