Rated 2 out of 5 by from The idea is there Like a few other have commented, the line is tricky to feed all the way through sometimes. The winding feature is difficult and hard on the finger tips. Sweaty palms make it hard to turn when winding line mid day. The idea is great, but an improved or different system needs to be engineered for winding the line. I used mine for a week or 2 really trying to like it and I now have my 25-2 autocut back on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These are awful!!! I have been using the old model of easy spool trimmer heads for 15 years and they were awesome, these new ones suck! They are harder to load, they are hard on the fingers when winding the line in, when line gets stuck inside they break easily trying to get it open. I would not recommend these to anybody. The old ones were way better why change a good thing?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money Product with the original line broke off inside at least 20 times. No need to disassemble is a joke. Never got to use the autofill feature. Back to my original heads. At least the line doesn't break off inside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible head will not feed Bought this head as recommended by Stihl dealer and it will not feed. It is worthless. Took it back to dealer her couldn’t get it to feed. Gave me new one same problem. Stihl is not what it used to be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stihl still doesn’t understand I’ve been using another brand’s heads with an adapter kit so I had high hopes for the Stihl version. I’ll start off with the positives. It was easy to load and did feed line well. The negatives are: It is too heavy and messes with the balance of the trimmer. It is big and bulky making it hard to get in tight spots and corners. The main compliant I have is after 2 days of use the grooves on the bottom had become sharp and it cut my hands to wind the string. So I went back to a competitors head again which I believe is great. I do wish Stihl luck in coming out with something comparable because all of my equipment except the head is made by Stihl. I will purchase their next attempt as well.
