I joined in college as a freshman and competed with the Pail Smith’s Woodsmen’s team for 4 years.

How do you train for STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®?
Stacking lumber and hay by day, and chipping with friends after work and on weekends. My brother sets a blistering pace when it’s time to put hay up, and my mother keeps the wagons rolling in.

Standing block.

What advice would you give to young female athletes interested in competing in the sport?
Don’t worry about what the stop watch says. Just do what you love, work hard and the rest will come. Be better than you were yesterday, no matter how small of a success.
