Features
The pictures shown are sample photos. The actual appearance of the equipment features and their specific attachment to the product may differ from the pictorial representations, but will have the same functionality.
The Ematic™ guide bar, when used with STIHL OILOMATIC® saw chain, will provide proper lubrication and less oil consumption than conventional methods. The system works because two ramps, strategically placed in the guide bar rail, help contain the flow of oil and direct all lubrication to the sliding faces of the bar and chain links as well as the rivets and driver holes, which in turn can reduce bar oil consumption up to 50%.
This product is lightweight for easy portability, great maneuverability, and extended use.
The Quick Chain Adjuster (QCA) (B) allows the user to adjust the tension of the chain without the use of tools. This allows for easy chain adjustment.
Soft rubber texture is both easy to grip and makes the product comfortable to hold for extended periods.
Lightweight and compact, STIHL electric motors require minimal maintenance and feature low noise levels and reduced vibration.
STIHL chainsaws are equipped with a chain stopping system designed to reduce the risk of injury in certain kickback situations. It is called a STIHL Quickstop® chain brake. The STIHL Quickstop® chain brake is designed to stop the rotation of the chain if activated by the operator’s hand or by inertia if the saw kicks back with sufficient force. In some working positions, the STIHL Quickstop® chain brake can be activated by inertia, stopping the chain within fractions of a second.
This safety feature must be depressed before the trigger can be activated.
The translucent bar and chain oil tank makes it easy for users to check oil levels at a glance.
The variable-speed trigger allows precise control for each task.
Powerful performance along with lightweight convenience for the home.
The STIHL MSA 60 C-B puts capable cutting performance in the lightest chainsaw in the STIHL AK Homeowner Battery System. Designed for general yard maintenance and firewood cutting, its lightweight design makes it easy to carry and maneuver around the property. A variable-speed trigger gives you precise control for the task at hand, while the 1/4" PM3 saw chain delivers smooth cutting. Paired with the AK 20 battery, the MSA 60 C-B provides up to 40 minutes of run time, giving homeowners plenty of time to tackle everyday cutting projects.
Thoughtful features make the MSA 60 C-B just as easy to maintain as it is to handle. The Quick Chain Adjuster lets you adjust chain tension without tools, while the translucent bar and chain oil tank makes it easy to check oil levels at a glance. A soft rubber grip adds comfort during extended use, and the brushless motor delivers the power and performance you expect from STIHL with virtually no maintenance.
The set comes with the AK 20 battery and AL 101 charger in the box.
