STIHL SR 430 and STIHL SR 450

The flywheel can break apart during use, posing a projectile hazard to the user or bystanders.

Recall to repair certain SR 430 and SR 450 backpack sprayers manufactured between March 2020 and May 2021, serial number range from 369284811 to 370391433. Machines with serial numbers outside this range are not include in the recall.

Immediately discontinue use of a recalled SR 430 or SR 450 machine and take it to an authorized STIHL Dealer for a free repair.
