    Overall Excellent Blower
I have owned several blowers over the past 20 years and many of them Stihls. I own a small Lawn Care Business and I have used Stihls almost exclusively for blowers. I have had my last BR 600 for at least 6-7 years and it has been a work horse. I did have to replace the carburetor about 3 years ago and I think I need to replace it again but with the amount of work it has done this is acceptable maintenance. I just purchased a new BR 600 and I am sure I will get great service for years.

    Power Baby
I had a craftsman for years took me 2 to 3 hours to do around my house, driveway, and spouting. I live in the woods with alot of leafs. I did more with the 600 in 2 hours, half the time. It did a better job around shrubs and landscaping. You just have to watch it has too much power for the mulch. Just ease up on the power. I use 93 gas with stihl additives and lucas for ethonal for years with my chainsaws and weedeaters. No problems. Thank you stihl for a great product.

    Beats a rake...
I have a 2-acre yard half covered in trees. We didn't rake all of it last fall as it was just a battle we could not win. I decided to pick up the BR600 and I'm very glad I did. It was blowing soaking wet leaves, sticks, branches and small rocks and a snake like they were nothing. The spots where I had leaves on top of mulch I could cut the throttle back most of the way and leave most of the mulch undisturbed. It's a lot quieter than I thought it would be. Also worked great on a bee that kept ... read more buzzing me...not sure where he ended up... Between this BR600, my FS70R and MS261 C-M I can keep the place looking nice! Anyway, highly recommend this leaf blower if you need something that can move leaves with not much effort!

This product is easy to use.
It starts easily and handles with little or no fatigue. Fueling it is a snap. It can be easily put down while in operation. Its best feature - it moves my large piles of leaves in no time!

    Easy Starting & Runs Great
This machine starts more easily than any 2 cycle engine I've ever owned. It is lighter than others I've used and is more powerful. I don't see any downside. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

If your not buying a Stihl your wasting your money
I've had several other blowers that I bought from big box stores. Finally went and got the real deal. Starts up first time everytime. No tired arms or cussing. I have a Stihl chainsaw that is 12 yrs. old and a hedge trimmer that is 5 yrs, old both are as dependable as the day I bought them.

    Replacing gas equipment with battery
I just replaced my gas backpack blower with a Stihl electric battery operated blower. I had previously replaced my gas string trimmer and hedge trimmer with Stihl electric units. Next to go will be a chain saw for a Stihl battery saw. I have a quick charger and two batteries that I can use to run any of the Stihl battery equipment.

    Solid with great power
This is a great cordless blower. A battery lasts about 25 minutes going full power. Blows leaves, twigs and crud with ease, like a good gas blower. Tool is very well balanced, so easy to handle when in use. Also nice lighter weight and decent noise level, well below that of a gas blower. I was not wild about the cost, but once I started using the tool the price became much less of an issue given the performance of the blower. It is worth the expense. Plus no more having to deal with gas and oil. ... read more The fast charger works great too. Will be buying more of the tools in the future.

    leaf blower
This light weight leaf blower is the best I've ever used. I live on a wooded this blower moves a lot of leaves. The battery lasts about 40 mins. and recharges quickly. So you have time for a little break.

This is my second one of this exact model
Starts quickly every time. Shredder is vulnerable to damage when vacuuming around small rocks, but is powerful. Works well when held in right hand, but is not intended to be used on left side of body as is sometimes necessary. I use it year round; even in the winter to blow light snowfalls from sidewalks. Wish it had the ability to extend the blower attachment even longer for some jobs. If this one wears out, I will buy another one just like it as a replacement.

    Based on vac function only
Used to vacuum yard full of sycamore leaves. Initially would have to constantly disassemble the bag and elbow assembly to unclog the elbow. Discovered on 2nd day of use that I needed to run at higher RPM to maintain a forceful airflow thru the elbow. Never clogged again. Looking forward to using the blower this spring/summer. One con, based on the elbow/bag assembly, the adjustment of the bag sling is critical to maintain an open airway into the bag. Being critical of a great tool, otherwise I ... read more give it 5 stars.

excellent blower - hard to start
I had the equivalent model for 8 year before it need to be replaced. The old model and the new model blowers both do the job as expected. I have not used the vac feature on the new model yet. The older model always stared easily. I am disappointed that the new unit is hard to start especially when warm. Last night after the unit had been idle for about 15 minutes I could not get is started again. I had to finish the job with my wife's battery powered blower. I would have given 5 stars if it was ... read more easier to start.

BG86 Used year round in Florida
I purchased the BG86 on my dealers recommendation. It's probably my most used tool for yard work needs and it's a solid performer. Starts every time and has enough power to get the job done (blowing grass clippings, leaves, mulch, etc...). I run all my machines on STIHL HP Ultra mix and 100LL Aviation Fuel. Its ethanol free and the machines seem to run with a bit more authority on it. I don't seem to have the power issues some say in the reviews and mine starts right up every time.

    Perfect for my yard
My son has a backpack blower that is to big for my yard. I have 5000 sq. ft. to use a blower on. My son has 1 1/2 acres. His blower is a BR 500. Brought the blower home and gave it a try. Much to my surprise this is more than enough power. Possibly more than I need. Every thing Stihl says it is and more. I am going back today and get the gutter attachment because I do not like getting up to the roof. Easy start, loads of power, and easy to use. I have always believed spend the money for ... read more quality, you get what you pay for. Great value for the money

    Great Blower!!
Bought a BG86 from the guys at James River Equipment in Chester. Fueled it up with the Stihl premix - purchased with the blower to extend the warranty. Followed the instructions, a couple of pulls and it started, as per the instructions! Blows really strong and cleaned my yard up in less than half the time it took my old blower! Pretty quiet for a two stroke motor and fuel efficient. You can notice the quality of the build compared to other cheaper blowers. I now look forward to mowing, grass ... read more trimming and cleaning up the mess with my Stihl blower! Happy days! Ps. The guys at James River Equipment are friendly and knowledgeable!

    Great Blower
The blower starts easy and is very easy to use. Power is good (could be a touch better) and handles most tasks with ease. I have yet to use on large areas of wet leaves (November is not far away). Only down side is no ability to lock the throttle on full power, you must keep your finger on the trigger.

Why did I wait 20 years to purchase this blower?
Hand's down - the most effective leaf and yard debris blower I've ever owned. I cannot explain why for 20 years I relied first upon a plug in electric device (functioned satisfactorily but cumbersome with the cord) and more recently a rechargeable (air volume like a gentle breeze). It probably is due to the fact that (a) I thought 2 stroke engines fuel/oil mixing were a pain in the a-- and (ii) that Stihl products were out of my budget. Shame on me. This is an incredibly effective, easy to use ... read more yard tool. I've been using it daily just for the fun of it. Using the pre-mixed Stihl fuel makes it a breeze to operate (pardon the pun). A single fall yard leaf clean-up by a lawn service would cost me double what I spent on this item. Buy one of these - you'll be happy you did!

    Love it
I was concerned that I was underbuying. You know us guys. Bigger is better in equipment. But I went middle of the road and was "blown away" with how well it performed. I had some year old piled up leaves on the side of a building. Rained on, walked on. Packed. This baby got under it and flipped up sheets of the stuff. It took no time at all to clean it up and blow it all into the woods. I kept going and did the whole yard and more. Fun stuff. I recommend this to any homeowner. It's also pretty ... read more light. You don't need a strap at all. The air forces it up a bit. Kind of floats.
