MS 193 C-E
MS 193 C-E is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good saw for the money, Cuts excellent, lite and manageable to handle. Only complaint is that from time to time when the trigger is released, the saw will die. This is especialy notable if the saw is operated at a mid range rpm briefly and the rigger is abroply released. One pull the cord will immediately restart it. When operated at full rpm it runs like a champ and cuts threw oak, ash and locust up to 8" thick with ease. Other then the stalling problem it is a great little saw ideal for limbing and trimming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect small saw Have a MS210 w/16" and MS210 w/20", but as I approach 70, needed a smaller saw to use more. I have 8+ acres with lots of trees, and the need for a saw is often. Got the 193 C+E for light weight, starting ease, and maneuverability. Great choice for me in that it does what I ask , when I ask, without falter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for its use Wanted a light saw for trimming and limbing. Purchased with 14inch bar an thin chain. PERFECT ! Plenty of power , easy to use, light an maneuverable. Actually use it to cut more than I thought. Goes through 6-8 inch oak no problems. This my third stihl saw , now I have a small medium an large. Would recommend stihl saws to anyone . Dealer network a big plus , easy to get parts an service!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, strong, and lightweight. I chose this model for frequent occasional use. Commercial quality homeowner tool. Has always started, always runs strong. I replaced the default 14" thin kerf bar and chain with a 0.050" chain and 16" bar to meet my needs. Motor needs a minute to reach optimum temps to run full speed but then runs strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for clearing brush and small trees Lightweight but powerful for it's size. Somewhat cold natured at first but quickly warms up and performs very well. Not suitable for cutting firewood but great for wood up to about 6 inches in diameter. Exactly the tool for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, lightweight prosumer saw Good saw. Starts right up and cuts with more than adequate power. Keep in mind the class of saw we are talking about here with respect to power. I never expected this thing to chew through stuff like my vintage 028 Wood Boss. I bought it because my wife felt intimidated using the WB with 20" bar. You need to make sure that chain speed is kept up and not try and ask the saw to do more than it can. However, you can one-hand this saw easily and make quick work of most stuff around the property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most valuable single tool I own I know I use this saw way too much, but the combination of weight, power, and single hand use is absolutely incredible. Whether cutting numerous 1"-4" saplings, limbing larger trees, or almost any other property maintenance task for which a hand saw or loppers would be appropriate. This saw is large enough to handle most problems in the city and on large lots/acreage is invaluable to keep with you "just in case." The only downside to this saw is that it will go through some chains.
