To enter into the “Summer Text Alert Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”), you must agree to abide by these Official Rules.

SPONSOR: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by STIHL Incorporated, 536 Viking Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23452 (“STIHL”, “STIHL Incorporated” or the “Sponsor”).
ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: The Sweepstakes is only open to individuals who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C. who are physically located and residing therein, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older or the age of majority in their state of residence (which is nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska; twenty-one (21) in Mississippi; and eighteen (18) in all other states) as of the date of entry (individually each, an “Entrant” or collectively, the “Entrants”).

Sponsor and authorized STIHL distributors and dealers and each of their respective founding companies, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents of each of the foregoing (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), together with the immediate family members and household members of each (whether related or not) are NOT eligible to participate in or win this Sweepstakes. “Immediate family member” shall deemed to mean, spouse, husband, wife, children, mother, father, sister, sister in-law, brother or brother in-law. This Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, and where otherwise prohibited or restricted by law, rule, or regulation. The Sweepstakes may only be entered in or from the fifty (50) United States or Washington, D.C. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you are not located in the fifty (50) United States or Washington, D.C. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Non-eligibility or non-compliance with any of these Official Rules will result in disqualification.

To participate in the Sweepstakes Entrants must also: (a) have a valid mobile number; (b) have a text messaging two-way capable mobile device (“Device”) that has digital service/internet access and wireless service; and (c) agree to receive SMS text message alerts from STIHL (as further described below).
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by these Official Rules. The decisions of the Sponsor as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes, the selection of the potential prize winners, and all other matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. For the avoidance of doubt, any references in these Official Rules to Entrants shall also include each Entrant who is also deemed a winner.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or payment is required to be entered in the Sweepstakes or to win a prize. The Sweepstakes begins on or about 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on August 1, 2024 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 21, 2024 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Opt-In SMS. During the Sweepstakes Period, Entrants can enter the Sweepstakes by visiting STIHLUSA.com or STIHLdealer.net and following the on-screen instructions in the Sweepstakes pop-up to complete the entry form (“Entry Form”). Entrants must provide all of the information requested in the Entry Form including but not limited to the state Entrant is located in and Entrant’s mobile number. By fully completing and submitting the Sweepstakes Entry Form during the Sweepstakes Period, an Entrant will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Incomplete Entry Forms are void. There is a limit of one (1) Sweepstakes entry per valid mobile number during the entire Sweepstakes Period.

By entering the Sweepstakes and providing your mobile number you are agreeing to opt-in to and consent to receiving STIHL’s SMS text message alerts about this Sweepstakes and other recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing text messages from STIHL about STIHL and its products and services. Entrants may opt-out of receiving future text messages from STIHL by replying “STOP” to any STIHL SMS text message alert. However, to be eligible to win a prize you must be subscribed to STIHL’s SMS text message alerts at the time of the drawing and at the time the prize winners are notified. Therefore, opting out of future text messages from STIHL before the drawing or before the prize winners are notified will disqualify you from the Sweepstakes and you will not be eligible to win a prize.

Not all authorized STIHL dealers are participating in this Sweepstakes and only authorized STIHL dealers operating a STIHL provided micro website are eligible to participate.

Entrants may be charged for the text messages sent and received from their Device according to the terms in their customer agreement with their wireless service provider. Standard data and text message rates apply. Entry materials/data that have been tampered, altered, photocopied, or mechanically reproduced or from unauthorized channels are not eligible and will be void. Sponsor cannot guarantee this Sweepstakes will be available via all wireless service providers. Text messaging is available on participating wireless service providers only, whose instructions may vary.

Multiple Entrants are not permitted to share the same mobile number to submit an entry for the Sweepstakes. Multiple entries in excess of this limitation or mass entry attempts by the same person using different mobile numbers or spoof accounts will result in disqualification of all entries by such person or persons. Entries must be manual key-stroked by the Entrant. Entries must be made by an individual from a stand-alone Device and may not be made by a third party, by proxy, or any electronic/automated means such as script or macro. The use of any automated, mechanically produced, forged, robotic, repetitive, programmed, software-generated, or similar entry method or program will result in disqualification.

