Rated 5 out of 5 by this 4 stroke has enough torque to run metal blades at mid rpm. One of those rare purchases that keep reinforcing it's value and has no negatives. July 22, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Descent piece of equipment It's good for what it is. Don't have the power I thought it would. Had a fs 55 r n don't see much difference. Could also be at least 6" longer. Overall a descent piece of equipment July 19, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product! I bought this to replace a Name brand one of similar price. This Stihl is far better and more dependable. Not to mention not being proprietary. I'm done with that other brand. This Stihl FS 70 R is probably the best purchase I've made in years! July 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brush and yard trimmer After purchasing and using the Stihl FS70R, my opinion is positive. Having used trimmers since the 1980s, I must say; this is one of the better trimmers on the market. It does not flood when starting; it idles well; and comes with a sling / strap -which helps the back and shoulders immensely during extended use. July 5, 2016
