Very DURABLE for Nylon Line Trimming Heads!
I use this with my "orange" & "red" nylon line. The metal line trimmer works just fine when you feed out additional line with the automatic-feed heads. The protection from flying debris is excellent. I recommend High Visibility Deflector when using Brush Knives.

Like it for the FS 55, why doesn't it fit the FS 56?
Really like the larger size. Fits the FS55 perfectly, because there are 4 screws. Works great to block chips. The FS56 takes 1 screw, and there is no larger shield. This doesn't fit that model. What's up?

    Good product
OK, not sure how much you can review a deflector. It is quite a bit stiffer than the original. The instructions, however, need a LOT of improvement. I still haven't figured out what the black handle thing that slides on the bottom piece is supposed to do, but it seems to work well without it, whatever it is. Don't see it on the picture, so I guess I got it right.

    High Visibility
When I received my Stihl FS55RC a few years back, it had the high visibility deflector on it. I switched over to the large deflector kit as I was using metal blades on occasion. Now to the present time, I have a Stihl FS90 that I use regularly for grass areas. I installed the high visibility deflector on my FS90 and I have noticed that the unit weigh's much less then when I was running the large deflector. If I'm cutting strictly grass, the high visibility deflector is the way to go.

    Limit Stop for FS 91
The Limit Stop pictured above DOES NOT fit the FS 91. I purchased the two blades to cut some saplings and was sold the wrong Limit Stop because I assumed the Picture above was correct.. Local Shop (Hardware type store.) As some reviewers noted there are NO Part Numbers listed on the website for us to used to purchase parts. Finally called STIHL and Limit Stop for FS 91 is 4180-710-8201-A for a 200MM blade which is the size for the FS 91. Use the Trimmer Head and Blade Chart for Part ... read more numbers for your blades and heads to make sure you purchase the correct one.

    Very Confused
There seems to be no literature to determine what guard is needed for what trimmer for any specific application. My dealer is only somewhat helpful. For example, an old FS85X with a brush cutter blade...what guard is needed? Same for the newer FS70 which clearly needs a different guard because of how it mounts on the machine. Stihl website is not helpful. I'm a long time Stihl owner but there needs to be a better information guide or something. Trimmer "X' can use these guards, these attachments, etc.

Stihl Kombi 130 - built to last.
Powerful unit, well made. The double string feeder though, tangles inside and requires frequent disassembly. Not sure why they would release a product that jams up like that. Stihl makes rugged equipment, but instruction manuals are lame and inadequate.
