Rated 5 out of 5 by Garandman Terrific for woody brush I have been clearing brush in NH, mostly ferns and other weeds, with an occasional hardwood or pine sapling. Those saplings didn't always go down with the string trimmer. The "Ninja Blade" whipped right through hardwood saplings up to about 1/2 inch and with a little time go rid of ones up to 1 inch. Well worth the money. September 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by califr Great trail trimmer Use this on the 460. I have 3 miles of trail to trim. Cant get to all of it in one year so I rote one of four sections. The scrub oaf can get 2" and the soft wood 4". No problem.I wear steel toe boots religiously. August 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by DIYfool This thing ROCKS! I just got the FS130 with bicycle handle and the full harness. First of all the harness is amazing, do weight on your wrists, you basically guide the machine. I bought this blade for blackberry bushes and i can tell you it eats them up. I've been wanting something that keeps me far enough away so i don't get snagged on the bushes and this does it. Very impressed... not cheap but it is worth it! July 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gator Cuts like a hot knife through butter. This brush knife does it all. I mowed through weeds, grasses, saplings, and potato vines with ease. It is cleaning my 2 1/2 acres with ease. Just what the doctor ordered! September 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by FastJohnny Fast clearing of year-old brush I use this yearly to clear saplings, reeds, brush and cat tails. 1" saplings go down with one swipe at full RPM. Be careful when operating in rocky areas. This is a fantastic attachment for clearing much more than grass. The cutting path is much more narrow 12" (I think) than 16" using x-line on my FS110 and FS90 so I find myself switching off. If you spend a lot of time trying to clear stuff tougher than 15" grass you should try this. It does not clog easily unless clearing a lot of long grass, even, then it stays pretty clear.
