How did you get involved in lumberjack sports?
Joined the ESF Woodsmen Team while in college in 2001.
When did you begin participating/competing in lumberjack sports and the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series?
I won the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Collegiate Championship in 2005 and have been in it ever since.
How do you train for the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series and other lumberjack competitions?
Event training and cutting firewood.
Are you related to any current or former STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series competitors?
Best/strongest STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series discipline:
Depends on the day, but usually I would like to say one of the chopping events.
Any advice for the collegiate competitors?
Listen to advice from whoever will give it to you, take it home, break it down, and use what makes sense to you.
