    The Best Homeowner Multi-Tool
I bought this power head along with an edger, leaf blower, curved-shaft trimmer, tree trimmer, and hedge trimmer. It always starts first pull with a few pushes on the primer. The throttle response is amazing. It is also very light for its power output, which is nice if you do a lot of trimming. Plus, it is easy to service, change attachments, and doesn't take up a lot of space. I can trim with this for 2 hours without a harness and still keep going. Even though its a homeowner model, I have done ... read more lots of work for different people with it. Overall, a great purchase for anyone looking to do major work around their home.

    Don't bother with bargain brands.
This is the real deal folks. My mom's bargain brand trimmer finally bit the dust. Felt guilty just ditching it while it was still running. Eyed this one online and at the local dealerl as its replacement. Its been a very good purchase. The power is great, it feeds line like a champ. I picked up the blower and edger and I'll review those also. So far its been good on gas and is so easy to start. I've even restarted it while in the shoulder strap over my right shoulder, pulling the line with my left arm.

    Great Product
I love using the Kombi. I only have the string trimmer portion currently and will be adding a few more pieces over the next year. I have used it 5-6 times so far, it starts reliably, runs smooth and has great power. I haven't had to use full throttle at all. I use it along a 350 foot fence on both sides and the rest of my property, about 1/3 acre and has reduced my trimming time in half. I checked other makers and to get the same power required a 50% price increase. I anticipate this engine will ... read more provide all the power I need.

    Great product
I've had the easy spool on my trimmer for a couple years now and I love it. I'm wondering if people are letting the head ride on the ground constantly which would create friction in the head and in turn melt the line. I just run my trimmer about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and it cuts everything like butter and the line lasts a lot longer. As far as loading the head, you cut two 3' pieces of line stick them in the holes and twist it untill they are both wound up in the head. I guess that may be pretty ... read more difficult for some people to comprehend but whatever. I love it and I will make sure it's on my next trimmer if I ever have to replace this one!

    Overall a good product
Good trimmer but my wire does not feed. I have to stop and advance the wire.

    could be better
As with all Stihl products, the multi-task trimmer is a good quality product. It is reliable in every way except a couple of things that are common among string trimmers. The string breaks off inside the housing too often and it is a hassel to constantly be stopping to re-thread the string back through the housing holes. The other part that frustrates me is the method of advancing the string by bouncing it on the ground. It just doesn't work very well. I end up having to bounce several times it ... read more seems to get the string to advance. Otherwise I would still rate it better than my old brand of trimmer.

If you're thinking of purchasing this pruner, go and sell your 16" or smaller chainsaw. You no longer need it.
I bought this attachment a couple of months ago to clean up some ice storm damaged limbs, and as of now It is my second most used attachment on the heels of the line trimmer. It's a little heavier than a standard chainsaw, but so much more useful. Be careful not to get the bar in a bind with a larger power head as you can smoke the clutch.

Perfect for those branchs a bit to far away
We purchased a piece of property which has hundreds of trees ranging from invasive Buckthorn to 10 ' around hardwoods. This head is awesome for getting to the higher branches which is much harder with a ladder and chainsaw. even works good cutting up branches on the ground. It is also easy enough to get on a 10 ' ladder and reach even higher. I have cut 12" branches with no issue. I also purchased the Carbon fiber Shaft extension to give me that extra 3 foot reach which works wonders. I have a ... read more KM130 and feel that the smaller motor may struggle on the thicker branches. Keep the blade sharp and cut some wood.

If you want to cut from afar, this tool is fantastic!
I had to trim some locusts trees and you know what that mean! Stickers that hurt! I used this tool to trim up the branches and did not end up looking like a well used pin cushion. I will say, with the extension, it's pretty heavy on the end so you have to pay close attention to what you're doing.

