    Awesome
Have been heating with wood for 20 years. It was a real debate to spend the money on this maul....until I used it, definitely worth the money. Using hardware store mauls the handles lasted about 2 cords of wood, this handle wont break. This maul hits and splits like a much heavier tool, and goes through knots etc. other mauls wont

    Great maul
Split a bunch of red oak with this maul, and was very impressed how much better it was than my old cheap maul. Wish I would have gotten one of these years ago. I like the steel collar, really protects the handle.

PRO SPLITTING MAUL Costs the Price of QUALITY!
I've heard some dealers grumble about the price of Stihl Hand Tools, but it comes down to this...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ! Ochsenkopf (Ox Head)- produced steel tools are made of high-quality German steel...a wise vendor choice by Stihl. This maul will hold an edge. Grab the handle and appreciate the hefty girth and shape. That, in itself, will reduce your percentage of overstrikes, but in the event they happen...a steel sleeve is there to protect your handle. You won't find these features on ... read more cheaply-produced products. This maul may not fly off the shelves, but it won't fly out of your hands either! Just to be clear...I am not a dealer. I bought the Pro Splitting Hatchet primarily to pound wedges while felling, the Pro Splitting Axe for chopping small-to-medium rounds, and now the Pro Splitting Maul for opening up large rounds. My cheaper substitutes will go out in the next estate sale. I'm done using junk! Just look at it this way: This maul costs less, per pound, than you'll pay for jumbo prawns from your local grocer...and, it won't contribute to water & sewer bill the next day!

Hands Down the Best Pruner Around
I manage wine grape vineyards and over the years have worked with most all major pruner brands. Without a doubt, the PP80 is the best pruner I've laid my hands on to date. It fits my large hands comfortably, and cuts through canes and suckers like butter... vine after vine, after vine. The quick-release blade lock puts a smile on my face every time I used it. I can't think of anything I would change on this pruner. Definitely worth the extra cost.

Best pruner I've used to date. Fits my hands, sharp and cuts like butter. Definitely a wise investment.

    this is the best choice
This is one fine tool and the extra long handles work real good with large hands as well as small hands...even my wife likes to use these and the precise cutting with ease and small amount of pressure is unreal. These are the best pair to buy as trimming and just touching up here and there on my plants is so easy and fun ...always use Stihl penetrating oil to clean them after each use and store it in the original plastic case they come in for years and years of zero issue use ! Just go buy a ... read more pair and soon you will realize you have bought the best $ can buy! Thanks STIHL!

This tool is a state of the art treasure.
By far, the best lopper that I have ever used. Outstanding product.

The last loppers you'll ever buy.
The PL 40 is strong and durable. The orange cushion grommet will keep you from jarring your wrists when you cut through thick branches.

    Great product
Great product a real time saver went right through oak and pine limbs without problems. Very little effort required so you can get the job done. I used this with the ms460 and ms180 and makes quick work of the trees. 32 inch handles save your back also especially if your over 6 foot.

    Handy saw
Riding ATVs for years, I don"t leave the shed without one of these in the tool box. I've cut trees up to 5 inches with this saw, you have to work from different angles, but you can open up that trail instead of heading back. these are great saws and you need one if you go out side for yard work or trail riding. Just get yourself one and see how good it really works.

    great survival tool
Ive had mine for 4 years now. I used it all the time doing tree work, and now keep it in my truck for use on limbs keeping salvage at bay. I did break the tip off of it. I'm sure that I over worked it. I've used it on tree limbs, pvc pipes, tires, the list goes on. Love it!

    Nice little hand saw
This is perfect to have around for those little jobs around the property when you don't want to fuss with power tools to get things done. Also this is great to have while camping when you're preparing your camp site. When the chainsaw is overkill, and the looper just doesn't have what it takes, then get this guy out and go to work.

    Very Sharp Hand saw.
I use this to limb live oaks within reach in my yard. It works very well. I have cut branches up to 4 inchs and it worked flawlessly. It is light weight and extremely sharp. Mine states that it was made in Japan and the quality shows it. The blade has not bent even when a limb’s weight pinches it. The blade’s angle allows for powerful cutting stroke without putting your weight down. This allows the blade to do the work and reduces the chance of a pinch or bend. Since I am cutting wet wood ... read more I will tell you that you need to clean the blade before storage to avoid rust and gum-ups that will cause it to pinch.

    Cuts with ease
I just bought this saw and have been used it all day. Cuts very well with great ease. Unlike other cheaper saws that I have, this one doesn't bind. I recommend the leather sheath. The teeth are very sharp. I also like the saw for its fine cut. I will be going back to the supplier to get an additional PS 70.

    Superb Pruning Saw
I own a 40+ acre property in the mountains of North Central Washington State with thousands of trees (aspen, ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, cottonwood, etc.). I purchased this pruning saw to trim the lower branches of the trees (in wildfire country we call them "ladder fuels"). This saw cuts cleanly and quickly through branches up to 3" in diameter, whether dry, wet or green. I also purchased a Stihl 900 Pole pruner to take care of larger and higher branches (the widow-makers). That allows me to ... read more cut branches and trim trees up to 15 or more feet off the ground. I have 4 Stihl chain saws and several other Stihl products. All are of superb quality (German engineering) and reliable. You never go wrong with a Stihl.

    These are terrific!
After 8 years of heavy use, I had to throw my loppers away yesterday. I cleared riding trails, pruned up trees, cut brush, you name it, they performed! I am headed to buy a new looper this am. No other loppers compare.

Stand up well to daily use in a 10 acre vineyard!
I was a little concerned about the length of the handles until I used them the first time. They are very easy to maneuver because of the blade and hook design. You can get into very tight places in a vine canopy. These will cut!

    Works better than it should
This may be the smallest lopper in the product lineup, but it can power through branches that should justify getting a different tool. It's small enough to be easy to wield, yet strong enough to cut almost anything that will fit in the jaws. Whether the wood is dry or green, this will cut it. After 5 years of use, I'm amazed I haven't been able to break it yet, despite my best efforts. All hand tools should be made this well.
