The lightweight yet rugged STIHL HTA 140 is designed for professional arborists, orchard managers, property maintenance crews, and municipal users. It is ideal for limbing trees, removing dead or storm-damaged branches, pruning fruit trees, and maintaining landscapes with mature trees. The HTA 140 is also well suited for farms, estate maintenance, and demanding residential property care.
The HTA 140 features an optimized, highly rigid professional telescoping shaft that allows quick length adjustments and precise positioning for accurate cutting at height. The telescoping shaft extends from approximately 112 inches to 159 inches (9.3 to 13.3 ft.). This extended reach allows operators to perform crown-thinning and pruning work at heights of up to approximately 16.5 feet without leaving the ground.
The HTA 140 is compatible with both 3/8" PICCO and 1/4" PICCO STIHL saw chains, allowing users to choose between faster limbing performance or finer, cleaner cuts for precision tree care.
A lightweight magnesium gearbox with an integrated, heavy-duty branch hook works together with the high-performance brushless motor to provide powerful cutting performance with low vibration and quiet operation.
