AJ Balbuena

Abduali (AJ) Balbuena is a STIHL Field Applications Specialist with Blue Mountain Equipment headquartered in McKinney, TX. AJ’s focus is on the Houston market, where he assists end-users (landscapers, municipalities, etc.) by demonstrating new products and being a liaison to STIHL dealers and Territory Managers.

As an Applications Specialist, AJ conducts STIHL equipment demonstrations, STIHL maintenance and operation training for cities, counties and state employees, school districts, universities, and parks and recreational facilities. In this role, he promotes the proper and safe use of power tools as well as provides technical expertise and training for arborists, landscapers, and loggers.

AJ is a veteran of the Marine Corps, where he did two tours in Afghanistan and one to Yemen as a Psychological Operations Marine. He has years of experience with a leading consumer electronics retailer, working his way up to a position in Operations Management while finishing his education. His background and skills have helped him learn quickly at Blue Mountain Equipment, and he understands the value and position of the STIHL brand.
