Brent Lanier is a STIHL Field Applications Specialist with Blue Mountain Equipment headquartered in McKinney, TX. His focus is on the DFW market, where he assists end-users (landscapers, municipalities, etc.) by demonstrating new products and being a liaison to STIHL dealers and Territory Managers.
As an Applications Specialist, Brent conducts STIHL equipment demonstrations, STIHL maintenance and operation training for cities, counties and state employees, school districts, universities, and parks and recreational facilities. In this role, he promotes the proper and safe use of power tools as well as provides technical expertise and training for arborists, landscapers, and loggers.
Brent has been employed by Blue Mountain Equipment for nine years in the Technical Services department, serving as an instructor for the STIHL Master Wrench Service Bronze and Silver training programs for dealer technicians. Most recently, Brent managed the Power Fleet Training program training end-user fleet mechanics, from landscapers and tree services to first responder agencies and volunteer rescue organizations.
Brent is also a combat military veteran, currently serving in the Air Force Reserves in air base ground defense.
