    Very good fast start
The last Stihl trimmer was hard to start. I went to see my local dealer and he advised that the 56 line of combi system has improved starting. Boy was he ever right. I have the pole saw attachment and I have been trimming several years of dead limbs from a row of pine trees. I have been on this project for a week, about two hours a day and not one time did the trimmer fail to start . I wish all my small engines started ths well.

    The Best Homeowner Multi-Tool
I bought this power head along with an edger, leaf blower, curved-shaft trimmer, tree trimmer, and hedge trimmer. It always starts first pull with a few pushes on the primer. The throttle response is amazing. It is also very light for its power output, which is nice if you do a lot of trimming. Plus, it is easy to service, change attachments, and doesn't take up a lot of space. I can trim with this for 2 hours without a harness and still keep going. Even though its a homeowner model, I have done ... read more lots of work for different people with it. Overall, a great purchase for anyone looking to do major work around their home.

    comfortable, reliable, easy to start
I think they are very reliable. For those of you with burnt pistons , you need to buy the pre-mixed gas. Mine is going on 5 years old and my mother has an earlier model that is still kicking. If you think its under powered buy a bigger model. I have 3 saws, this trimmer / pole saw, a br 600 back pack blower and the sh 56 shredder vac. I have had no problems. I have two different backpack blowers that only made it one season. They were not a STIHL product.

Best Edger I've owned so far.
This edger is awesome. I bought this edger because it had lots of attachment options. I bought the edger and the mini-cultivator attachments. I figured using the cultivator in hard soil with some roots would bog this unit down, but it had plenty of torque to do the job. Ate through most roots and just kept on going. the edger trims grass and weeds easily even at low rpms. Just bought the hedge trimmer attachment, but haven't used it yet. Looking to buy the the sweeper attachment next. So cool!

    Dependable and Powerful
This Kombi system power head is very fast starting and powerful. I have paired it with the brush cutter and the straight shaft trimmer. The trimmer is very easy to use and the brush cutter works cutting thru brush up to about an inch thick with no strain on the engine.

    Does it all
As a homeowner with several acres, this tool does it all for me. Have progressively bought the blower, hedge trimmer, weedeater, cultivator and edger attachments. Has plenty of power and very reliable...no problems. Lightweight enough for me and no prob with the attachments added weight. I only use Stihl oil in the gasoline and have only needed to do routine maintenance on it ( plug, filter) . Makes me look forward to yard work. If you want to look like a pro. .. get this thing. impress your ... read more neighbors by learning to start this thing with one pull as you are walking in your drive. Beats the excessive pulls of exasperation kneeled over some cheaper model that won't fire up.!

    Trail building workhorse
The MM55 and Pick Tines have been great for building trails, whether cutting bench or harvesting soil. Even in the rocky northeast it saves a lot of pick and hoe strikes. We need more time with it to see how (or if) it continues to perform. So far so good, and we are certainly putting some hard hours on it in the mountains of the Hudson Valley. We hope to try the Bolo tines soon.

Just purchased and used this afternoon
I had to replant my back yard due to weeds and just not good. The thought of racking the yard was not a good thought. When I got this and started to cultivate my yard I was making faster progress then I thought. I tried to cultivate around a cut down tree that had a stump grinder job and it worked like a charm. This saved my back and body from days of racking. Its light and not like a regular roto-tiller which is NOT what I wanted to achieve. IT did a good job of scraping up the top 3+ inches ... read more and break up any dirt.

    good but heavy
It works really good but it is so heavy after using it for more than 30 mins. Great for reaching those hard to reach areas without getting on a latter.

    Incredible
Ive always had electric black and decker hedge trimmers. Only complaint I have on this product is I didn't but iy 30 years ago. All the hours Ive wasted messing around with those electric trimmers all these years. Blades are SUPER sharp. Arm is sturdy and the ability to cut angles is truly remarkable. Cuts through better than average thick branches and trims like a champ. Could not be more pleased with the entire Kombi system. Highly recommend.

    Amazing function!
I was amazed at ease of use and quick angle adjustment for old-fashion privet hedge trimming. Performed flawlessly; turned an all day job into a two hour feat!

    Like cutting butter
The HL-KM 0 Straight Hedge Trimmer performed flawlessly. I was quoted an exuberant amount of money to trim my 7 over grown holly bushes, some are over 16 feet in circumference. I was able to trim them all in a few hours and thanks to Stihl and there KombiMotor system with the Straight Hedge Trimmer I saved money and improved my curb appeal drastically, thank you.

    Quality Product
Easy to use and attach to the Yard Boss. Just the right level of power. Another absolutely excellent, quality Stihl product.

This attachment was perfect for my yard.
I was going to rent a detatcher, but I decide to buy this instead. I have not detatched my yard in 20 years. This machine cleaned the yard perfectly. My biggest problem was getting rid of the 50, 55gal bags, of dead grass.

Good product, a little pricy for function
Bought the Yard Boss to use around the house for multiple tasks and ordered the Dethatcher the same day. The Dethatcher was easy to install and use while doing a very good job of pulling all the dead stuff out of the lawn.
