    Power Baby
I had a craftsman for years took me 2 to 3 hours to do around my house, driveway, and spouting. I live in the woods with alot of leafs. I did more with the 600 in 2 hours, half the time. It did a better job around shrubs and landscaping. You just have to watch it has too much power for the mulch. Just ease up on the power. I use 93 gas with stihl additives and lucas for ethonal for years with my chainsaws and weedeaters. No problems. Thank you stihl for a great product.

Good Blower, but could use some User Improvements
Good Blower with good power, however it could be much better if Sthil made improvements to make it easier to put on to hold the straps together so they do not slide off your shoulders. I use a Carabiner Clip to hold straps together, once on. Also, once on, and the blower shuts off, you have to remove to start again. Stihl should modify the blower so it can be started while wearing it. Stihl should consider these updates...why have a good blower, when they could have an outstanding blower!

    Good all around blower
I have only had this blower for 2 months, but I can give you an idea of what to expect. First I would like to talk about power. This machine can blow wet, large piles of leaves with little effort. Second topic is noise. The noise did not seem loud to me, but I do wear ear protection muffs. Third topic is fuel efficiency. It seemed to consume a good amount of fuel but that is normal for a machine in this power category. Overall I am very satisfied.

Gives me exactly what I need
Light weight, plenty of power. Does the job in no time.

    Excelent for General public
Although electric seems new for STIHL I took a chance at the best brand name. So far it has been great through the fall season. I would have liked the two speed offered with the BGE71 but did not want/need the bagger nor additional expense.

    Powerful and Light.
I bought this for my mother who wanted something to blow out her garden. I bought this model solely because of its weight. I was surprised at how powerful it was for such a small/light machine. She couldn't be happier.

    Great handheld unit
I've had the BG86 for about three years now. Its worked great and has never had to go to the shop for repairs. I've used synthetic Ace hardware brand oil in with no issues, sorry Stihl. It takes four or five good pulls to start her, same as when she was new. And she takes a minute or two to warm up before you can get full throttle, but the same can be said about me. So no demerits there. Other than that she works like a champ and has good power. We now live on a bigger property and will be ... read more upgrading to the BR600 backpack blower.

Stihl is the best on the market with value
I'm in Nebraska and was tired of using a shovel or broom to remove SNOW off the walks and driveway... I bought the BG 86 for the highest MPH blowing and it cut my snow removal time in half.. The bonus is the walks are cleaner than using a shovel.. I also use it to blow off my truck instead of brooming it off and scratching the paint.. Can't wait to see how far it will blow the leaves... Lol

    Great Blower
I purchased this blower 3 years ago for fall leaf cleanup and general homeowner use. It gets used at least once a week for cleaning grass clipping from garage, driveway and street. One of the things I appreciate about the blower is that it starts very easily. When the engine is cold, I can always start the blower with three pulls. The blower idles well and has a lot of power for moving leaves and debris-even when wet. I've read other reviews about hard starting and rough running but honestly, ... read more I have had no such issues. I am very pleased with this blower and have had zero issues.

    Extremely Powerful and Lighweight!!
This blower is practically weightless compared to all other handhelds (due to separate required battery adapter pack). The power this thing has is unreal. Battery life isn't great with standard small batteries, but sufficient for small jobs. Great blower!

    Very Powerful
After working with the full line of gas powered products on our 16 acres we have downsized to 1/2 acres in a quiet gated community. I decided to give the BGA 100 a try based on the convenience of battery power. What an amazingly quiet powerful blower. With two batteries and the 500 series charger, one is never without a fully charged battery in reserve. Highly recommend this blower for homeowner use.

    You can't miss with this
My neighbors have one of these blowers, and when I saw what it would do, I immediately went to Ace Hardware in Hixson, TN and purchased one. It is a great little blower and did our leaves without any trouble. I hope to purchase a second battery, though the recharge on this one is super fast. Thanks, Skill, for a great product.

    There's a reason....
There's a reason why Stihl products cost little more. It's because you get what you pay for. This blower falls into that category. From looks and design to performance, I'm glad a paid a few dollars more for a Stihl. The blower is powerful enough for the average homeowner and has a low db rating so it's not that loud. From the minute I brought this home, I had a blast (no pun intended) cleaning up all of the leaves....from heavy and wet Maple leaves to lighter and smaller Japanese maple this ... read more blower makes easy work of cleaning up.

Best blower I've ever put my hands on
It starts in one or two pulls it is better than the homelite I used the previous year. It's super fuel efficient I've filled the tank may be three time the entire summer so far it's not got the padding like on a br380 along with an elastostart cord would be nice but that is a small area of improvement it's more than enough power but is nice for wet leaves and grass.

    Excellent blower with padding upgrade.
BR 350 - picked one up during the Fall sale. Ordered the strap padding and rear padding from the BR430. Definitely a plus with the extra padding and even better when the Fall sale discount covers the padding upgrade. Stihl reliability works for me. Blower does a great job especially in residential use. Upgraded from a handheld Poulan Pro unit and never looked back.

This product excellent on hard surfaces
I purchased the BGA85 to blow debris/leaves off of my patio, walks & porch. It does a great job with plenty of power left in the battery. It will also blow a small amount of leaves in the yard. For my use it has plenty of power left in the battery. The unit is on the heavy side with the battery is installed.

    Solid with great power
This is a great cordless blower. A battery lasts about 25 minutes going full power. Blows leaves, twigs and crud with ease, like a good gas blower. Tool is very well balanced, so easy to handle when in use. Also nice lighter weight and decent noise level, well below that of a gas blower. I was not wild about the cost, but once I started using the tool the price became much less of an issue given the performance of the blower. It is worth the expense. Plus no more having to deal with gas and oil. ... read more The fast charger works great too. Will be buying more of the tools in the future.

    Real power from a cordless
I was very skeptical when I bought my first cordless piece of lawn equipment. It was the Stihl cordless chainsaw, and from the first limb I cut I was impressed. This tool is no different. The convenience of no cord, no fuel, no pull start cannot be stressed enough. I still have the gas version of both and use them when I know I will be at it for an extended period of time, but for a quick cleanup or quick trim this Stihl equipment cannot be beat if for no other reason than time saved, but there ... read more is no loss of quality on a job well done.