Power Brush with so many uses
I got this brush with a 110 power head for synthetic turf installations. It is the absolute best available for that purpose but have since found so many other uses! First and foremost, to use on synthetic turf or to power rake or de-thatch living grass, you must remove the guard (I'm not sure why it is needed in any application, lawyers probably just wanted one) and connect it to the power head "upside down." This spins the brush in reverse so it now floats on the surface causing perfect ... read more distribution of infill for turf and causes no harm to living grass while removing everything, thatch, sticks, mulch, anything not rooted. Note that you are now "pulling" the brush. Again its floating so practically weightless in operation. Also we've learned to feather the throttle to "walk it" forward along the surface so the shoulder strap is unnecessary (and now lost) for either of these applications. As for "normal" or right side up applications, it is a bit heavy and has a learning curve in this "push" mode but works better than a pressure washer to clean the dust from my rock piles from any hard surface. I also use it for snow removal. For any dry snow storm up to six inches or wet snow under three inches, it is faster for sidewalks than three guys with shovels. And unlike ATVs goes anywhere. It is not that effective with deep or wet snow however.

Only purchase this if you want to meet all your neighbors!
I bought this after reading many reviews and watching a few youtube videos. I was looking for something to clean up the yard of our new home. The lot is about 3/4 acre. I basically used it upside down as a power rake and holy smokes did it do everything I was hoping it would do! Stones near the road, pine needles around a tree, thatch - ALL GONE. Grass - just fine. In a couple of hours I was done. I had to take a break and get more yard bags because of all the debris this thing removed. Many ... read more (seriously like one every 20 minutes) people stopped to get a closer look and find out where I bought it. Save yourself time and effort and buy this thing - you wont regret it.

    Excellent
Use this on the property I manage for the artificial golf green. Referred to as a power broom, it does what it says. Great for in-fill, daily cleaning, and removing moss/fungus from the turf. Green is spotless after one pass. I couldn't believe how well it worked. Has quick release pins for changing/cleaning bristles, very nice feature. I run it on a 130r, has enough power to make me catch my balance when I'm not holding it right. Can't get it to bog down no matter how hard I try. It is heavy ... read more and a little awkward at first.

Let the machine do the work
I bought the KM90R powerhouse about five years ago and last year added a rented power-sweep attachment. This year I bought my own from Padula Brothers in Greenfield, MA (Kris Kauffman - Manager). I started a fledgling lawn business and it's grown to around 20 properties I do each spring. My advice is, while heavy, let the machine do the work and eventually it's no more than just following it. Go easy on the paddles if you're using it on pavement or you'll grind them down. My hope is to expand ... read more into a bristle brush, too, for hardscape.

    Clean rock of the lawn
After each winter the snow plow leaves rocks, etc. on my lawn. The attachment works very well. It does take a lot of strengh to run it for a very long time, but I can sweep 100 feet in about 15 minutes. I would recommend it, works well on loose rock too.

    Power sweeper
I use this attachment for commercial use, this is the best value if you get the more powerful power head and this, beats any other power sweeper deals by other brands... After using it for a long time the flaps didnt even start to wear down.... Yes its heavy and pushing it away from you while its spinning the other way can wear you down quick, but if you want professional results then you cant cry about it, thats what the pros use and do everyday. Not for a homeowner thinking this tool is a ... read more blast and easy to use.

Straight out of a horror movie
This is a machine! I shaped 10' legustrums while standing comfortably on the ground. While the length feels a little awkward at first, it starts feeling natural as you go on. You can safely skip the gym on hedge trimming days as it's a workout. I used it as brush clearing over the weekend to remove some ferns. It zipped right through everything in its path including the pvc irrigation lines that were hidden in the mess. Oops. It's amazing how well it works. It is a workout, though.

    Amazing function!
I was amazed at ease of use and quick angle adjustment for old-fashion privet hedge trimming. Performed flawlessly; turned an all day job into a two hour feat!

    Quality product that performs well
Very well made and matched nicely with the Kombi power head. The adjustability is the real seller here. Provides great range to perform trimming tasks that would be very difficult with a straight trimmer. So far, cuts everything very cleanly.
