Lightweight, powerful, and designed for low-noise, low-vibration operation, the HLA 140 is ideal for trimming tall and wide hedges, shrubs, bushes, ground cover, and ornamental plants. Its versatile cutting blades are designed for shaping, pruning, and routine hedge maintenance. Thanks to its exceptionally quiet motor, the HLA 140 can be used in noise-sensitive environments such as residential neighborhoods, often without the need for hearing protection.
The durable brushless motor provides outstanding cutting power while minimizing vibration for greater operator comfort. An ergonomic control handle with a digital operating interface makes operation simple and intuitive and is ready for retrofitting with a STIHL Smart Connector. Three selectable speed settings allow users to match performance to the application, helping complete trimming tasks quickly and efficiently.
The HLA 140 features double-sided, low-friction universal blades and a 24-inch cutting bar, delivering excellent cutting performance while maximizing battery runtime. The articulating cutter bar adjusts through 145°, making it easy to perform overhead, side, and ground-level cutting. All cordless power tools in the STIHL ALLPRO System are engineered for professional use and daily operation, even when exposed to weather conditions. STIHL does not recommend use of any produt in the rain. These tools are certified as splash-resistant, with protection verified through rigorous internal testing, including testing aligned with the IPX4 water-resistance standard.
