    Handy saw
Riding ATVs for years, I don"t leave the shed without one of these in the tool box. I've cut trees up to 5 inches with this saw, you have to work from different angles, but you can open up that trail instead of heading back. these are great saws and you need one if you go out side for yard work or trail riding. Just get yourself one and see how good it really works.

    Nice Pocket Saw
This is nice saw to have for those little prunning duties I have where bringing out a chain saw is not needed. Had it for awhile and still sharp and works great.

    PP 70
This hand pruner is the best I have ever used, let alone held! The locking feature is easy to unlock but is very secure when not in use. The price may scare some homeowners/landscapers away, but the quality of the blades are amazing and can be removed to be sharpened, unlike many professional hand pruners out there. Amazing hand pruner for all jobs, from cutting flowers to trimming small branches! I do recommend the hand pruner leather sheath for easy transport!

    Very nice.
Great leverage and action. Light and strong. We have had 3 pairs. Sort of difficult to buy as local dealers don't all carry the hand tools.

Best hand pruner I've used for pruning apple trees
I have a 100 tree apple orchard that I manage. Annual pruning takes a sizeable amount of time. My old Stanley pruners caused hand pain and finger fatigue. The Felco pruners that I tried kept slipping out of my hand as they seemed to be end-heavy. Stihl's PP70 pruners are the best by far. No fatigue or hand pain after hours of pruning. Better still, they seem to be an extension of the hand and are easily maneuvered around and between branches when pruning. I oil the blade and the pivot point ... read more after each day of pruning.. A touch up sharpening with the diamond stone is needed once or twice during the season. The price is a tad high but you get what you pay for. I've purchased a second set to have as a spare. On the down side, I've busted the spring twice due to fatigue, but Stihl has replaced it both times without question under their lifetime warranty.

    Worth the money
Stihl good German quality splitting maul. Splits most any wood unless it's too punky. Zehr Gut.

    Brutally Efficient
I've never split firewood. I know how to swing a sledge hammer, and I'm pretty efficient outside, so it was a pretty fast learning curve. The review is not meant to imply that this tool makes splitting firewood easy right away. We just moved and my new fireplace needs something to burn. It seemed like no fun to get split wood delivered, so I in addition to the tree that I just had taken down by a local arborist, I found a local place that had plenty of rounds to deliver. I decided on this maul ... read more because I think big box stores carry awful striking tools. A few days after my local dealer got it in, I started on the cord outside. This felt natural from the beginning. The weight is just right and the hickory handle cuts out on vibration and has a great feel. The neck and connection are well built. Some of the wood from the felled tree was pretty wide and I needed a wedge. The head did just fine. It took me a while to figure out why there was a hook (duh), but it was a great addition. After a few sessions, I'm just about done the cord. The maul shows zero signs of wear and tear unlike my right tricep, which I assume is the sign of inexperience and age rather than being the fault of the maul.

Don't be scared of price, well worth it.
From the moment you pick this maul up it becomes apparent this is a well crafted tool. I am currently splitting 18 inch wide dry ash rounds. With an old tire around them these large rounds are reduced to small pieces in no time. After splitting firewood for the past 25+ years I can easily say this is one of the best tools I have used. Excellent product.

    Mighty mite!
I bought this to carry in my backpack or pants pocket while working on mountain bike trails. Does a great job on anything 1-3" when a chainsaw isn't handy. This saw has saved me several trips back to the parking lot to get my chainsaw.

Extremely sharp when new. Very nice saw for trimming when you don't want to fire up the chainsaw. Mine dulled quickly when cutting roots, but it isn't really made for that. Luckily replacement blades are available.

    Strong handle and Replacable blade
Awesome bite while using little effort, though blade is not all that strong.

Lightweight and a pleasure to use!
The PL 40 Lopper is a very durable, lightweight tool that does the job with ease. You will be amazed at the little effort it takes to cut branches up to 2" in diameter. What I like the most about the PL 40 is the aluminum handles that make it so light. Believe me, this tool is no lightweight when it comes to pruning branches. GREAT value for the price!

Perfect hand saw for trimming limbs.
I've had my PS 60 Pruning Saw for the last five years and it is still as sharp as when I bought it! It has a very comfortable hand grip and seems to be just at the right angle to make cutting almost effortless. The saw carrier is well made and easy to wear on your belt. If you don't want to get the chainsaw out to cut small branches, get yourself one of these,it's a real time saver.
