    Great safety equipment
I bought two Stihl chainsaws and a weed wacker. I was getting hit in the face with debris and it was loud. I bought a cheaper no name helmet and it didn't protect me properly. I returned it and spent a little more on the Stihl and it's been fantastic. I whole heatedly recommend this system.

Great piece of PPE to have!
If you're going to be operating a chainsaw, this is a must have! With all the possibilities of serious injury, this is a mandatory safety item for me when I'm buzzing away at trees. This helmet system fits perfectly and protects extremely well. Very comfortable to wear even during long work sessions. The metal mesh face shield screen is highly transparent and does not get in the way while using a chainsaw properly. Good job Stihl, keep up the great work!

Excellent fit, outstanding protection, good value
I use this helmet with several Stihl tools (blower, pole saw, several chainsaws, weed eaters and when I'm using my chippers or log splitters). This helmet stays with you; look up, down or sideways and it doesn't fall over your nose. The screen works fabulously well and deflects wood chips, rocks and other debris with great success. While walking under huge Douglas fir trees I had a "widow maker" come down and hit me squarely on the helmet. The helmet deflected a heavy dead branch (about 4" ... read more diameter and maybe 18-20' long). Although the ear muff broke off, the helmet was fabulous; the branch was deflected to the side, I was completely uninjured, and if I can get a new muff, this is still a perfectly serviceable product. Yep, I keep these helmets available for people that work with me and they are required to wear them.

    Multi-function safety glasses
This is a great choice if you need classy safety glasses for different applications. They're light and comfortable for heavy woods work. But, they also make great shooting glasses for the range. Their usefulness doesn't stop there. With their cool yellow tint, they really help your eyes' natural ability to cut through fog, haze, and even heavy snow squalls to better focus on objects while driving. I keep a pair in the car all the time, especially during our Northern Michigan winters when ... read more frequent snow storms can mess with our visibility. I love these things!

Style that offers protection at an affordable price.
I bought the mirror style glasses. They feel good and are pretty comfortable to wear for long periods of time. It's great to wear just as regular sunglasses for casual wear. They are very affordable as compared to the more expensive name brand glasses on the market that provides impact resistant features.

    Only one flaw
After purchasing these I was extremely pleased. They did a good job of blocking debris as well as sunlight. The only problem with them is that after about 40 hours of full time use, one of the rubber nose pieces fell off. They are not as comfortable now, but are still functional.

    Safety first!
I would feel naked without wearing these if I was using my chainsaw. Statistics has proven that a majority of all injuries caused by chainsaws occur to the lower extremities. These chaps cover the areas most commonly affected by chainsaw injuries to the legs. I love wearing these along with my other PPE. They fit very well and are adjustable at the waist and at 2 locations along the pant leg to fit the width of your legs. They are lightweight, flexible and allow a great range of motion to the ... read more operator. I like the black color chaps because the dirt and grime is less obvious to show.

    Love the value.
I bought these as part of a package deal that had protective glasses and a safety helmet with visor and ear protection. These chaps are great. Awesome value and really comfortable I am a decent size guy at 6'2" and 220 lbs and they fully covered my legs despite their one size fits all. The nice thing is they were half the price of more expensive chaps and they are great for casual woodcutters. Also they are lightweight and easily cleaned when they get sweat and dirt on them.

Easy to put on, nimble to wearer
I wear my Woodcutter Chaps in very wet conditions. I maintain waterways. I wear them over breathable chest waders in the winter. Just this past week I had to use them, meaning the chain/bar tapped my knee when a widow maker hit my Stihl helmet (awesome helmet). Everything happened quickly. But my waders didn't receive any damage and neither did my knee. Oh it could had been bad but the chaps worked. Awesome stuff Stihl!

    Love these gloves
Really love these gloves. They are great for rope work with the extra thick palm. Also really like the velcro wrist strap. Just wish they were a little more affordable or were cheaper if bought in bulk.

Best christmas present I ever got!
My wife gave me a pair of Pro Chaps on Christmas. I have been thinning some Pondarosa Pines on our 200 Ac. ranch and have cut down about 200 trees between 6 and 12 inches in diameter during the past couple months. Last week while cutting off some lower limbs so I could get to the trunk of a tree to fell it, a branch fell onto the saw blade and forced the saw into my upper thigh. The chaps stopped my Still 290 before it got to me. Not a drop of blood was spilt. I had to thank my wife again for ... read more the great Christmas gift. I am very glad I had the right safety equipment. After that experience, I won't cut without them, and I won't let anyone cut wood on our ranch without chaps. A lot cheaper than a visit to the ER.

    Must Have Protection
I bought myself and my Dad one of these. They last a long time, very durable. Nothing wring with some good leg protection. I like the quality of the product.

These are the most comfortable 9 ply chaps I've ever worn. You will forget that you have them on.

    Could have been bad....
I was cutting some scrub brush at a friends place and my saw kicked back into my thigh. My saw stopped almost immediately. I took my chaps off to assess the damage, chaps worked exactly as they were supposed to. I had a line of bar oil on my jeans, but did not cut them. It took 45 mins to clean out my saw, and will need a new set of chaps....but WAY better than the alternative!!!

Spend the extra for the protection
Running 661-R, 362, 210 and 171. Use the chaos with all as I saw my brothers leg scar from the kick back he had. Ain't good to not wear even though the extra weight is aggravating.
