from It's way, way faster than a rake! I have this on an FS90R.This is as small a machine as I'd put it on, the power is adequate for this attachment, but certainly not over powered. It's pretty heavy, some comments have that as a con, but I see it almost as a pro, the weight works for you while it's running. You don't have to bear down on it, just let it's own weight do the work. It can be set up to either throw whatever you're moving, forward, away from you or back toward you like a regular rake. If it's set up to throw stuff forward, when you come back for the next pass, just tickle the throttle a bit, and it'll run right back to you, no lifting needed. I wondered how it would affect the grass, and it doesn't bother it a bit, just kind of lays it over for a little while like a regular rake does, no harm done. If you have large chunks of sod from the snow plows it doesn't do well with that, maybe if it's set up to pull it might do better, I haven't tried it that way yet. All in all, I'm very happy with it, very happy indeed. Stihl makes an excellent product, I highly recommend this especially if you're doing a lot of spring clean up.

from Awesome Cleanup Tool We run 3 of these on FS90's for lawn cleanup in the spring up here. Up here in Alaska the plows push piles of sand and gravel out onto the lawns. These sweepers literally throw this sand wherever you want it to go. Will throw sand, gravel, pebbles. The only thing is the fs90's are a little week for these beasts. Would reconnect this to any landscape company in a snowy area where the plows scrape half the driveway onto the lawn.
