Pro Mark™ Denim Protective Leggings - 9 layer
These denim leggings slip right over your pants with nine layers of Engtex® protection.
With Pro Mark™ Denim Leggings from STIHL, you have the flexibility to tackle whatever the workday has in store. When the job calls for chain saw cutting, simply slide the leggings over your existing pants and fasten to your belt. These leggings feature hook and loop fasteners for quick, secure fitting, as well as zippered leg openings for additional convenience. Inside, the leggings feature nine layers of Engtex®, a cut-retardant material designed to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the body parts covered by the pads in the event of contact with the rotating saw chain. These Pro Mark™ leggings provide three additional layers of Engtex® over our standard six-layer leggings. STIHL chain saw protective apparel is also wash and wear, unlike some other brands that require dry cleaning or light surface cleaning.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
These protective garments contain pads of cut-retardant material designed to reduce the risk or severity of injury to the body parts covered by the pads in the event of contact with a rotating chain. The fibers in the pads provide extra layers of material and are designed to rip apart if they come into contact with the moving chain and to clog the sprocket and stop the chain in certain circumstances. In some contacts, the pads may stop the chain. In other contacts, the pads will resist the cutting process only for a fraction of a second. The actual degree of protection afforded will vary with the speed of the chain at the time of contact, the power and torque of the saw, the design of the chain saw sprocket and similar factors. Follow the washing instructions. Improper care may destroy cut-retardant properties of the material.
The fibers will not stop the sprocket on most electric chain saws because of their constant high torque. NOTE: Chaps are measured by overall length from the waist down. All chaps have a tough outer shell of oil/water-resistant nylon treated with rain/stain repellent.

Where this label appears, these garments have been Classified by UL® (Underwriter Laboratories Inc.) as chain saw cut-retardant leg protection for all Operators of Gasoline-Powered Chain Saws by using ASTM (American Society of Testing & Materials) F1414 Test Method and ASTM F1897 performance standard.
