excellent product that saves you money in the long run
I have about 20 trees that need trimming every year. getting it done professionally would be cost prohibitive. And 20 trees is too much work for a consumer grade pole system. With this attachment, I can reach as high as I need to go. any higher and I should call someone with a bucket truck or a tree climber.

    Must have with saw attachment
I purchased a km 130 last year with trimmer head blower and pole saw attachment I have been very pleased with all of it thanks stihl for excellent quality and power. Recently I was needing to cut some limbs that were a little out of my reach so I ran to the local hardware store and looked at extensions they have two options this extension and a light weight version at nearly double the price. I went weigh the less expense because to me the couple pounds less weight wasn't with the money. This ... read more extension and the saw are two feet shorter than stills extendable pole saw but is much cheaper and can be taken off and the kombi unit used for many other projects if anyone needs to know the adjustable saw is 13ft overall length and the km 130 with extension and saw is 11ft but for the versatility and mint savings I think I can dig out my step stool if I need two more feet

No more ladders, less risk of falling
With this shaft extension, I don't have to climb on my tall 8 foot ladder anymore and risk injury from falling. I can keep balance and mobility with both my feet on the ground while reaching the higher hard-to-get-to spots. I use this with the HL-KM 135 adjustable hedge trimmer along with the KM 90 R powerhead and it works great! I must admit, it can get a little heavy after awhile, but that is what rest breaks are for. I compared the more expensive carbon fiber shaft extension to this one, ... read more there is not that much difference in the weight when you operating it with HL-KM 135 (they both get pretty heavy after holding it awhile). At least not enough to justify spending twice the amount on the lighter version.

Power Brush with so many uses
I got this brush with a 110 power head for synthetic turf installations. It is the absolute best available for that purpose but have since found so many other uses! First and foremost, to use on synthetic turf or to power rake or de-thatch living grass, you must remove the guard (I'm not sure why it is needed in any application, lawyers probably just wanted one) and connect it to the power head "upside down." This spins the brush in reverse so it now floats on the surface causing perfect ... read more distribution of infill for turf and causes no harm to living grass while removing everything, thatch, sticks, mulch, anything not rooted. Note that you are now "pulling" the brush. Again its floating so practically weightless in operation. Also we've learned to feather the throttle to "walk it" forward along the surface so the shoulder strap is unnecessary (and now lost) for either of these applications. As for "normal" or right side up applications, it is a bit heavy and has a learning curve in this "push" mode but works better than a pressure washer to clean the dust from my rock piles from any hard surface. I also use it for snow removal. For any dry snow storm up to six inches or wet snow under three inches, it is faster for sidewalks than three guys with shovels. And unlike ATVs goes anywhere. It is not that effective with deep or wet snow however.

    Excellent
Use this on the property I manage for the artificial golf green. Referred to as a power broom, it does what it says. Great for in-fill, daily cleaning, and removing moss/fungus from the turf. Green is spotless after one pass. I couldn't believe how well it worked. Has quick release pins for changing/cleaning bristles, very nice feature. I run it on a 130r, has enough power to make me catch my balance when I'm not holding it right. Can't get it to bog down no matter how hard I try. It is heavy ... read more and a little awkward at first.

    Awesome addition
I saved myself some money and purchased the bristle kit as I already had the powerbroom attachment. I love the power broom. It seems I will like this unit just as much. Great for sidewalks, polebarn, sand out of grass, and even filling holes in a gravel driveway. I did find that with the 90r powerhead the unit does bog down quite a bit. I will solve this problem with my future purchase of a 130 powerhead

    Pure GREATNESS!
I was up in VT clearing brush and I put the saw blade on for thicker brush and I was cutting trees 10-14 inches around down with ease. Great piece if machinary!

    Exceeded expectations
I bought this attachment with a 130R to cut Manzanita, and small new growth oak, fir, and cedar trees. It tackled everything with no problem, even cutting material over 1 1/2" in diameter. It's new so I don't know how long it will hold up, but so far, so good.

    Time saver
Works well as long as the soil is neither wet or too dry. When damp, the tool clogs and has to have the soil removed from the housing every six inches or so. If the soil has a lot of clay and is very dry the blade fails to cut to the full depth. If soil conditions are just right it works great and beats using a shovel as I have done in the past.

    Great Bed edger!
I have had the bed redefiner for 1 month now. It was challenging at first to get use to the fact of going in reverse, but you will get the hang of it quickly. We use this unit on all of our properties now. Our customers love what it does and how much better it makes their beds look. I would recomend this to anyone in the landscaping industry or even to the homeowner who loves to do yard work and is proud of their final product.

    Very easy to use
I have recently bought this unit for my landscaping. I normally have to rent a bed edger, and my local dealer told me about this great little tool. What took me about 4 hours to do, took me only about 30-45 minutes. Very easy to use, doesn't throw the dirt like the rented bed edger. The only drawback was that it really didn't dress the side of the edge with grass over hanging. After I cut the edges, I just took my other edger with the metal blade and dressed the edges. Than followed with my ... read more blower to diffuse the grass and extra dirt on the edges. This edge redefiner will save me lots of time with my customers. This is a must needed tool if you do a lot of edging. I use this head with my FS250.

    Engineer An Adjustable Angle Version
Works well for 1" - 2" diameter branches but be careful with larger higher branches with inability to undercut a horizontal without an adjustable head. The limb tends to hinge and fall toward operator because the diagonal under and over cut. Definitely recommend this design as-is for some jobs because less moving parts equals less problems. However, I am hoping the stellar engineering department at STIHL combines the adjustability in their 135 degrees HL-KM hedge trims with a chainsaw head for ... read more the larger higher reach limbs. I will definitely buy it IF they read this and decide they want to market it. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thank you in advance.

    Better than a small chainsaw
I have used mine several years and it has been more than expected. I use it on trails, around deer stands and I cut a lot more than I should. If you need trails trimmed and maintained, this is a "no brainer". Keep oil in it and a sharp blade and you will be happy. Stihl is a constant in quality.

Perfect for those branchs a bit to far away
We purchased a piece of property which has hundreds of trees ranging from invasive Buckthorn to 10 ' around hardwoods. This head is awesome for getting to the higher branches which is much harder with a ladder and chainsaw. even works good cutting up branches on the ground. It is also easy enough to get on a 10 ' ladder and reach even higher. I have cut 12" branches with no issue. I also purchased the Carbon fiber Shaft extension to give me that extra 3 foot reach which works wonders. I have a ... read more KM130 and feel that the smaller motor may struggle on the thicker branches. Keep the blade sharp and cut some wood.

    Wow!
With my km 130 this attachment is a must have. If you lock in the unit at the normal speed and run into a tough patch add additional power by squeezing the trigger and it'll power right through it.

    Revitalized my KM 55 R
I have an older Kombi KM 55 R from around 2011. When I bought it I also bought the curved edger attachment (The older silver model). I live in FL and have a pretty established yard of St. Augustine with at least a 3 inch pile. I wrestled with the curved edger for years while it bogged down and bounced all over the place. This year I had had it. I contemplated just buying a whole new stand-alone edger but figured I'd give this a shot first. Let me say that I actually *enjoyed* edging for the ... read more first time in years. It tore through all the problem areas that would normally kill the engine of my KM 55 R. It is a little expensive but it's worlds apart from the silver versions IMO. Be sure the model you get is the one with orange blade guard.

    Amazing Attachment
I had a consumer version of this from another manufacturer. I would only edge once each year because it took so long and was always a fight. It's April and I've used this twice already. I can edge my driveway in about ten minutes with the KM 90 and the FCS-KM. The setup is powerful and never hesitates to do its job.
