What are your plans after graduation?
To be a forester for a small sawmill.
When did you first start participating in lumberjack sports?
Freshman year of college.
How did you get involved in lumberjack sports?
I joined the team at Penn State Mont Alto and have been hooked ever since.
Are you related to any current or former STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series competitors?
No.
Any advice for other collegiate competitors?
Learn from anyone you can. There is always something you can pick up from everyone. Don't be too proud to ask for advice.

Mel Lentz.
Best/strongest STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series discipline:
Standing Block Chop.
Hobbies:
Wood chopping, hunting, and fishing.

Proudest moment in your life so far:
Competing at the STIHL Finals in 2010.

Not really.
Tim is the 2012 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series Collegiate Champion and has earned a spot as a professional in the 2013 Series. After winning the championships last June, Tim travelled with the US Professionals to the World Championships in Lillehammer, Norway to participate as part of an international Rookie team.
