    Very Powerful and Productive
I bought this blower one year ago. This is my second BR600. My first one lasted 18 months and was rebuilt under warranty. Then it quit working again one week after the warranty expired for the same problem. Was not worth fixing, so Stihl worked with me to replace it with a new one. One year later, so far so good for this single homeowner and single user of the blower. Praying it will keep going long after the three years that the first blower only lasted.

Wish I had purchased this blower years ago!
Excellent performance in the first month since I purchased the blower. Have used 5 or 6 times for clearing 2/3 acre lot of heavy leaves. Immediate startup, amazing power and good ergonomics make the job so much easier and faster than I had with my previous blowers, including backpack models from other brands. The initial set-up, demo, and instructions on my blower that the dealer provided were extremely helpful and exceeded expectations. So much more professional than just picking up a unit in ... read more the box from a big-box home improvement center!

    Should have upgraded sooner
I bought the BR600 model back in October 2019 to replace a Stihl back pack blower I purchased in September of 1989. It still worked but was becoming difficult to start even with frequent service. Decided to upgrade to a more powerful unit. Wow. After using it the first time I realized I should have upgraded years ago. Operation is smooth with a lot more power. Made quick work of moving the fall leaves into piles. I continue to use it in the winter to blow light snow from the driveway and our deck.

    Awesome leaf blower!
I have had several handheld blowers over the past years, and all of them quit working on me, so I decided to upgrade to a backpack leaf blower. I decided that I wanted to buy just buy one good tool, and have it forever. I am not sorry I bought this blower at all, I love this tool! It will blow wet or dry leaves, pine cones, loose chunks of driveway... A big reason I bought Stihl is because I have a couple other of their tools, and I have consistently been able to get them started in very few ... read more pulls after not using them for a couple months, and this is no different. Only thing I would change about this is to add a waistband cause it blows hard enough to make it almost fly off your back, and take you with it.

Bought my BR800 to replace my 450 model. Needed more zoom and I got it. I can't tell the difference in weight. I am 6' 1" no he man. 62 years of age. Power is great. Starts runs beautifully. I only use STIHL MOTOMIX OR VP 50:1 fuel. Ditto the blower tube runs one but I am over it. Quiet compared to a 2 stroke nice low tone. Yes it is a gas hog but the ta.nk is large. I would buy another in a second if needed. GREAT BLOWER USUAL STIHL QUALITY.

I am a Stihl guy. I have all Stihl equipment. However today I bought a new BR800X. And oh my goodness what on earth did I wait on! This machine will get my yard done in 1/2 the time and possibly get me back on the golf course during leaf season! I have Never written a review, but I am currently leaning on my truck bead, smiling and writing my first. Everyone homeowner with any leaf battle must make this purchase! Thank you Stihl! Getting dark now. Hope nobody is planning to sleep in!

    Hip belt for backpack blower
I love the feeling of having the hip belt fastened on to my BR 600 backpack blower! Now i can work in the yard for hours with the support needed to have my back hurting when I'm finished.

    Will this work for br700?
700 is a little heavier. Need to relieve pressure on shoulders for lengthy jobs.

    Takes weight off your back
The hip belt is great in reducing the amount of weight you're supporting with your back and shoulders. It moves some of it to your hips, making it more comfortable and easier to use for long periods.

    A definite must-have
A great way to clean your gutters! Guy at the service counter I bought it from warned me that I should wear a raincoat when I use it. Needless to say I should have listened to him! If your gutters haven't been cleaned in a long time, it won't make them spotless, but it gets a good portion of it cleaned. Considering that it is only a couple of plastic tubes hose clamped together, the price is a bit steep.

Great for those who hate roof tops.
I haven't tried blowing leaves out of the gutters from the ground, but i have a roof with several different pitches on it. Using one 90 degree elbow and 3 extension pieces, i am able to get all my gutters without getting close to the edge. I don't care for roof tops and i don't like ladders, this allows me to clean the gutters and roof and stay far away from the edge. Definitely well worth the money.

    Good product
I purchased this so I don't have to climb the ladder. Our roof is very steep and getting on it to walk along the gutter using a blower is not an option. I used 2 of the 3 long sections and it worked well. Part # 4241 708 0100 that goes onto the tube connected to the blower goes on hard but seems sturdy when put on all the way down. Attaching the other tubes, I used the band clamps provided. I added a band clamp that I had on hand. For every connection where the tubing connects, I used a band ... read more clamp. I'm not comfortable on ladders any more, and this gutter kit lets me keep my feet firmly on the ground.

    Great Blower
Just picked up the BR 430 blower. And I just have two words to describe this blower , ( Totally Awesome). My Yard has several tall trees of different varieties. There's nothing this blower can't blow. Small branches, twigs, acorns, leaves. I didn't realize just how much force this blower had when I first purchased it. I was able to blow all of the leaves , twigs, that were in the front of my yard to the back of the yard an then into the woods. And I have a pretty big yard that's close to 1 acre. ... read more Now I sit at home waiting for more leaves to fall so I can take the blower back out of my garage.

    Good power
I got this blower after originally getting the BR350. While the 350 did a decent job, I just was not happy with the performance related to the price. I was allowed to return the 350 and try the 430 and I am glad I did. The 430 has significantly more power and a few other nice features that make it work the extra $50. I think the 430 is a great blower for someone who wants a backpack blower but is not willing to make the step to a BR 600+.

    plenty of power
I purchased this blower for home use. We have many trees on our property. The blower starts easily, runs relatively quietly (although ear plugs helpful) and has plenty of power to move leaves anywhere. Anti-vibration design is also a plus. I received an extended 4 year warranty by purchasing the Stihl 2 cycle oil. The unit appears well built to give many years of use. The only cons I have are that the instructions are weak with regard to blower tube assembly and the shoulder straps tend to slip ... read more off at times as there is no chest strap.
