    Powerful Blower
Have had my BR600 for ca. 1.5 years and am pleased with its performance. I have many large trees on my 1 acre property and my cleanup time greatly decreased with the BR600. Am able to blow a "pile" of leaves into my woods in short order. Having expressed my kudos, my only complaint is the harness. I've read about this complaint elsewhere. One of the shoulder straps tends to slip off when the blower is in use. A hassle as this is not a lightweight unit. Stihl engineers need to get this resolved!

    Very powerful
Good ergonomics, very powerful. Starts very good. Can't stand small engines that are hard to start. If it does not start on the second pull its out of gas. I run only non ethanol fuel to reduce build up and for extended fuel life. I have a lot of trees. Oaks and hickory. This thing blows large piles of hickory nuts almost like leaves. Had it for a year now and it gets a real workout at my place. I replaced a smaller husqvarna with this thing when it got hard to start. It runs circles around any ... read more blower I have ever used

    Does a great job
I upgraded to a BR 600 after using (still using) a BR 400 for 20 years. I had contemplated looking at a Husqvarna 750 and it felt like I had a Volkswagen on my back and sounded like it had no muffler. Don't be afraid of the 4 mix. Is quiet and lots of power on wet or dry leaves. All my power tools are Stihl and it's nice to go back to the dealer you purchased it from instead of a major box store or online purchase. Starts with one pull and is quieter than most other back pack blowers.

Light and easy to start and control!
I have had "economy" equipment in the past. My dad was always a Stihl man so when we saw the line of Stihl power equipment and after struggling with one of the "economy" brands we bought the Stihl. We absolutely love it! It is light enough and easy enough to use that both of us love to use it. We purchased the gutter attachment and now no more climbing ladders to clean the gutters. What a versatile machine. It is easy to start and the trigger throttle control allows me to control the power and not make a mess.

    This thing is great
I bought this blower vac this spring to clean up last leafs leaves. This machine will clog if you try to suck up too many wet leaves. So I had to scatter them with the blower configuration then after they had some time in the sun to dry this machine in the vacuum configuration easily sucked them all up. I have been very please with this machine. Sense the leave clean up it gets used once a week to clean off my patio and sidewalks. It so far has been very easy to start. I will update this review ... read more once the machine gets some age on it

    Value for the price.
My yard is about 1/2 acre and with a lot of trees, pecan and oak trees. With all the trees in my yard and so many leaves in the fall, I needed a good dependable leaf blower and vac. I researched them and talked to yard maintenance people about the equipment they use. Most used stihl products and were extremely satisfied. Stihl was what I purchased. I am extremely happy with it, so this year I purchased a stihl line trimmer, and am pleased with it. Stihl equipment is my choice for lawn tools from now on.

    Fully meets all my expectations
Bought it to blow leaves off the roof and clear the gutters. Does all that and more. Even used it this morning to blow the snow off the driveway and Suburban in 10 degree temperature. Using the 160 battery it lasted a full 30 minutes even at that temperature! May have to buy a second 160 battery to increase use life (driveway 150' long) but overall with the sole exception of the high price I love the machine. It is light enough that my wife will use it while she would never use a gas blower of ... read more which I have several.

    BGA Blower
I purchased this to replace my gas powered blower which isn't used much in the winter season and I have the usual problems getting it started for the first time in spring. This time the pull rope broke. Other times it's the hoses or carburetor. My new BGA85 works like a champ. Just pick it up and get to work. I don't use ear plugs but you can if you feel the need. It is as heavy as the gas blower but well balance with the battery installed. Not a problem for me with bad wrists.

    Real power from a cordless
I was very skeptical when I bought my first cordless piece of lawn equipment. It was the Stihl cordless chainsaw, and from the first limb I cut I was impressed. This tool is no different. The convenience of no cord, no fuel, no pull start cannot be stressed enough. I still have the gas version of both and use them when I know I will be at it for an extended period of time, but for a quick cleanup or quick trim this Stihl equipment cannot be beat if for no other reason than time saved, but there ... read more is no loss of quality on a job well done.

    Time saver
This blower has tripled my productivity. After using this blower commercially I am amazed at the amount of time it has saved me. Features I like: Electric start Moveable throttle to your arm length The self contained blower tube is fantastic. Power is very sufficient. Cons: shoulder straps are bad for such a high dollar blower. It seems like they were an after thought. It gets uncomfortable during long periods of usage. The blower is thirsty, has a big tank for fuel but it can go through ... read more it rather quickly.

First BR 450 C-EF the boss is trying it out
As far as power goes, it tops a BR 600. It does have bit of an annoying knocking in the motor or vibration. The push button start feature has not given any trouble once it is warm. You might want to first crank in the morning, but once it's warm starts right up. Frequently you have to stop to talk to people and it's nice to push the button to start it up. Like I said earlier it appears to have more blowing force than a BR 600. Noticed this in blowing off parking lots, used the BR 600 and BR 450, ... read more the 450 did the job faster.

To date, their best professional blower
I own a BR 550, BR 600 Magnum, and now the BR 450 C-EF -- without a doubt this is Stihl's best blower to date (Oct 2015). I think the Stihl engineers have underrated the CFM, as I can attest that it is virtually equal to the 600 Magnum (and possibly greater). Also, the way that the air is delivered is better, it seems to have more "punch" when you throttle up (compared to the 600). Electric start is a fantastic feature, even on cold mornings, it fires right up. Also, the larger fuel tank is a ... read more benefit over previous models..

    Will this work for br700?
700 is a little heavier. Need to relieve pressure on shoulders for lengthy jobs.

    Hip belt for backpack blower
I love the feeling of having the hip belt fastened on to my BR 600 backpack blower! Now i can work in the yard for hours with the support needed to have my back hurting when I'm finished.

    Takes weight off your back
The hip belt is great in reducing the amount of weight you're supporting with your back and shoulders. It moves some of it to your hips, making it more comfortable and easier to use for long periods.

    POWER HOUSE!!!!
I basically live in an oak forest and have had trouble keeping up with leaves since we moved here. The 800 Magnum blower has made short work of the trillions of leaves we have to deal with! So glad I didn’t try to save a few dollars and buy a lesser model! Very comfortable, even with hours of use! Less effort and awesome results!!! Would recommend to anyone who has a lot of leaves!

    One word: Awesome
I was using a hand-held blower for years. Did the job, but in the fall it showed its weakness with leaves. Decided to go for broke and got the BR800X. This thing BLOWS (pun not intended). Cuts the amount of time spent clearing the walkways after mowing. Can't attest to leaves yet since I bought it in spring. But the power is amazing, it is by far superior. And it is surprisingly light - I used a BR600 before and this feels lighter than that.

    It's about time!
This blower is worth every penny at any price! It moves everything, wet leaves, sticks, rocks, kid's toys, etc. I look forward to putting countless hours of use on this beast on my property! I wish it had an hour meter...
