Rated 5 out of 5 by Lurch77 Clears Heavy Brush & Saplings With Ease We have a bad invasive European Buckthorn problem here. Until recently I have been trying to clear them with a chainsaw and loppers. I finally picked up an FS 110 and this Scratcher blade. This combination helped me clear the buckthorn at 3 times the speed I was doing it before. I wish I didn't wait so long. July 19, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by jinx I never really warmed up to this one. The teeth on this saw blade have no offset. Try and use it like a circular saw and it will pinch and stall out. As a brush cutting blade it works fairly well. Turn it at top speed and swing it like a maniac and it will cut through a pretty good size sapling. Mine dulled quickly and they're not worth sharpening. This is my least favorite Stihl blade. June 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by RichBrosMowing Excellent piece of equiptment. Saw works great. Got it to do some sucker clearing below a row of aspen trees. Goes through saplings up to 1" like butter. The bigger trunks come down also but take little longer. It is not a tool to take lightly. BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! June 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by JoySee A Monster This blade has enabled me to clear vast areas of brush and sapling in a tiny fraction of time in my woodlot. Tree sapling up to 1 inch are downed in just a swipe of the blade. Impressive. I've not had an attachment to a toll that offered such a quantum advantage. I start using it and can't stop until I am so exhausted I can't hold on anymore or it's so late in the evening I can't see. I would love to know where the blade can be sharpened a few times before replacing. May 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Natertot Cuts Through Anything....just about anyway I purchased the Scratcher tooth circular saw blade to go on my Kombi KM90R with the brushcutter attachment. Swapping it out was a breeze and this thing will cut through most all briars and small saplings that I could put it through. I was cutting up to 1 1/2" saplings with it without a problem. I bounced the thing off a few rocks which made me nervous but it did not affect the blade at all. July 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Larry22 Great for small trees This saw blade has been a lifesaver for cutting down small Honey Sucke trees up to 1" in diameter. This species of trees is taking over Missouri forests. Not so great for Blackberry brush, but Stihe has other blodes that will work on any thorn bushes. January 17, 2013
