Rated 5 out of 5 by QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY PURCHASED THIS ITEM FROM TAYLORS DO IT YOUR SELF. I HAVE A 8FT HEDGE THAT I LOWERED TO 6FT. LOVE IT. I PURCHASED IT FOR THE EXTENDED REACH, THE ECHO UNIT I HAD ONLY REACHED 24. GREAT ITEM. NOW I LOOK FOWARD TO SHAPING MY HEDGES TWICE A YEAR VICE EVERY 2 YEARS. A LITTLE PRICY BUT WORTH THE MONEY. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Bought to trim neglected bushes. What I thought would take hours really only took minutes. It trimmed like butter! Very sturdy built which is what I have come to expect from stihl. April 5, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cuts like a champ This is it. Well worth the time and little effort. Turned a multi hour job into a hour.Stihl. The name says it all. Also purchased a pole trimmer and a hand held blower, chain saw and oil. March 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Only useful for tops of hedges at or below waist level - too heavy for working on a ladder. Purchased one on a Friday and by Sunday afternoon I realized that I should have gotten the adjustable Hedge Trimmer. Some of my hedges are shoulder height, some over my head and this thing was too heavy to manuver. The adjustable unit would have made a near-impossible job a snap. Think long and hard before you purchase one of these, as the Dealers will NOT accept a used unit back in trade for the more expensive adjustable unit. October 30, 2012
