Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely awesome yard tool My 14 year old 12' Pole saw finally broke for good. I debated buying a 21' Japanese saw for awhile then I happened to see this Stihl saw at my local ace store. Once I had it in my hands It felt just great and was lighter than I expected. Made the ace manager measure the saw and it was almost 19' to the base of the saw blade. Took it home and started trimming my Queen palm trees and did t stop until it was dark! Very powerful saw blade and the ligament and hook cutting blades were super sharp. This Stihl was an absolute pleasure to use and its light weight and grip didn't tire this old 59 yo man!My only regret is not buyi g this a year ago

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really love the product, but I wish one thing could be improved Overall I don't think I have ever used a better extension pole. I will say that I wish the third section was a little more durable. I was cutting a large limb and it fell and twisted and bent the third section slightly. The pole is still useable, but it doesn't collapse all the way. The weight is abolutely amazing compared to a fiberglass pole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of The Line Telescoping Pole This telescoping pole is top of the line. Easy extension and durable and does not wobble or give way when under pressure. You cannot go wrong with Stihl. Stihl products may cost a bit more than the others but you get what you pay for. For quality and long life equipment Stihl is the only brand I buy. Been burned too many times by cheap imitators.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute BEST Pole for Manual Pruning! This PP 800 is a killer telescoping pole: Lightweight and sturdy/strong at the same time. The 18 foot pole is REALLY 18 feet long (not like some other pole makers that calculate in the additional height of the person using it). So, add in about half your height, and you'll actually get a 20' to 22' reach. It's actually a joy to use because it doesn't bend or wobble - you can be very precise with your cutting. I've been through a few other polesaws and this one is a serious professional pole compared to any of the others. To finish your pole system out, get the ** PS 80 Arboriculture Saw attachment, and the ** Pole Pruner Lopper Attachment. The Saw and Lopper are both top notch pro tools as well! Can't be beat. No hesitation - Get it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful I have gone through several other brands of pole pruners and this one tops them all. Its extended reach is astounding. It cuts through anything. Its expensive but well worth it. I don't really like how the lopper attachment comes with such a short rope and it doesn't even come attached but thats a simple fix. Just have to buy a longer rope.
