STIHL RAPID™ Micro™ Full Skip is the skip pattern version of STIHL RAPID™ Micro™.
STIHL RAPID™ Micro™ Full Skip is the full-skip pattern version of STIHL RAPID™ Micro™. It is a taller-profile chain with more mass than STIHL PICCO™ chain and is ideal for larger displacement engines. Full-skip saw chain has an extra drive link and tie straps between each cutter, allowing better chip discharge and higher chain speed. Skip chains meet the needs of various operating situations, such as long bars used on large diameter logs, but can be used on short bars as well. Since there aren’t as many cutters as RM chain, RMF chain reduces the amount of time needed for sharpening.
Applications: The RMF chain is ideal for felling, bucking, and limbing. It is a general-purpose chain for the high demands of full-time professionals in agriculture, construction, and the forestry industry.
STIHL recommends using low-kickback, green-labeled chain and green-labeled reduced-kickback bars on all powerheads.
