Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very handy blower Great blower to have. Light and powerful easy to get around shrubs next to the house. Easy to start and runs hard. Would like to see a better padded shoulder strap with a breast strap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of power I would take this backpack blower over ANY handheld blower on the market. It is as powerful as most backpack blowers twice the weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dandy homeowner backpac An excellent overall backpac blower for the homeowner with a modest sized yard. I am retired, and I'm experienced in professional lawn mowing. It starts very easily and handles well. I'm really impressed with this unit except it could have a bit more CFM and air speed. I can stand in the center of a 2 wide drive and blow to either side but cannot do the same on a 3 wide drive. With bigger units that I have used in the past, that is possible. On a 1/4 acre lot if I had a larger unit, I could cut my blowing time by about 3 minutes, and on 10 yards a day, that can add up. I did have an issue with the spark arrestor on the muffler, but that is a simple fix resulting in a little more RPM and air speed. I have used many brands over the years, but in my opinion and experience, Stihl is the only way to go. My trimmers and blowers are all Stihl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable Produce I have owned this backpack blower for a year. Excellent product. It starts on the second pull everytime I use it. It lacks a little power compared to my previous handheld blower but not enough to downgrade it. The upside of having a backpack instead of holding the blower and your arm go numb outweighs the sligh loss in power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, Light & Powerful The BR200 is smaller & lighter than the larger, more powerful Stihl backpack blowers. While it does have less power than the larger heavier backpack blowers, it is still very powerful. It is more than sufficient for the tasks we have need of in blowing debris, leaves, grass clippings, etc as a homeowner. It is more than powerful enough for the blowing tasks we have around the house, clearing yard debris, & clearing the pool decking of 'stuff'. And it is extremely light. We looked a the larger Stihl backpack blowers & they are very, very nice, but are also much heavier. My wife wanted to be able to use our Stihl backpack blower, & the larger, more powerful models were really too heavy for her. The BR200 is light enough she can use it comfortably. For the average homeowner, I think the BR200 is more than sufficient.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pure Quality I previously owned an0ther name brand backpack and it lasted me 10 years. It was not the most powerful blower but kind of a intermediate unit. It was comfortable to the back and pretty easy to start. After hearing about the reliability of STIL , I decided to purchase the BR200 because of the weight of the unit and the price that was about the same as the other name brand 130BT. That part of the BR200 is great, but the blowing is far from being a useful tool. Also in comparison to my old Husky this unit is poorly constructed. I am sure the reliability is great and the service is exceptional, but all and all I wish I did not purchase this unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product w One Minor Glitch Nice little blower. I have a large yard. Makes clean up after mowing a snap. Haven't used for fall clean up yet so we'll see how the power is for tons of leafs. This thing is so easy to start. Wish STIHl would use similar starting system for chainsaws. One glitch is that the blower hose keeps wanting to pop off the back pack. I've tightened it down once. If it continues, I will take it into the shop for a look.
