HOW TO ENTER:  The sweepstakes begins on March 11, 2008 and ends on March 15, 2008. All entries must be submitted and received within this time period. Any entries not received within this time period will be disqualified. To enter, visit the STIHL booth at the CONEXPO and have your electronic registration card scanned. You must have a phone number and/or email address associated with your CONEXPO registration in order to be eligible. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. Entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

ELIGIBILITY:  The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older as of March 11, 2008 and are registered for CONEXPO. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, dealers, vendors, or advertising, marketing, public relations and promotion agencies, and such employees' immediate family or household members are not eligible to enter or win the sweepstakes.

SELECTION OF WINNER:  Winners will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about March 15, 2008, from all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted under the supervision of Sponsor. The odds of being selected as a winner depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

PRIZE:  Grand Prize: A custom Peavey guitar (Approximate Retail Value: $5,000.00)

First Prize: A TS 420 STIHL Cutquik® cut-off machine and accessories (which includes a water tank, STIHL HomeScaper Series™ gloves, protective glasses, construction hard hat system, B 20 14” diamond wheel and 2.6 oz/6-pack of HP Ultra (Approximate Retail Value $1,322.70).

Second Prize: $500 STIHL product/merchandise certificate.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize, shipping costs, as well as all other costs or expenses involved in participating in the sweepstakes that are not specifically included in the prize package, are the sole responsibility of the winner.  
The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash, and prize substitution will not be allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

WINNER NOTIFICATION:  The winner will be notified that he or she has been selected as a winner by telephone or e-mail within three business days of sweepstakes conclusion. If Sponsor is unable to contact any entrant to notify such entrant that he or she has been selected as the winner or if any notification is returned as undeliverable, for any reason beyond Sponsor's control, or if any entrant does not meet the eligibility criteria, then such entrant will forfeit his or her claim to the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected.

In order to verify his or her eligibility to claim the prize, the winner will be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release (this document, a "Release”), and to present a valid photo identification card to Sponsor. The Release must be completed, signed, and returned to Sponsor or Sponsor's agent with a copy of the winner's photo identification card by April 1, 2008 or the winner will be disqualified and will forfeit his or her claim to the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected.

The Grand Prize guitar will be delivered to winner on or after June 1, 2008.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:  The sweepstakes will be governed by these official rules. By participating in this sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of Sponsor and its agents, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this sweepstakes. This sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law, and is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Sponsor, and its parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and these companies' officers, directors, agents, and employees (collectively, the "Released Parties”) are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) any act, failure to act, delay, or error relating to the transmitting or processing of entries; (ii) telecommunications network, phone system, computer system, hardware, or software malfunctions, failure, disconnection, data loss, or other difficulties of any kind, including any injury or damage to a participant's registration card resulting from participating in the sweepstakes; (iii) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment, hardware, software or programming associated or used with the sweepstakes: (iv) any conditions caused by events beyond the control of the Released Parties that may cause the sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any losses or damages of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in the sweepstakes or from participation in the sweepstakes; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, terminate, or suspend this sweepstakes without notice if causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, security, or operation of the sweepstakes.

By participating in this sweepstakes, all entrants release and hold harmless The Released Parties from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of action, or losses of any kind resulting from participation in the sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, defamation, infringement of intellectual property rights, and claims based on the rights of publicity and privacy.

By participating in this sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to have his or her name, photograph, voice, biographical information, and likeness used in any and all media, for promotional purposes relating to this sweepstakes and future similar sweepstakes without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law.
