    Very powerful
Good ergonomics, very powerful. Starts very good. Can't stand small engines that are hard to start. If it does not start on the second pull its out of gas. I run only non ethanol fuel to reduce build up and for extended fuel life. I have a lot of trees. Oaks and hickory. This thing blows large piles of hickory nuts almost like leaves. Had it for a year now and it gets a real workout at my place. I replaced a smaller husqvarna with this thing when it got hard to start. It runs circles around any ... read more blower I have ever used

    BR 600 is Awesome
Even though the price of this blower may initially scare the average consumer away, this is an awesome unit. I've owned this unit now for over a year and when I use it weekly, my neighbors all stand there watching in awe. It simply blows like crazy and makes moving leaves, grass clippings, bark, dirt and debris an easy job in very little time. I've even used it to move light snow in the winter. It simply will remove spots from a leopard! Great unit and I certainly would buy again...

    Game changer
With a very large property populated by innumerable oak trees, for years I struggled in the fall removing leaves. Finally I upgraded to the Stihl 600 BR. The difference was not only great, it was exponential! I was immediately able to move large piles without difficulty (both wet and dry) and get leaves out from previously awkward areas between shrubs and in densely ground-covered areas. Plus, the ergonomics and relative comfort of the machine made this all enjoyable! This is undoubtedly one of ... read more the finest tools I have ever owned and my only regret is not having punched a Stihl years ago!

Great blower, only a few minor suggestions
Excellent product. Made what I thought would be drudgery a fun job, and a quickly-done job. I only have a few minor quibbles. I'm left-handed so using the righty-only blower took some getting used to, and is still somewhat awkward for me. The hose between the blower itself and the rigid plastic arm and hand controls needs to be longer. I find myself needing to crook my elbow behind the plane of my standing body to hold the control handle, which limits the movement available in that arm and ... read more becomes somewhat uncomfortable over time. It feels like being restrained. This hose restriction requires me to walk back and forth more when blowing since I am unable to my extend my right arm to the position I would intuitively if the hose were longer.

    I'm sold! Great blower!
I've never had an electric blower before, but just moved to a smaller house and no longer needed so much lawn equipment. I have a small lot and small patio and driveway/walkway. This blower has as much power as I was used to on my previous gas blower, but you plug it in and turn it on--so simple! No gas/oil mixture to fool with, and it's super light weight! I love it! I didn't rate the 'dependability' heading above because I haven't had it that long.

    EXCELLENT
I had a craftsman leaf blower.. just threw it in the trash... was goin to take it to my cabin, but after using the stihl 61, I'm just going to go buy another one for up north. Well worth the money!

Light and easy to start and control!
I have had "economy" equipment in the past. My dad was always a Stihl man so when we saw the line of Stihl power equipment and after struggling with one of the "economy" brands we bought the Stihl. We absolutely love it! It is light enough and easy enough to use that both of us love to use it. We purchased the gutter attachment and now no more climbing ladders to clean the gutters. What a versatile machine. It is easy to start and the trigger throttle control allows me to control the power and not make a mess.

    Very versatile machine
After reading some reviews concerning decoupling of the tubes, I was somewhat leery of buying this machine. Using a T15 Torx makes releasing the locking nut simple and easy. The throttle has great response to allow me to suction leaves off of #57 limestone in my window wells and near the foundation. The machine is lightweight and easy to handle. I've only used the machine twice, once as a vacumm, and once as a blower, but I have no resrvations concerning long-term use since I own several other ... read more Stihl machines including a 25 year old chainsaw.

Plenty of power for blowing and mulching
After a lot of research this was definitely one of the better buys I've ever made! Starts on the first pull every time and has PLENTY of power for not only blowing leaves but mulching them also! The mulching intake has a steel blade along with the plastic impeller which makes short work of small twigs. My last one had an all plastic impeller which had to be replaced every couple of years. My only complaint is that it seems to go through fuel quickly; but that may be user error.

    Great multi-function product
I'm almost 70 years old. I have 4 large oaks in the yard. I could only use the vac mode for about an hour before I was worn out. I finally used bungie cords to attach the vac to an old flat cart and arranged the bag to hang from the handle. Now I don't carry the bag, I don't carry the vac, I just pull the cart and swing the pick-up tube through the leaves, empty the bag, keep it fueled-up and can work for at least 4 hours.

    Very helpful
i saw this kit before and kinda wanted it so i bought. it toke a little time for convert it over to my blower but it was not bad after all. i just used it today and it just rained last night and this tool was handling the wet leaves like they were dry was very happy it nice for spouts were a rake cant get to and really works the best if the leaves are loose and one pavement.

Worth a try. Saved me lots of time.
Yard was full of leaves, & thick. After filling one bag in a short time, I used the vacuum without the bag. Threw the mulch out to the side & down. It's dirty, wear a mask. But it's saves emptying the bag every 2 mins. or so on the really heavy areas. Then used the mower to pick up the rest. Reduces the mulch by a great amount, and puts the rest in the lawn.

Good Product w One Minor Glitch
Nice little blower. I have a large yard. Makes clean up after mowing a snap. Haven't used for fall clean up yet so we'll see how the power is for tons of leafs. This thing is so easy to start. Wish STIHl would use similar starting system for chainsaws. One glitch is that the blower hose keeps wanting to pop off the back pack. I've tightened it down once. If it continues, I will take it into the shop for a look.

    this blower has good power
I bought this in lieu of an Echo 500. My main reason was the weight, only being 12 pounds vs 22.doesn't have as much power, but for what I use it for it is perfect. Mainly I use it to dry off my cars when I wash them, and keep my property clean.it starts very easily,it will blow grass clippings and small piles of leaves easily. If you're looking to blow massive amounts of leaves this is not the blower for you. Overall I am very happy with this product.

    Very Pleased
Starts easy, runs well, uses very little gas, Does the job as desired, I have a full acre of land, lots of Fir trees and broad leaf trees, maple, walnut, cherry. The Broad leafs blow very easily, the fir needles are a lot tougher. I should have purchase a bigger blower because of the fir needles. This one works but more air power in my case would work better. All in all very pleased !!

    Pushing Leaves
Working almost 3 acres of mixed woodland. Bought this today and 5 tanks of gas later I can say I put a major dent in the leaves and pine needles. Almost bought an echo which are cheaper but Stihl has always delivered on their other products. I have a few. Wish we could burn these leaves like we did as kids.

    reliable and powerful
I use my new BR 450 blower to remove pine cones, leaves, hickory shells, small branches, etc.. Does an excellent job. Having several Stihl products over the years, I currently have and use:. 2 chainsaws, a pole saw, a blower, and a weed eater. Reliability and durability of all products has always been great. Living on and personally maintaining 11 acres that I keep looking like a park keeps me and by Stihl products busy. Wouldn't buy anything else.

Without a doubt the most powerful blower I have used
I bought this to help out with all the leaves and pinestraw I have to clean up every year. Best tool for the job without a doubt. Blew my entire yard and had a pile two feet high and this blower was still pushing the pile. I was also planning on dethatching my lawn. Well thats not necessary anymore this blower took care of that. If its not attched by the root its gone. Great investment if your tired of raking like I was.
