    Excellent leaf blower!
I bought this on a recommendation from the local Stihl dealer- Green Thumb. This blower starts easily, is comfortable to hold, and has more power than I really need. What I needed was a blower to clean off a large concrete area and long walkway that gets a lot of debris on it from trees. This blower "blew" through it in minutes. This is a solid unit made from quality materials and I really like the "Made in America" idea as well. The dealer gassed it up and tested it for me before I left.

This is a good blower for the value.
I bought a different manufacturer's blower several years ago and I have spent also as much on repairs. I have a Stihl chain saw that is 25+ years old and it still runs great so I gave up on the other blower and bought a Stihl blower. It starts easily, it has more power for moving leaves than my old blower, it's not heavy and it does a great job for what I want. If it holds up like my chain saw, this blower will probably outlast me.

    Great blower, would reccomend
I've had the BG 56 C-E for about four years now. It is used moderately during the spring/summer at least one to two times weekly. I decided to spend a little more to buy the BG 56CE over the BG 55 for the easy start feature. I could not be happier, this was my first Stihl product that I bought new and too be honest, outside of draining the fuel over periods of non-use and the occasional tune up, I don't always treat it the best. I really baby my Stihl chainsaws as far as maintaining them, but I ... read more don't have to do that with this piece of equipment. I would recommend this blower and I think the east start feature was worth the extra 45 dollars

Why Did I Wait So Long To Buy It?
First of, the dealer who I purchased it from, Freeman Creek Equipment was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me a demonstration of its features. The blower itself surpassed my expectations. I have a 1 acre property with mature oaks and maples. Needless to say, in the fall there are plenty of leaves. So much so that I am blowing them for several weeks. This blower has significantly cut down the time to do it. I like the ability to lock in various speeds.

Best money I've ever spent on a blower period.I will probably never have to buy another blower.

    Impressive product
Upgraded to the 500 and was amazed with the power, ease of use, quick start, and weight. What used to take me an hour now only takes 20 minutes.

    Based on vac function only
Used to vacuum yard full of sycamore leaves. Initially would have to constantly disassemble the bag and elbow assembly to unclog the elbow. Discovered on 2nd day of use that I needed to run at higher RPM to maintain a forceful airflow thru the elbow. Never clogged again. Looking forward to using the blower this spring/summer. One con, based on the elbow/bag assembly, the adjustment of the bag sling is critical to maintain an open airway into the bag. Being critical of a great tool, otherwise I ... read more give it 5 stars.

just what i thought it would do!!!
if you have a lot of trees around your property and no good place to put the leaves you need one of these beasts. we have places in behind sheds and around other building that leaves collect like crazy and theres no good place to blow them away. the shredder part is were i love it the most; that metal blade grinds leaves up to powder and will even crunch up twigs up to about the size of your pinky finger. the blower part has good performance also. the only thing i wish for me at least is a ... read more bigger collection bag. when you got a big pile of leaves it fills up pretty quick.

    Not Bad
Just bought this today and used it immediately. Once you get used to starting this, it will start with one pull. Took me several attempts to get the hand of things (read your manual). The shredded leaves are VERY small and desirable in consistancy. It did plug three times from ingesting a wine cork (burp) and some small twigs. It was powerful enough to lift some small river rocks. The blower is great. It took care of moving several years of leaves stuck under three cars (unlike my Weedeater ... read more GBI 30V - but hey - the Stihl has a larger engine) Overall rating: 4.5 stars

    Well worth the extra bucks
I have the br380 blower now for over 10 years. Nothing wrong with it just wanted to blow wet leaves and it lacked it ! So went into our local still dealer in Loganville and they told me about the br700 I bought it and as soon as I pulled the trigger I about fell over ! The power was in real ! I was afraid to blow the grass cause it might just go with the leaves ! Lol. What power it has. A must to have. Thanks Stihl Great product! Bob

    Great Blower
So I have a huge yard, and a lot of trees. I had an electric blower but it was brutal work. Went to the local dealer and bought the 700. It is awesome! I've used it several times already. Easy start. Powerful. Moves wet and dry leaves easily. It's a beast. It's also pretty fun. If you have a small yard, you for sure don't need this much power - you may want it anyway. But if you've got a big job this is your machine.

    well worth the money
I bought this blower about 2 weeks ago, I am so glad that I did. I was using another brand for the last 3 years, I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I only have 1/2 acre but I have 100 year old oak trees surrounding my house so the leaves are ridiculous. I have burnt 4 tanks of gas out of this thing and I love it. I bought the 600 to start with and it worked great as well, I just figured for the extra 50$ and the extra cfm that I needed it would be worth it and it was.

The BR430 is the power I need
I have a BG86 hand blower which has worked well, yet did not have the power to blow piles of leaves. The BR430 is new and has all the power I need. The BG86 starts easily. The BR 430 is trickier in that once the engine is started, you have to reach over and nudge the throttle lever. If not quick enough, the engine quits and has to be restarted with a few pulls. While relatively new in usage, the BR430 was a good choice.

    Another great stihl product
Purchased a br430 from Bairs in North Canton Ohio was unsure of what unit to buy and was upgrading from a old 55 hand blower the salesman who seemed to also be a stihl maintenance tech was super helpful and knowledgeable. I have had the chance to use the blower about 12 times and it works awesome has great power and really lifts everything up and off your lawn or concrete! Hope it last as long as my stihl saws, weed eater and my old blower.... Thanks Doug A

    Great blower
I purchased this blower due too my br420c being stolen out of my garage. This is an excellent blower. It is very powerful and moves the grass clippings and leaves in my yard wonderfully. I truly believe Stihl makes the best small yard equipment in the world. Very easy to start. Read the directions and you won't have any trouble. I also have a fc95 edger that is easy to start and cuts through any sidewalk I trim. You can feel the quality built in the product. I am totally satisfied with my ... read more purchase and you will be also.

    Fantastic blower
The electric start is fantastic. I have 2 young children and having constant interuptions while doing yard work can get quite tiresome with a traditional pull start engine. This machine has tons of power (more than I was expecting actually) and runs like a dream. I highly recommend the pre-mixed motomix as well. like most homeowners, i dont use mixed fuel quick enough before it goes bad (with the ethanol). Although a bit more expensive than mixing your self, the benefits far out way the costs.

Electric start not reliable on first start.
I like the concept of the electric start, but it hasn't proved reliable. The battery does not hold a charge. Each time you use the unit you must manually pull start the blower for its initial start even when using the next day. After running for a while if you pause and stop the blower it will start again at the push of a button which is convenient. I took the blower back to the dealer and they replied that there was nothing wrong with it so I presume it is normal that the battery doesn't hold a charge.

My crew and I are impressed
I have been using the Br600 &Br550s since they came out, I recently made the switch to give this electric start blower a 'what the heck' shot on the trailer and we are very enthusiastic about it. We can't tell the slight decrease in CFM but it's in between the power of a BR550 and BR600. Overall, the differences are minimal and I think the electric start may prove to be worth it. It is slightly heavier (3 lbs.) but the gas tank is bigger. Give it a shot in the field or at your home, I think it ... read more will stand up to the abuse like any other Stihl product.
