VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A new, limited extended warranty is now available for select STIHL serialized gasoline-powered equipment purchased for personal, family, household, and non-income producing use. By simply adding a six-pack of STIHL HP Ultra two-cycle engine oil to the product purchase, qualifying consumers receive double the standard warranty protection from the date of product purchase. The equipment and HP Ultra must be indicated on the same bill of sale, and the serialized product must be registered.*
STIHL HP Ultra is a fully synthetic 2-cycle engine oil specially suited for high performance chainsaws and power tools. This oil has outstanding engine cleaning characteristics, plus “ultra” superior lubricating qualities in comparison to other 2-cycle engine oils. It also has the added environmental bonus of being highly biodegradable, degrading by 80% in 21 days.
STIHL recommends a mix of 50:1 high-quality (89 octane minimum) regular unleaded gasoline to STIHL engine oil during engine break-in and normal operation.
