Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive glove with finger holes I purchased these gloves to do basic landscaping work, handling firewood, using chainsaw, etc. After limited use, I have holes in a couple fingers. This to me is unacceptable for a glove at this price point. This is a manufacturing issue, not a dealer issue. My dealer recommended I contact Stihl, which I did but to no satisfactory resolution. They just send me back to the dealer. I was expecting Stihl to provide a replacement pair of gloves but am disappointed with the current outcome. I will look at other brands going forward as my Stihl chainsaw will need replacing in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent gloves, could be much more Brought these gloves last spring as I was looking for a good pair to handle woodcutting and splitting tasks. The gloves were comfortable and the mesh back helps with sweating, but by the end of summer I had several holes worn in the fingers. I expect better from Stihl. The leather used for the fingers is just not durable enough to hold up to the abrasion from rough logs, dirt, and dust. The fingers needs the same abrasion resistance the palms have as that part of the glove is still in good condition. Also, some vibration absorption would be nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great fit, terrible quality. Bought these gloves as a birthday present to myself. I used them for hauling and splitting firewood, for 5 or 6 hours, 4 of the 10 fingers have sizeable holes in them. For what they cost and what I got out of them, it was very disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worn holes in thumbs in less than 2 months I do not work everyday outside with these gloves, they have aleady worn holes threw thumbs. I dropped extra cash to have nicest gloves possiable. Now I have purchased no name leather gloves to replace them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great glove that lasts! This is the first pair of Stihl branded gloves that I've owned and after more than a year of use cutting, splitting, and stacking firewood as well as feeding limbs into a chipper, I am very impressed. The gloves fit well, provided excellent protection, absorbed vibration (padding in the palm), and were extremely durable. They were the only pair of gloves I used for more than a year. Great value for the money. Would highly recommend as an all around glove for outdoor work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THESE GLOVES ARE EXTREMELY WELL DESIGNED One can immediately appreciate the special care and attention that went in to the manufacturing of this Glove the very minute you slip the glove on! The palms of my hands are wide but my fingers are of average length making a good fit often-times difficult when shopping for a pair of good quality work gloves. Not only is the fit excellent, the quality of the materials chosen becomes obvious as well! They are not the cheapest pair of Work Gloves I've purchased but they are the only pair of Work Gloves I shall make a mental note of where I put them when I finish the job.Thank you. I have owned a MS 250 for nigh on ten years now, purchased it new. It now has nine years of work filling the wood shed at my residence on Denman Island without ANY PROBLEMS...PERIOD!!! A GREAT PRODUCT TOO!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from On second pair The first pair lasted 8 months working on cutting my heating firewood. The second pair in a week has a small hole in one of the fingers already. I have another third pair brand new hanging in the shop and hoping they last longer. Very good comfortable glove just wondering why a pair bought a year later is nothing like the first in durability. If the third pair lasts as long as the second I can buy 4 or 5 pairs of pigskin gloves for the price of one pair of these even if they only last a couple weeks a pair.
