Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightest and strongest I fall timber for a living and ran several types of bars especially the light weights on steep ground and the Stihl light bars are the best they last they are not floppy and throw chains when your limbing fast or back baring your face cut and I think they feel lighter then the other brands in the same bar length it's the best of both worlds the strength and ridgedness of the regular bars without the weight

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once you go LIGHT, you might say "A'IGHT!" I will seriously never buy another standard bar again!!! While the LIGHT is more expensive, it IS 100% worth the price!!! I was running my 661 with a standard 28" Bar and it never really felt heavy to me... until the end of the day when the 97° heat and costal Southeast humidity caught up with me. Now, I'm running my 661 with a 28" ES LIGHT. Man, what a difference! It feels like I'm only running a 20" bar! I'm kind of mad I didn't switch a few years sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for the serious wood cutter I bought a 28 inch ES Light bar for my Ms 460, It would usually be wearing a 20 inch b / c for most of my cutting. In working some recent storm damaged trees that were all tangled up, I wanted some more reach to keep my distance, but also wanted to keep the saw well balanced. The 28 inch bar made the work so much easier, great balance, increased reach without leaning over, durable, somewhat rigid, no flexing with added bar length.Typical Stihl quality is evident through out, metal, welds, paint are all top notch.A little pricey, but if not abused, the bar should last a long, time and offset the up front extra cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes limbing and bucking alot easier Started using this 32" .50 gauge bar on a 461 falling mainly fire killed trees in the Central Sierra Nevada forests. I was a bit skeptical at how flexible this bar was thinking it would bend easy but have found it is holding up well for all the falling, bucking and limbing work I have put it through. Have a few thousand trees into it so far and have alot more to go but I like the lighter weight on the bar tip which makes limbing easier. I will likely change over all my bars over here soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the 044 with rollomatic es lite bar i have been a timber cutter in northwest washington for 20 years . i run a hopped up 044 with a 32'' es light bar . i love the power of my saw . and the relieability is hands down over outher makes . the reason that i run this combination is that i have had two back surgerys on my low back . wich makes working even harder . so weight plays a very large part .
