Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this! I bought a Stihl 170 saw about 6 years ago to replace my old pain in the butt saw with a different brand name. Bought a quart of Motomix with it and felled an old ash tree at my parent’s house. Put the saw away for about 6 years. Got ready to cut up an old pine at my new house a few days ago, and my saw started up on the 3rd pull. Ran like a champ. I’m a fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fuel ! What’s cool is that this has already mixed for you and has no ethanol which keeps your carburetor fresh and if you use this stuff all the time it’s guaranteed to have your stuff start all the time !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stihl let down their customers I've owned Stihl power equipment, saws, trimmers, and blowers, for over 25 years and will most likely continue to do so. However, when they went to the square container from the cylinder they let their supporters down. They make some of the best premix fuel on the market but the delivery is a complete failure with the square container. It's an absolute mess trying to pour the fuel and SELLING a nozzle to resolve the issue in not a fix. Stihl has forced me to use the competitors mix that comes a user friendly cylinder container and by looking over the reviews I'm not alone. From a life long customer - please switch back

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Burning Money $$ The Stihl Pre Mix fuel is excellent! Non-ethanol and synthetic. Normally, I run HP Ultra but recently ran out and used this as a stop gap on my MS170. It runs great, but I normally run a little heavier on the oil than 50:1.. It’s expensive stuff!! But in a pinch I’d burn it when I can’t use my go-to 100LL and HP-Ultra at 40:1

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate the new fuel cans The only reason I am giving only one star is because of the new square quart fuel cans. The rounds cans were perfect and no fuel spillage. The new cans are the opposite. Why did you change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from STIHL Motomix in Square cans makes no PRACTICAL sense Great product. I use this in 5 STIHL power products with absolutely no performance problems. I do have a major problem pouring gas out of the “new” square cans. Come on STIHL, the round 32 oz. cans were perfect. Don’t know why you decided to do this, but you clearly missed the mark. This is the first time in 40 years I can utter a complaint about something with the STIHL name associated with it. I don’t mind paying for a high quality product, and we do pay a premium for this product, but I have a major problem with it spilling on the ground due to poor packaging design. You might keep in mind - Your competitors still package in round cans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent premix for my Stihl chainsaw and trimmer This premix burns very clean in my Stihl chainsaw and Stihl trimmer. It is almost completely smokeless and comes in a steel can for long term storage. You do need to use a spout for the gallon can or it is messy. This is just common sense. I bought 4 quarts with my saw last year. Never put this fuel in plastic gas cans for storage. It will degrade quick The steel can cannot rust with premix fuel in it. Fuel degrades very quick in plastic cans. VP Racing Fuels says fuel can be stored in steel cans for years without degrading.
