Rated 1 out of 5 by To Heavy, To Big, To Expensive.. and it works against you! Had 3 inches of snow so purchased the PowerSweepr attachment. It is very expensive, big, and heavy. It turns against you so you have to fight it to move the snow or other debra. Because it's so heavy I had to drag it up my driveway. I called the store and asked if there is a wheel attachment and they told me not for the home KombiSystem. Great!! Now I have to see if they will give me my $$ back. The unit is horrible and works against you. Using a shovel would be less work then pushing this monster. January 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wish I had this 18 years ago Having a 1/4 mile gravel driveway has its challenges. Raking rocks back onto the driveway after plowing snow all winter is the biggest. Up until this spring, a hand rake took maybe 40 hours to get it done - and it wasn't perfect. Finally retiring and being able to walk my dogs daily, I got to know my remote neighbors. One neighbor one mile away was out working with his new PowerSweep. I couldn't believe what it was doing. His wife came over and explained what it was. The first Stihl dealer I went to was a disappointment - he didn't know he didn't have one in stock - then told me he would have one the next day - then told me they were out of stock - called other Stihl dealers within a 25 mile radius and no one had one.So, I called Bob Lord at Bullion Sales. He said he had one in stock. I told him to hold it - I would be there in 20 minutes. I was there in 20 minutes and bought it.I ran like a charm right from the get go - I did my whole driveway in about 6-8 hours - a minimum 32 hour savings. And it did a better job.I haven't tried the tiller attachment yet - but I am assuming it will do a great job on smaller jobs. I have larger tiller for big stuff - but it isn't used much anymore because it is too big for maintenance work. The whole unit was a bit pricey, but I bought a Stihl backpack blower 17 years ago which still runs as good as the day I bought it. I can say the same for my Stihl chainsaw and grass trimmer.I like to use my tools to do the job - not have to repair them. I am not disappointed with Stihl. The only issue with Stihl that I know of is when I bought my Road Crew at work two premium chainsaws. One of the guys ran over one of the saws with a huge truck. As good at Stihl products are, they lose in a fight with a 10 ton truck. May 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Useful unit, but out of reach of the weekend home business Very good unit, however the return on the unit (especially if you need the bristle broom & paddle) means you will be cleaning for a very long time to pay off. Would be good if the bristles and paddles were interchangeable. March 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best cleanup labor I purchased this head with my 130r head unit. This is the best cleaup laborer I have. The unit is heavy, the cleaning power is awsome. This unit cleans up in 30 minutes what took our workers 3 hrs.I jus bought another unit though, the first one died after 3 years. September 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works suprisingly well without damaging grass but expensive I know it is hard to get past the sticker shock. It took me a few months and I almost put it back. I am glad I bought it though. It does work great. It is really pretty amazing the amount of debris it will remove from grass with little to no damage to the grass.Where this really shines is removing sand, cinders, and rocks from your grass which is especially a problem in the north after a long winter. For this task there is truly no better product. A leaf rake does a mediocre job and gets tiring. A leaf blower does a little better job but after a long winter sometimes the stone, sand, and cinders have started to become part of the ground. This product also works very well on pine cones, pine needles, wood chips, mulch, and leaves on grass. It also works well on concrete and asphalt to remove mud, rocks, and sand.It is heavy but it isn't to tiring using. Where you really notice the weight is carrying it between areas you want to use it but it is manageable. I think using a rake is more exhausting. The rubber paddles have held up better than expected. After 4 hours of use on concrete and asphalt there is very little noticeable wear. July 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean rock of the lawn After each winter the snow plow leaves rocks, etc. on my lawn. The attachment works very well. It does take a lot of strengh to run it for a very long time, but I can sweep 100 feet in about 15 minutes.I would recommend it, works well on loose rock too. November 1, 2012
