Rated 5 out of 5 by Oh my god, the power!!!! Don't cut up or down too many big trees, just a lot of cutting. And it's really good for it!! Like a hot knife through butter! Good on fuel! I work for stihl and all the people that come in and have the 880 love it as well. October 23, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Big saw for big trees Iv been in the logging business for quite a while and no other saw can compete with the 880 my dad had a 090 back in the day but in my opinion this one works just as well if not better. I run a 50' bar with those big ones, but the power cannot be beat i highly recommend this saw. April 19, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Time saving power! I bought this saw to save time bucking logs over 24" in diameter. Due to its awesome power and fast cutting I use it for everything over 12". It's easy to start and has power to spare. My friends like running it also...and we are all over 40! I wish I purchased this years ago. October 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The saw is great and powerful no problem if you keep the chain sharp I really enjoy the saw. The saw is a little heavy for me but I can cut more wood than all my friends and family. I have had two people wanting to buy my saw. I don't lead out my saw. August 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW talk about POWER This saw has the ease of starting.. The HP to pull the 47 inch blade I bought for the saw through the 40 inch Oak Logs I cut is like cutting butter with a HOT knife.WOW it takes a 1/8 of the time to cut the logs down to 18 inch logs. I have 4 otherSTIHL saws that are smaller and when I decided to go bigger I went all out..If its not STIHL ORANGE don't buy it......................... March 1, 2014
