DuroCut Line Head

DuroCut Line Head
DuroCut Line Head is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for thicker lines. Bought this head to go on my fs240. I use .130" cf3 pro line and it will last all day cutting thick grass without breaking. The head is well balanced and feels like it is heavy built, so far I haven't had the line to sling out so it seems to hold the line extremely well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from simple, works great I just bought my second what I call non bump feed head. The first one was great and it lasted for several years. the new one is a little bigger and works just as great. Will never go back to bump and feed. The new one came with several pre cut strips of trimmer line which is unbelievable. I did my complete lawn weed wacking and edging and never had to replace the two pieces of line that I started with. these pre cut pieces were black with gray strips but I can't find it to purchase more. hopefully it will be out soon. bought my first Stihl product a chainsaw about 18 years ago and still use it. Since then anything I need if Stihl makes it I buy it, You can't go wrong with a Stihl anything.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Idea But Not Ready for Prime Time - Wonder What is Warranty Info? Does not Last I live in TX, use it once every 2 weeks on a Stihl FS 56 weed wacker.1. First DuroCut Line Head lasted I season (20 times usage small lot). Failed to hold lines anymore, tossed.2. Second DuroCut Line Head lasted 3 months top, 1 line still works but the other line is stuck I could not pull the line out, not sure if I can repair it. I may take it to my local ACE store for advice.Debating to get a 3rd DuroCut, or purchase a WW EZ Lock Head (4 stars review) at AMZN. I have had above average experience with non OEM heads. I'm getting pretty good in changing out trimmer heads, less than 10 minutes.Love Stihl products, I always buy the mid price range Stihl stuff, but this Durocut head is not ready for prime time. It's disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from GREAT MOTOR ....POOR CUTTING HEAD STRING WILL NOT COME OUT AUTOMATICLY AS DISCRIBED. I WOULD TAKE IT BACK FOR A FULL REFUND IF POSSIBLE. THE CUTTING HEAD AND STRING ARE VERY POOR QUALITY, THE STRING MUST BE REMOVED BY HAND.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it The DuroCut Line Head was very reasonably priced and works wonderfully. The line is very easy to replace on the head and I'm very happy I purchased the head when I purchased my trimmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durocut 2-20 Use this head with .095 string instead of buying expensive little cut pieces. you will need a good pair of cutters. use the thick precut pieces it comes with to get right size of string. you have to spend time cutting these pieces, but I only go through about eight per lawn. I run the weedwacker at 70% power so string doesn't break you have to find the sweet spot where you're cutting effectively and not breaking the string. love this durocut head love my Stihl weedwacker. another thing they told me to start it on choke. after it warms up just start it without putting it on choke only on starts where she sits a long time choke and prime when she's warm just pull string to start 10/10 best weedwacker I've ever owned get the durocut 2-20 and spend your time productively trimming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST. THING. EVER. This is the way to go with trimmer heads; buy a spool of line, cut a few to length, and replace them as needed. No more fussing with the tap heads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent compared to the bump spool line trimmer. I bought the Stihl KM 130 motor head and also attachment for the brush cutter. I have another line trimmer attachment with the bump spool trimmer and always had problems with the line feed. While I'm giving this line trimmer to my son, I bought this trimmer head to change out with the brush cutter attachment. What a difference and joy it is to use. It is not that expensive either and well worth the change compared to the hassle of having to deal with a bump spool.Lines are easy to remove and change out when needed. You can also get easy replacement lines or buy a spool and measure and cut your own trimmer lines.
