    What you'd expect
Decent handheld, choked down by emissions regulations a lot, but not STIHL's fault. People come in with a big misunderstanding that a 27cc handheld blower is going to blast away any pile of wet leaves across the lawn... this is false. Handhelds like this are designed to sweep away light debris like some dry leaves, grass clippings, dry your car, etc, not be the equivalent of a backpack. Good blower for WHAT IT'S DESIGNED for, not what some peoples expectations are. If you have a lot surrounded ... read more by trees and need to do serious leaf cleanup, get a backpack, if you want an easy to use tool to sweep off the deck/driveway/pathway, or clean up after you mowed the lawn, then get this.

Great for many different yard chores!
I use my held blower for leaf cleanup in the yard, blowing water off my truck after washing and even blowing light snow from our walkways in Winter. It always starts and has plenty of power. I am on my 3rd year with this blower and am really impressed with its performance and reliability.

This product is light, compact and easy to use.
The Stihl BR200 back blower is a great one to have. The small but powerful engine blows leaves at a fast clip. At 12 lbs, it don't even feel like you are wearing the blower. The BR200 blower starts on the 2 or 3 pull! The Stihl BR200 blower is easy to store and easy to use. The fuel efficiency of the small blower will last at least 2 hrs before refilling. I would say this blower is top of the line. I would recommend this product to anyone.

    Small, Light & Powerful
The BR200 is smaller & lighter than the larger, more powerful Stihl backpack blowers. While it does have less power than the larger heavier backpack blowers, it is still very powerful. It is more than sufficient for the tasks we have need of in blowing debris, leaves, grass clippings, etc as a homeowner. It is more than powerful enough for the blowing tasks we have around the house, clearing yard debris, & clearing the pool decking of 'stuff'. And it is extremely light. We looked a the larger ... read more Stihl backpack blowers & they are very, very nice, but are also much heavier. My wife wanted to be able to use our Stihl backpack blower, & the larger, more powerful models were really too heavy for her. The BR200 is light enough she can use it comfortably. For the average homeowner, I think the BR200 is more than sufficient.

    Surpassed All Expectations!!
The Stihl BR 200 Light Weight Leaf Blower is "NO LIGHT WEIGHT IN PERFORMANCE!!" My Son gave me a wonderful gift!! As a 72 year old guy with one arm and a bad shoulder on the other side, using a hand carried blower is over. Blowing leaves is great exercise and I like doing it. My son and Stihl enabled me to keep on keeping on and the yard looks great!!!

    replace the electric now!
I bought this 2 weeks ago and have used it doing fall cleanup. I have been very happy with it. I previously owned an electric that was always a pain to get the cord out and use. I use this for everything. I have used a few of the cheaper versions of this type of blower at work in the construction industry. This is definetly a step up from the big box store brands. It starts easily. I was surprised how quiet it is for a gas blower. My favorite thing about this blower it is very easy to handle. It ... read more is well balanced and you don't have to fight the spinning of the motor with your wrist. It also does not vibrate much. My only criticism is I wish it had a little more power. But, if this is the trade off for the smooth operation I will take the Smooth operation.

    Have had no issues
Bought this blower paired with a fs91r trimmer, I mow frequently and use this blower alot cleaning off porches, driveways, sidewalks, etc..I have seen some reviews saying hard it is hard to start/run issues, but I have had none. Following standard stihl starting protocol, it cranks right up... I do recommend letting it idle/warm up a little longer than normal seeing as it's a little finicky on the top end when cold. But I start it up and set it in the yard and idle for a minute or 2 and shes ... read more ready to go... no issues!

    Just the right blower!
I purchased this blower in addition to my Stihl BR420 backpack blower because of its light weight. It is easy to handle and get into cramped places around my house but has power that rivals much heavier blowers. It cranks easily and has adequate fuel capacity. By the time it runs out of fuel, I am ready for a break.