For purposes of these Official Rules, a calendar “day” is defined as any twenty-four (24) hour period during the Sweepstakes Period beginning at 12:00 a.m. ET and ending twenty-four (24) hours later at 11:59 p.m. ET, unless specified otherwise. A “business day” is defined as any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a U.S. federal legal holiday. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Sweepstakes will be Sponsor’s clock. All entries that are received after the end of the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
RANDOM DRAWING/SELECTION OF WINNERS: A total of ten (10) prizes will be awarded. Within approximately fifteen (15) business days after the end of the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor and/or its authorized representative will select ten (10) potential winners at random in a drawing from the pool of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIMS: The potential prize winners will be notified by Sponsor and/or Sponsor’s authorized agent or representative by text message at the mobile number provided on their Entry Form within approximately fifteen (15) business days from the date of the Sweepstakes drawing (the “Notification”). Prize Notification is deemed to have occurred immediately upon the sending of the text message by Sponsor and/or Sponsor’s authorized agent or representative to a potential prize winner. All potential prize winners must be able to receive text messages and calls from an unlisted/blocked number. All potential prize winners must respond to the Notification within five (5) business days with the information requested by Sponsor. If a potential prize winner does not respond to the Notification within five (5) business days, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate potential prize winner(s) may be selected by Sponsor at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes.

If requested by Sponsor, potential prize winners are required to submit proof of age, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Publicity Release (where legal), proof of being the Primary Authorized Account Holder (as defined below) of the mobile number provided on their Entry Form, and/or a W-9 form for tax reporting purposes (collectively, the “Prize Claim Documents”). If required by Sponsor and upon Sponsor’s request, all potential prize winners must return the Prize Claim Documents, properly executed, within the time period specified in the Notification. Sponsor will arrange to mail the prizes to the winners. Prizes will be mailed to the winners at the mailing address provided by the winners. Winners should allow 6 to 8 weeks from Notification for delivery of the prizes. All prizes awarded are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

Sponsor is not responsible for any changes to an Entrant’s mobile number, mailing address, or other contact information that may interfere with winner Notification and/or the potential prize winner’s receipt of a prize including but not limited to: (a) suspended or discontinued internet or wireless phone service; (b) Entrant opting-out of receiving Sponsor’s text messages before: (i) the end of the Sweepstakes Period, (ii) the Notification, or (iii) receipt of a prize; (c) the mailing address is incomplete, incorrect, or the Entrant has changed addresses; or (d) any other reason which may result in a potential winner not receiving the Notification or the prize. Sponsor shall have no liability for any Entry Form, Notification, or any text message that is delayed, garbled, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, undelivered, intercepted, or otherwise not received by Sponsor or an Entrant for any reason.

In the event that: (a) a potential prize winner declines the prize; (b) Notification is returned as rejected, faulty, misdirected, intercepted, delayed, illegible, incomplete, unclaimed, garbled, or undeliverable to a potential prize winner; (c) a potential prize winner cannot be reached, does not reply, or does not comply with the Notification instructions within the time period specified in the Notification; (d) a potential prize winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules; (e) a potential prize winner is found to be ineligible for any reason; (f) if required, a potential prize winner refuses to sign or fails to return the fully completed and signed Prize Claim Documents to Sponsor within the time period specified in the Notification; (g) a potential prize winner submits falsified or fraudulent Prize Claim Documents; (h) the prize is returned or the address is insufficient or incomplete for shipping purposes; (i) Sponsor is otherwise unable to notify a potential prize winner that they have been selected for any reason; or (j) the prize is undeliverable for any reason, then such person shall be disqualified, the prize will be forfeited, and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate potential prize winner(s) will be selected by Sponsor at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes.
PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Ten (10) winners will be awarded the following prize: one (1) STIHL baseball hat. Each STIHL baseball hat is valued at $15.00 U.S. Dollars (“USD”). The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded is $150.00 USD.

Prizes cannot be re-sold, transferred, substituted, assigned, exchanged, or redeemed for cash except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. No compensation will be given for an undelivered, lost or stolen prize. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Each mobile number can only win one (1) time.
PRIVACY: Your personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the most current version of STIHL’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.stihlusa.com/information/corporate/legal/privacy-policy/). By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By submitting an Entry Form, you warrant that all information provided as part of your entry is accurate, does not violate any third party’s legal rights (including without limitation rights of privacy and publicity), and otherwise does not violate applicable law. Each prize winner shall be solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof. If applicable, an IRS form 1099 will be awarded in the name of the winner for the retail value of the prize for any prize which is valued at over $600 as required by law. All other expenses associated with claiming the prize, prize acceptance, and prize usage not specifically mentioned herein are also the sole responsibility of each winner.

