Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too short This would have been 4+ stars but it is too short. I am 6'4" and 275 pounds. With my heavy winter coat on and the straps adjusted all the way out out was barely functional. Stihl should offer 2 sizes. Not sure what to do now but deal with it because otherwise it works well. If your 6' or less it will be fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Deluxe Hanger I purchased this item based on the reviews and gave it a four stars. I feel that the harness could be better. The price was fair, but I thought it was toooo confining. I am tall and slender which required me to use all of the slack in the adjustment straps. The hook is well built and it actually holds the powerhead steady. I do like the harness, but it needs just a slight improvement for mobility. For example, I found it difficult to restart the unit while attached to the harness. There should have been some give built into the rig.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CLASSIC SIMPLICITY! I do have Stihl's other Top-of-the-Line Harnesses, but they do not have the straight-up simplicity that this harness does. It does have a tendency to load the left shoulder more than the right one, but this harness is my top choice for short jobs. You don't have to worry with loose ends flapping around everywhere when its windy! It is my choice when I'm doing jobs where I have to get in-and-out of my harness frequently. It is a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have purchased a long time ago. What a difference maker. Really reduces the stress on your back and increases the time you can work comfortably. Adaptable to multiple applications. Definitely a wise purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great harness I ordered this harness the same day I bought my Stihl FS90. When you pair those two items together you get endless hours of trimming. The double standard harness takes most of the weight of the trimmer and distribute's it evenly across your shoulders thus making your trimmune experience much more enjoyable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good strap This strap is a million times better than the standard strap. The standard strap digs into your shoulder and hip. This strap distributes the weight to both shoulder and your back. It also has a plate on the back of the clip to prevent it from digging in your side. The only downside is that it's more inconvenient to use this when trimming grass on levees because it has to be adjusted more frequently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tired? Nah, only been at it a few hours... This puppy -- once you get it adjusted to your pleasing -- turns a chore into a pleasant walk. And it's very easy to adjust, even when it's attached to your trimmer. It could use a pocket to hold a water bottle, and perhaps a pouch to hold the tools needed to change trimmer heads, but that's a quibble easily handled by the pockets in me kilt. (Normal folks might use a fanny pack or messenger bag.)I have used this for seven hours straight, up and down the foothills in Appalachia, and the only reason I was tired was due to going up and down "hills" that are over 900 feet high.
