How do you train for the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series and other lumberjack competitions?
I train in between competitions as much as possible and by competing in professional competitions. I also weight train during the off season.
Are you related to any current or former STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series competitors?
Best/strongest STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series discipline:
My best/strongest events would have to be the single buck and the underhand chop... depending on the day.
Any advice for the collegiate competitors?
Never give up! Maintain a passion for the sport by seeking out your own missing links in performance. Whether it be equipment, knowledge or desire you have go after it. If you are truly interested in getting better, then you won't stop improving yourself. You just have to attack the sport and make it yours!
What pro athlete/celebrity would you like to see try one of the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series disciplines?
I would like to see Conan try any event.
