Brush Knife
Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 11reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stihl Brush Knife I purchased an FS130 with the bicycle handles bars and harness. This brush knife works really well I used it to clear 9 acres around my home recently. It cut through heavy brush and saplings up to 4" with no problem. I've sharpened it a few times after hitting rocks that I didn't see. It is easy to sharpen and I have never experienced any vibration what so ever while using it. It is definitely worth the money. May 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This blade is a great product. I bought this blade for my FS90r. one of the best investments I've ever made. I cut 3 acres of saplings up to 1 1/2 . Vines up to 1 inch we all know how Aggravating they can be with ease. And the blade is just as sharp as it was when I bought it.The blade on my Fs90r does not vibrate like others have written about and is very well built. January 18, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cuts great but vibrates I open this on Christmas morning and was very excited. I couldn't wait to put it on my FS250 and get to work... The knife rips through everything effortlessly but it vibrates a little too much. Hopefully I will find a solution to this problem and write a better review. January 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by You will be amazed. I recently purchased a home on 3 acres where the previous owner didn't maintain the land. This is the perfect answer to clearing 6 foot tall grass with saplings, stumps, and fallen limbs hidden in it.Make sure you wear gloves and eye protection because it can throw debris everywhere. The brush knife will cause my FS90 R to vibrate if it gets off knocked off center from an impact with a stump or cutting down a larger sapling. October 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than Expected I am using this blade and my FS130R to clear a back lot which has been neglected for 5+ years. 1.5" saplings and smaller are all taken care of with this blade. It's tough, and stays sharp enough to get the job done. April 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Blade For Me I have an FS110, and use the OEM string head, the scratcher blade, and this brush knife. This brush knife is by far the best of them. Nothing within reason stops it. It chews through thick grass, eats saplings, and even chews away at thicker brush and small trees. I used it to clear some shooting lanes for deer season, and it did the job easily and efficiently. The only downside to it is somewhat petty: the price. When you get down to it, it's just a small piece of metal with some sharpened edges. But since it does the job so well I can accept that it is a little bit more money then I think it should be.Overall this is the blade to have if you could only choose one. If you have more than just grass to cut, get it, you won't be sorry. October 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Terrific for woody brush I have been clearing brush in NH, mostly ferns and other weeds, with an occasional hardwood or pine sapling. Those saplings didn't always go down with the string trimmer. The "Ninja Blade" whipped right through hardwood saplings up to about 1/2 inch and with a little time go rid of ones up to 1 inch. Well worth the money. September 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great trail trimmer Use this on the 460. I have 3 miles of trail to trim. Cant get to all of it in one year so I rote one of four sections. The scrub oaf can get 2" and the soft wood 4". No problem.I wear steel toe boots religiously. August 17, 2014
