Rated 1 out of 5 by Only for tilling potting loose soil Very dissatisfied!!! Have owned Echo and Mantis cultivators and both are hands down better than this one. No power and not near enough RPM to work. Fine for little old ladies, but using it to work on real jobs is not practical. My echo and mantis were awesome. this one just bogs and goes way too slow!!! had to flip handles over to try to correct weight distribution and gain some weight on the tines and get it to try to helped.... even my wife agreed it was better, but still a waste of time. Sorry, had high hopes for this one and was disappointed! July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Suprisingly Powerful and Effective I bought the Yard Boss with the cultivator head and have been delighted at it's effectiveness. One never knows with combination tools like this, but then I've come to trust Sthil equipment. We have several planting beds at a new build home and the soil is all over the place...clay, compost, logs, rocks and this piece of equipment took it all. Sure, you have to pick out rocks, but I used it to mix the soil and compost and rotted wood and got a great mix as far down as 8 to 10 inches. Easy to use. Powerful. Great buy. July 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is very versatile I purchased MM 55 C-E with the power broom to remove rocks from my lawn after plowing snow all winter. It works perfectly. When I have it out people stop in and want to hire me to sweep their lawns. June 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Small Garden Tiller The Yard Boss is perfect for small garden and flower bed preparation in spring. I like the light weight but powerful performance. May 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Horse Power and Weight It is definitely light weight and easy to use but has difficulties cutting threw grass grown areas. I should invest in the weight add-on for this model. Compared to a Mantis Tiller.......I should've bought the top-of-the-line Mantis. Just better. period. May 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excels in the light work, lacking a bit in power for the heavier tasks I have used and abused this tool for about 5 years now. In our previously tilled garden as a cultivator it is quick and effortless. Moving stamp sand out of our lawn after the snow melts, it does very well up to a point where it lacks a bit in power to push the heavier stuff. Using the brush on the sidewalk takes a bit of finesse to balance down pressure to the forward movement. The wheel option helps tremendously with this.Out on the trails is where I really abuse this machine. I use it to bench cut mountain bike trails in the sides of hills. Its light weight and folding design makes it easy to carry out in the woods. It saves a lot of time and back strain opposed to digging with a pulaski. Note: it does not play well with larger (fist size) rocks so I avoid those types of soils.I would like to see a bit more power on the unit and maybe a heavy duty string trimmer attachment. On the wheel attachment, wider pneumatic tires would help. February 24, 2014
