Rated 1 out of 5 by Problems with the pole and chain The motor is great, it starts on the first pull almost every time. The pole is not as good. On the first day, the chain started to slip and I had to take it easy on getting through hard wood. The third day I used it, the chair was slipping and smoke would roll out the end. Cutting hard wood was impossible. I now have it back at the place I bought it for repairs. August 23, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic saw. Birthday present in 2011 and was the last thing I rescued from my house when the Bastrop Complex fire came through and burned it down. Glad I did. This saw helped clean up 10.5 acres of burned forest and is now mounted on a Brush Truck with the Fire Dept. We use it after storms to clear the roads. Very aggressive and always starts. I did notice that it doesn't like it when I use the prime bulb. Without priming it starts on two to three pulls. This saw sees nothing but abuse and keeps on trucking. I have noticed that the balance could be a little better as it's kind of hard on my 52 year old back. May 25, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by What do i have to do to start this thing? beg Brand new HT 130. Excellent looking unit but looks are not everything. Granted i have a bad back and it is exhausting to yank the cord. More then 20 pulls of the cord without a hope of starting. I quit im returning it. My stihl chainsaw will eventually start but i have yet to operate a stihl product that didn't run me into the ground before i got started and i have always bought new. May 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by performs well The pole saw did not have as much power as I was hoping for. The saw runs and cranks great. I am disappointed that the bar will not take a hardwood chain which I think would enhance the service of the saw March 8, 2014
