    easy to start
the blower is very easy to start. My 13 yr old daughter starts and uses the blower while we mow the lawn. I previously had a Ryobi and it was a good machine. I anticipated that the Stihl would have more power than the Ryobi; it does not. It is sufficient for our needs, but not any better for the few more dollars that I spent. I do believe it will last longer than the Ryobi

This blower is easy to start and has plenty of air power.
I previously had a blower of another make that I've run for more than 30 years. It finally succumbed to bad gas syndrome and I was tired of having to fight to get it started. This new Stihl is a breeze to start and, once it warms up, is smooth running and powerful. I also like the lower sound level compared to my old blower (of course I still wear ear protection). If this blower is as reliable as my old one, one of my son's will be inheriting it (I hope in 30 more years!)

    House Blower
Needed a new house blower My Craftman of 20 years finally died. I Like this one but it could have a tad more blowing power seems my old craftman had more air blowing just my .002 But it does the job. It dose not start up on first three pulls though. Seems they have the choke and run on the blower backwards. It starts in run mode not choke mode go figure.

Great addition to my Stihl line-up
I read most of the reviews prior to purchasing this product, so I'm really glad I decided to purchase anyway. The reviews stated the blower was hard to start, but I've found this not to be true. You must follow the instructions create by Stihl or yes I'm sure it could be a problem. The blower is very lightweight, yet powerful. I have several acres that must be maintain and this blower fits right in with my other Stihl products. It cleans away all types of debris and helps keep my yard looking really nice.

    Excellent product and value
I looked at most gas blowers available. This blower, to me, was the best value. The primary factors in selecting this blower we're Stihl's reputation as quality products; weight of the blower; and price. It was nice to go to a local reseller (Ace) and they handed me an assembled blower, showed my wife and I how to start it and verified it ran well before we left. It is light weight compared to other brands. Sometimes as much as 2 pounds lighter. It has plenty of power for home owner use. The ... read more trigger for variable power is great. The blower is easy to start and has a very easy to pull starter rope. I love this blower.

Just what I was looking for
I was using an electric powered blower and my house needs sweeping almost everyday due to the many trees so I was looking for something portable, compact, strong and dependable. This gas blower has it all and so far I am very happy with it and for the price it was well worth it. I have a big yard and carrying the electrical cord was getting annoying at times not being able to reach and not having the freedom to move freely. Since the purchase and from when I first turned it on it has not failed ... read more me and has always performed he same when I have used it.

    Great little backpack blower
My wife purchased this little blower for me as a birthday/Father’s Day gift. I have had my eye on it for some time now at my local Stihl dealer. I love the fact that I have a great backpack blower now instead of a handheld blower. It’s so lightweight and it cranks on the first or second pull every time so far. I know that Stihl has a reputation for being quality equipment and it’s awesome that a homeowner can get that quality without having to sell off body parts to be able to afford it.

    Its a decent little blower
I bought this blower in the spring of 2017 and i primarily use it for blowing grass off sidewalks. but of course i live in the northeastern area of the US and come the autumn and this little blower made very easy work of blowing major amounts of leaves from on side of my yard to the street or on to a tarp. My only complante of this blower that i wish that it had a bit bigger of an engine, so that i could easily blow wet leaves the kind that been stuck to the grass or mulch beds for a couple ... read more days. thats its only weakness!

Good lightweight backpack for smaller yards
I bought this Stihl backpack blower after my handheld gas-powered blower from another manufacturer failed. I wanted to get a backpack blower to replace it, but not spend a fortune or get something that was so huge that my wife would be unable to handle it if she wants to use it. This blower is a solid upgrade from a handheld. It's not the most powerful blower out there and it's not what you'll see on the trucks with the professional landscape crews. However, it is lightweight and can be stored ... read more easily--and it gives you the handsfree convenience of wearing it on your back. Given that we don't have a large yard, this is more than enough for 99% of the tasks we need to do. It starts reliably and runs true--more than I can say for my old blower. If you have a lot of acreage to maintain, consider a larger Stihl blower. However, if you need something for a more modest yard, it's hard to beat the BR 200's combination of reliability and convenience.
