    Powerful and Lightweight
One season down, no issues. Impressive power. Will blow wet grass off the driveway, wow. high volume. I Like the intake on the outside (right handed) so it doesn't suck your pant leg in. Its a different class of garden tool altogether. You can tell by its smooth idle, and when rpm drops it sounds like a motorcycle (ring, ding, ding,) if you catch my drift. It has that big engine quality. Takes about 1 minute to warm up, cold choke works great, Only gripe is the half choke when warm, takes ... read more several pulls to restart. Had a different major brand before and never would start, ever. I Run Stihl premixed or equal always.

    Excellent
For a somewhat elderly lady over 75 with 2 acres, it is a wonderful help. Thanks. Starts and works like a charm.

    Simple starting procedure.
I use it on a daily basis to blow a large amount leaves from my yard. It is well balanced and fairly light to prevent fatigue. It has plenty of power to move large piles of leaves. Although starting procedures are simple, it still will take 6 pulls of the rope to start it.

    very well thought out machine
this is the first backpack blower I have ever used, also have a BG75, this machine is unreal, If you need to blow lots of leaves real fast, this is the one to buy, does not matter how deep, wet or dry this thing will destroy them. I am truly amazed how well it works, but what else would you expect from Stihl. This is truly one outstanding blower, way to go guys!

    Monster blower!
I just picked up the BR700 today and tried it out at home, this machine is an absolute beast! I have been using an Echo back pack for years although it served me well I realized how much time I have been wasting! This machine moves leaves! I have to agree with a lot of reviews, it should come with the center chest strap but other than that 2 thumbs up..

    This product has great features
I have 2 Br 600s and when the Br 700 came out I picked one up. The power is better than the Br 600 and the air nozzle is awesome now that u can shorten it up in 3 sec which works great in tight areas around bushes or patios. Highly recommend this product

    Pushing Leaves
Working almost 3 acres of mixed woodland. Bought this today and 5 tanks of gas later I can say I put a major dent in the leaves and pine needles. Almost bought an echo which are cheaper but Stihl has always delivered on their other products. I have a few. Wish we could burn these leaves like we did as kids.

    Great leaf blower.
I had the small Stihl handheld blower and it hurt my back holding it in one hand. This blower is so powerful it's very much worth the money. Especially since it will most likely outlast me. It does burn fuel quite fast but it also gets job done fast.

    This is one sweet machine!
Starts fast and easily as long as you start it as instructed in your manual. It has superb power and is comfortable to operate, as long as you keep your posture correct and don't slouch your shoulders. That being said, this blower is the best I've operated in my 30 yrs. experience and I've tried a few different brands over those years. Best of all it's MADE IN AMERICA! (always keep fresh gas or store as recommended in the owners manual, I always use a fuel preservative in all my equipment before ... read more storage with great results)

    Works great
I live in the woods and blow a lot of leaves. It is light and has plenty of power to blow big piles. Very pleased as I am with all Stihl products I own.

Plenty of power for blowing and mulching
After a lot of research this was definitely one of the better buys I've ever made! Starts on the first pull every time and has PLENTY of power for not only blowing leaves but mulching them also! The mulching intake has a steel blade along with the plastic impeller which makes short work of small twigs. My last one had an all plastic impeller which had to be replaced every couple of years. My only complaint is that it seems to go through fuel quickly; but that may be user error.

    Outstanding product
It's a Stihl. Honestly there is not much more to say. But if you need more proof from me then here you go. This is my second Stihl blower vac. My first one was purchased back in 2002. If finally needed work. This one starts easier. Starts on the first pull every time. Short warm up period. Has more than enough torque and power to handle large to moderate yards (we have 3/4 of an acre). We live in altitude and this still works fine. Chews through cottonwood leaves with ease. Maple leaves don't ... read more even make it sweat. Fairly quiet. Bag holds more than it looks like it wood. Blower operation is better than my old Stihl BG65 and I thought that was the bomb. Everything about this machine is great but I will say the bag holds a lot and can get heavy.

    It's great being cordless!
I love not having to deal with an electrical cord. I am a small, older female, and needed a vac/blower that wasn't too heavy & started easily. This product accomplishes these requirements for me. I do have a little difficulty in pushing the tabs with a tool to change the tools! But can live with it. I think if you were stronger & had bigger hands this might not be an issue, just an annoyance. My husband likes using this product, except push tabs, too. Haven't had/used enough to know about the ... read more maintenance aspect.

    I'm sold! Great blower!
I've never had an electric blower before, but just moved to a smaller house and no longer needed so much lawn equipment. I have a small lot and small patio and driveway/walkway. This blower has as much power as I was used to on my previous gas blower, but you plug it in and turn it on--so simple! No gas/oil mixture to fool with, and it's super light weight! I love it! I didn't rate the 'dependability' heading above because I haven't had it that long.

    Solid performer
I like the idea that you sell through small business owners who provide great service and provide support at purchase as wellas after the sale. Quality, performance are a key factor to my purchase ex performance beside being made in USA.

    Built to last
I purchased the BGE 61 in the month of January and I have not had a chance to use it for it's intended purpose as of yet because any stray leaves that may exist on my property are buried under a foot or so of snow. I have, however, used it for MY intended purpose, to dry my car after washing without creating any swirl marks on my vehicle. It performed quietly and efficiently to my complete satisfaction. I do tend to wash my cars very early on weekend mornings, so the BGE 61's lower volume should ... read more be appreciated when spring finally comes if my neighbor's windows are open for fresh air. I certainly look forward to incorporating the BGE 61 for its primary use where, I'm sure, it will perform over and above my expectations in comparison to anything I've used to blow leaves during my Fall and Spring cleanups in the past. I always believed; Buy less but buy good. Stihl, thank you for not skimping or cutting corners and doing what it takes to build a superior product.