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting the Entry Form, the “Primary Authorized Account Holder” of the mobile number used to enter this Sweepstakes (at the time of entry) will be deemed to be the Entrant. For purposes of these Official Rules, the “Primary Authorized Account Holder” of the mobile number is, at the time of entry, the natural person in whose name the mobile number has been issue by their wireless carrier provider, who is legally responsible for the account with the wireless carrier provider, and in whose name the services are billed. In the event such a dispute regarding the identity of the person who actually completed and submitted the Entry Form cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.
FORCE MAJEURE: In the event an insufficient number of eligible entries are received and/or Sponsor is prevented from awarding a prize(s) or continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond Sponsor’s control including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane, tornado, explosion, Acts of God, acts of terrorism, war (declared or undeclared), riot or civil disturbances, work stoppages, labor disputes or strikes, communications or equipment failure, epidemic, pandemic or other issues concerning health or safety, state of emergency, utility or service interruptions, government regulation, natural disaster, any federal, state, local or provincial government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or any other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), then Sponsor in its sole discretion shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes or the prizes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date of the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will (if possible and in its sole discretion) select potential winners in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the Force Majeure event giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing will be each Entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances.
PUBLICITY RELEASE: Unless otherwise prohibited by law, by accepting a prize each winner grants to the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor or Sweepstakes Entities, the perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable right to print, publish, broadcast and use in all media, now or hereafter devised, without limitation at any time their full name, image, voice, likeness, statements, identity, social media ID, entry, state of residence, and/or biographical information (collectively, the winner’s “Likeness”) for any and all purposes (whether commercial, non-commercial, or otherwise) including but not limited to on the winner’s list for the Sweepstakes, without further compensation, consideration, notice to, or approval by a winner, unless prohibited by law. The foregoing license includes the right of the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities to reproduce, display, distribute, publicly perform, create derivative works of, alter, amend, broadcast, edit, publish, use, merchandise, license, sublicense, and adapt a prize winner’s Likeness, provided that Sponsor will not modify or edit a winner’s Likeness in a manner that is reasonably likely to be disparaging of the winner. Accordingly, you hereby waive any objection to such use including without limitation, distribution, reproduction, creation of derivative works of, public performance, or display of your entry, and any claim for compensation whatsoever in connection therewith. Such waiver shall also include any claim for infringement of any so-called “Moral Right” or similar right or interest.
WAIVERS, DISCLAIMERS AND RELEASES: The Entrant agrees that the Sponsor and each and all of the Sweepstakes Entities have not made nor will be in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, in connection with this Sweepstakes and/or with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, the prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. The prizes are awarded “as is.”

By participating in this Sweepstakes and/or by accepting any prize, each Entrant agrees, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, beneficiaries, administrators, legal representatives, executors and/or assigns, to release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor and each and all of the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all lawsuits, judgments, causes of action, proceedings, demands, fines, penalties, claims, losses, liability (including, but not limited to, liability for defamation, libel, slander, invasion of privacy, infringement of publicity or any intellectual property rights, any property loss, damage, personal injury, bodily injury, death, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity, and any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages of any kind (even if the parties have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damages), costs and expenses (including, without limitation, outside attorneys’ fees) that may arise in connection with: (a) the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to any Sweepstakes-related activity or element thereof and the Entrant’s participation or inability to participate in the Sweepstakes, (b) typographical errors in these Official Rules, the Prize Claim Documents or any other Sweepstakes materials, (c) acceptance, receipt, delivery of, possession, defects in, use, non-use, misuse, inability to use, loss, damage, destruction, negligence or willful misconduct in connection with the use of a prize, (d) any change in the Sweepstakes or inability to award the prizes due to reasons beyond Sponsor’s control, (e) any lost/delayed data transmissions or any technical malfunctions or unavailability of any website, telephone network, mobile network, computer system, computer online system, computer timing and/or dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, (f) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of the Sponsor or Sweepstakes Entities, (g) the collection, use and/or sharing of Entrant’s personally identifiable information by Sponsor or any of the Sweepstakes Entities or any of their respective designees, (h) the negligence or willful misconduct by Entrant or damages arising in any manner whatsoever, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, use, or misuse of a prize, (i) data corruption, data loss, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry, data available on a Device, or other materials, (j) late, lost, delayed, stolen, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible Entry Forms, text messages, Notifications, Prize Claim Documents, affidavits, or any other communications, regardless of the method of transmission, (k) any inability of a winner to accept or use any prize (or portion thereof) for any reason, (l) any violation of rights of publicity or privacy, or claims of defamation or portrayal in a false light, or (m) any claim of infringement of intellectual property rights.

Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities disclaim any liability for loss of data or damage to any Device, computer system, or mobile system resulting from participating in or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any portion of the Sweepstakes) at any time for any reason or should fraud, a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention, extenuating circumstance, or other problem/cause corrupt or inhibit the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such a situation, Sponsor will select the winners from eligible non-suspect entries received prior to and/or after such action or in such manner as deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor may prohibit any Entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines an Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, tampering, deception, or any other unfair practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrants, Sponsor, or Sweepstakes Entities.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE SPONSOR NOR THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES IN ANY WAY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE PRIZES. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE; THE SPONSOR AND THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES EACH RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of Entrants, Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s or jurisdiction’s laws. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the Commonwealth of Virginia in Virginia Beach or Norfolk, Virginia.
ARBITRATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION: By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant hereby agrees that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action, or controversies (“Claims”) arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved, upon the election by Entrant, Sponsor, or Sweepstakes Entities, by arbitration pursuant to this provision and the code of procedures of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). IF ARBITRATION IS CHOSEN BY ANY PARTY WITH RESPECT TO A CLAIM, NEITHER PARTY WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE THAT CLAIM IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL ON THAT CLAIM. FURTHER, NEITHER SPONSOR, SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES NOR ENTRANT WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR OTHER PERSONS SIMILARLY SITUATED, OR AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OF CLAIMANTS PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH BELOW, THE ARBITRATOR’S DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING. NOTE THAT OTHER RIGHTS THAT ENTRANT WOULD HAVE IF ENTRANT WENT TO COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES. ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY’S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON TORT, CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE. The arbitrator’s authority to resolve Claims is limited to Claims between Sweepstakes Entities, Sponsor and Entrant alone, and the arbitrator’s authority to make awards is limited to awards to Sweepstakes Entities, Sponsor and Entrant alone. Furthermore, claims brought by either party against the other may not be joined or consolidated in arbitration with Claims brought by or against any third party, unless agreed to in writing by all parties. No arbitration award or decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to the arbitration. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore such exclusions may not apply to you. Notwithstanding any other provision in these Official Rules and without waiving either party’s right to appeal such decision, should any portion of this provision be deemed invalid or unenforceable, then the entire provision (other than this sentence) shall not apply.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant expressively waives and relinquishes all rights and benefits afforded by California Civil Code 1542 and does so understanding and acknowledging the significance of this waiver. Section 1542 states as follows: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DID NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN, BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR THE SPONSOR.”
SEVERABILITY: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid, prohibited by law, or otherwise unenforceable, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed as if the invalid or unenforceable provision were not contained herein.
MISCELLANEOUS: These Official Rules contain the full and complete understanding with respect to the Sweepstakes and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether oral or written between Entrant, Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities regarding this Sweepstakes. The headings herein are for convenience only, do not constitute a part of these Official Rules, and shall not be deemed to limit or affect any of the provisions hereof. No amendment to, or waiver of, any provision of these Official Rules shall be effective unless in writing and signed by Sponsor. The waiver by Sponsor of any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of any other provision herein. The rights and obligations hereunder may not be assigned by Entrant, whether by operation of law or otherwise, without the prior written consent of Sponsor, and any attempted assignment in violation of the foregoing shall be null and void. These Official Rules shall be binding upon, and inure to the benefit of, the permitted successors and assigns of Sponsor and Entrant. When terms such as “may” are used in these Official Rules, the Sponsor has sole and absolute determination and discretion. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant hereby agrees to waive any rights to claim ambiguity of the Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to change, alter, or amend these Official Rules as necessary, in its sole determination, to ensure the fair administration of the Sweepstakes or to comply with applicable law. Sponsor reserves the right to change the duration of the Sweepstakes Period in its sole discretion and with or without notice. Any and all decisions of Sponsor regarding the Sweepstakes are final.
